Surely, they wouldn’t expect men to be ready to give up their lives and dreams to protect their country in the eventuality of a war without anything in return, right? I'm 22 and a virgin, mostly for lack of trying (I'm an introvert so that's my excuse) but also because I don't really fall in love that easily. I sometimes get lonely and/or feel like a loser but I'd rather be single than in an unhappy or abusive relationship. It seems like most relationships are a waste of time and money anyway, so I don't know why I would want to be in one and put pressure on myself to find one.
