| 54 | A good response when a girl asks you to buy her a drink!Once happened that a buddy of mine were in a club chatting at the bar, I was buying us each a shot and he was chatting to some girl who was standing at the bar with a friend of hers. I payed, and shots were on the counter. The one girl asked, "are those for us?". My friend and I looked at each other, and at the same time we said "No", and took the shots. I know when I come out of a long term, or semi long term relationship getting close to someone is the last thing I want to do. Not because I am hurting, but it is a great time to go out, meet new people, try new activities, try find a new hobby, all things people can get in the way of. I wouldn't take it to personally. | 4 | How do I "open up" so I can meet more people?I think I agree with all of this. I don't really look for trust in other people, because I do know that I have myself. I do trust myself, and that is what matters to me. Also, the only standards I care to live up to are my own. In some cases they are lower that "society" in others they are higher, but it doesn't matter because they are mine, and I know who I am. I was never bullied at school, but I was never "cool" ether.
