Own Your Shit Weekly - February 15, 2022Yeah pretty much everything I’m doing to improve myself involves intentionally being uncomfortable & learning to deal with it, and this is no different. “Masking” is a good word for wanting to distract my brain from the discomfort, but the real training would be just sitting in the discomfort and letting it pass. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 16/02/22 03:41 AM
Own Your Shit Weekly - February 15, 2022That no-man’s-land is actually what 2200 calories felt like, I ran that for a few weeks and pretty much hovered over the same weight. I was slowly losing weight with 2000 calories for a few weeks before moving to 2200, so my thinking is 2500 should be enough for a slow bulk. When I first started lifting I was quickly bulking at 2700, a little too quick to have been all muscle. My BF % is still just an estimate, honestly if there’s anything I need to do it’s get an actual measurement so I’m not j… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 16/02/22 03:36 AM

Own Your Shit Weekly - January 11, 2022Good point, edited my current lifts into my comment. Left them out because they’re weak, but you’re right that it’s the accurate reflection of where I’m at now. And I’m getting protein from 1) not following the fast to the letter (I’m eating eggs and milk, 2) lots of beans, and 3) protein powder. It fucking sucks but that’s the point, anytime you’re hungry or think about meat you’re supposed to turn your mind to God, pray, read the Bible, etc. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 11/01/22 03:51 PM

Marriage: 25M/24F | married 1 year, together 8 | no kids Physical Body: 5’ 11”, 177 lbs, estimate 19% BF Used a TDEE calculator to both estimate my calories for cutting as well as get an idea of my ideal weight given a BFP of 10-15%, which is somewhere between 185-195 pounds. I’m going to cut back to about 15% BF for now, which… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 11/01/22 03:13 PM |

Own Your Shit Weekly - December 07, 2021Lmao thank you for that video, that’s basically what I’ve been reading about nutrition but I have this voice in my head saying that I’m just reading things wrong or cherry picking sources. But as I pointed out in another comment I think that voice is just my wife’s frame & I need to ignore it | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/12/21 06:59 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - December 07, 2021Good point, recognizing problems means nothing if I’m not fixing them. Future posts need to address how well I’m implementing my shoulds & will-dos | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/12/21 06:48 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - December 07, 2021Eating meat in general is sustainable for me, it’s eating it several times a day that feels excessive. Yogurt & whey protein are both good examples of high protein sources that can help take pressure off meat. I have a worry in the back of my mind that my dramatic uptake of eggs, milk, meat, etc. is going be bad for me somehow, probably the result of drifting into my wife’s frame as she’s getting into a “eat lots of fruits and vegetables” kind of diet. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/12/21 06:46 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - December 07, 2021I definitely don’t need all the fat of whole milk, I’ve just read conflicting evidence on whether that fat is actually bad for you or not. I also thought BF increased just by caloric surplus, not necessarily consuming too much fat. I could be wrong on either of these though | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/12/21 03:12 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - December 07, 2021OYS 6 After a couple weeks away from OYS posts courtesy of my inability to break rule 9 every post, I’m back. OHP and BP usually advance after a session or two, but I noticed my squat form was being compromised so I dropped the weight a bit to work my way back up paying special attention to form. | 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - November 02, 2021Overthinking has always been a problem of mine, and I’ve been intentionally shutting it down more but clearly still have a way to go. You’re right about game needing to be fun; here the past few months I’ve had more success when I didn’t even have sex as a goal, but was just bantering and having fun. Definitely something to reflect more on, thanks for pointing that out. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/11/21 07:37 PM
