I agree there's no point to compete in that, I'm just trying to illustrate that often men complain about women only recognizing good looking men and ignoring the rest while they usually do the exact same to unattractive women. Unattractive men and women should support each other if anything because they are pretty much being victimized by the same social structures but all the internet does is gender-warmonger them against each other.

Also, lonely women aren't viewed as creepy or dangerous. The only reason that could be any different for lonely men though is that there may be some that pose a negative example. Generally though it's not the case. If you're being seen as creepy or dangerous, it is not because of being lonely (but can coincide).

Uhm, self-esteem then, sure.

One of Well I'm happy for her but trust me that truly ugly women are possibly even lonelier than men. 3-5/10s will get desperate asf and try a lot and usually get used while 1-2/10s will get no attention ever in the best scenario, usually not even from other women, because for them beauty obviously holds value.

Sure, agree then

Unpopular opinion - you're completely ignoring the experiences of unattractive women because we as men tend to ignore them the same way most women tend to ignore unattractive men

I agree but at the same time i have to acknowledge that relationships and sex unlock a way to a type of character development, including affirming self-worth, that other things just don't.

It you were right, wouldn't that be a reason to give them some other powers as well?

I see. Yea that's a very difficult discussion.

Yeah but what's the argument to begin with?

I think twice is a little too much. Exactly the same as the accusation would be adequate imo. Idk about US, but here in my country in Europe we have a criminal provision for that, although very lenient.

More like aggressive manipulative marketing needs to go. You wouldn't have a phone to type on without capitalism

Actually calling sex boom boom is pretty cute compared to this

That doesn't prove anything. Really you all talking about Ukrainian women should visit Ukraine at least after the war. The country is incredibly poor for most of the population, the roads and houses are in horrible state, the state does hardly anything. It is incredibly difficult to find a living wage paying job and it is incredibly corrupt. You would want to have more than one child in an environment like that if you could choose?

Yeah but it would be a lot easier to do if it wasn't such a recurring appearance. It is demoralizing to see.

It just sounds like she's not even interested in dating when she puts this first. It's as if a man writes he just wants to hit. It shows a lack of self reflection.

Damn leave the 9ers out of this for real

Yeah ok so I see the core of the issue. Oppression is submissiveness to you. Not gonna waste any more of my time to argue w that. Enjoy ur day
/r/MensRights27/02/26 02:14 PM

What you understand as submissive would becalled oppressed by anyone in their right mind. Submissiveness is not forced, that's oppression. It has to be chosen to be submissiveness and not oppression.

Those things would not be a proof of submissiveness or of anything about women but only evidence about the utterer. You clearly have your understanding of what submissiveness means wrong.

And if you wanna keep discussing let's go to dms because comments this deep are very buggy and it's annoying the shit out of me

What sort of evidence would you imagine? You're still connecting things that aren't related in that way. If there are gender quotas wherever, it doesn't say anything about submission, or, if at all, it makes the opposite of the point you're trying to make

It was a spit in the face of the men who are defending, often against their will, their homeland from an asian-communist (russian) invasion. I don't disagree with that but it's not an argument about submission. The fact that I haven’t visited a given country does not mean that I can’t speak about it. You absolutely can say what you want but you visibly don't have a clue about what the country is like in reality.

By the way, it’s strange that you think women shouldn’t speak about political issues I literally never said they shouldn't. I actually prefer as much REAL equality as possible. But that requires work on both sides. do you have any proof that Ukrainian women are actually submissive in that way? This is an unanswerable ask and it sounds like someone who's chronically on the internet would ask.

Leading by example is not stupid, it's actually the only reasonable productive thing you can do about anything ever. Waiting for your voice to be heard and theoretically put in practice by someone stronger than yourself is very womanly and cowardly.
/r/MensRights27/02/26 12:27 PM

Actually it's not irrelevant because I'm pointing out you makes false assumptions based on not knowing the topic and making connections between unrelated things to prove some general doomer point about how things are terrible

Plus if you ever visited Ukraine vs Western Europe you will agree with me the gender roles are much more traditional in Ukraine as in all the Eastern European countries.

Well then: women are not a block. Im sure some women did oppose it, some did support it, and most probably didn't care. That istanbul thing is non enforceable anyways, it's just a political proclamation serving to get political points for whoever desires that. Actually being submissive implies not standing up too much in anything political or generally not speaking up too much, how do you not get that?
/r/MensRights27/02/26 12:19 PM

Well then I don't have to answer your stupid question either, simple as that.

Where are you from? Do you know any Ukrainian women and men actually? Have you been to Ukraine? I do and have.

The rules of past society you praise were created and held up by individuals, most male, and some still do. Ifyou want it, lead by example.
/r/MensRights27/02/26 12:07 PM

Submissive doesn't mean easy to please. In fact quite the opposite since by taking the lead you also need to bear more of the responsibility
/r/MensRights27/02/26 11:59 AM

To be fair it has never been very strong outside of Kyiv probably. Ukrainian women are usually submissive and/or hardworking in the home and outside

Funny part is that's not realistic

To some degree you're right but it has a pretty simple solution - don't follow expectations. Live your life not an expectation.

I like the message of OP but in my view the more I like a message the more I like it to be put 'perfectly' so that it can easily keep spreading without being twisted on the way.

Then i mostly agree. Though this It is a common need for men to feel they are being effective and contributing to society. Similar to it being a common need for women to feel protected. Is mostly a social construct of what we can call patriarchy (without calling it good or bad but it is it), and so if we want equality of sexes, it has no place in our society.

I actually think these awkward men have the potential to be great if we nurtured and empowered them in the same we did women. Obviously, but just as obviously - we don't. we still need them, Kinda toxic to think men are only valuable when needed and that we just don't see the need. Men are valuable as they are, just like women, for being human.

Not sure if that's related but I wanna add that soo many (straight but also bisexual) women are biased against bisexual men. Like they will post all the time about supporting lgbtq+ but that stops the second their man could potentially be bisexual. And I even have no problem with that but the reason bugs me. They see homosexuality in men as not respectable, that's why they won't date bisexual men. And the second they want to insult you all that support for lgbtq+ vanishes and they will call you …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
