You have to be really careful out there and vet thoroughly any man you give a second of your precious time to. Men will lie about their politics, ideology, religion and anything else if they think it increases their chances of getting in your pants. Even the “good”ones.

It’s funny you mention older widows. My grandma was in her 80’s when my grandpa passed, they’d been together 65 years. She had dudes in the retirement community she lived in hitting her up right away, to which she said “no thank you. I’m good” to every one of them 😂. She lived another 15 years freely enjoying her many friends and social activities.

He just wants to project his inability to have a fulfilling life without a partner onto women because he wishes it were true. He doesn’t care if women are happy or not, he just wants them to be available to men, whether they want to be or not. It all goes back to them not treating us as autonomous human beings and then they wonder why so many of us want nothing to do with them. I know a lot of women who were married for decades who are now happily single and not interested in ever having a roman…

I know a lot of single by choice women of all ages. Many of them choose not to have romantic relationships at all. Every single one of them is happy, thriving and have a strong social networks with other women.
