I've graduated college but as a manchild I go back often and visit my friends. Follow the other advice but what I've found works is just introducing myself to everyone, man or woman. "Hey, how you doing? Enjoying the party?" Shit like that. If you come across someone cute, strike up a conversation. If not, move on. This is the early night game. Meet people and have fun. Late night game is after everyone is good and drunk. If you're an alcoholic like me, you've put away 12-15 and are plastered. A…

I figured this out when I had a fuckbuddy for a couple months and realized that even if I fucked up I was still getting laid that night. I made huge steps in my game.

It's not a bad start but I'd follow it with "I gotta know right now, before we go any further do you love me?"

That's pretty much the biggest thing I've got from this subreddit. It gets a lot of flak from the wider reddit userbase but really this is one of the most helpful pieces of advice, despite being painfully obvious in hindsight.

OP let me tell you a story to make you feel better. It was the middle of a long night of drinking and I had both eaten a lot of food because I knew I'd be drinking a lot and I had been drinking all day. During a game of flip cup, I downed a cup, flipped it (to win no less!) and then immediately excused myself to walk over to some bushes and vomit up the contents of my stomach. I quickly went back to my room to brush my teeth and then joined up with my friends again, where I proceeded to make out…

I usually just kiss her. The one time I mentioned it before we kissed we were dancing and looking into each other's eyes and I said "If you keep looking at me like that I'm going to have to kiss you" and she did and so I did.

Usually just something along the lines of "Here, lemme get your number" as I hand them my phone. It seems to work. Especially after hooking up with them - 100% success rate there. Granted that was college but the principles are generally the same I've found.

Hmm..fair points all. I guess next time I'll just take the extra 30 seconds to get the number. Oh well, can't be living in the past.

We're all just acquaintances until we get to know each other better. I wouldn't wait too long. She gave you her number and it's the weekend. Go do something.

Dinner. Cafeteria. Or some campus play/activity/whatever. If it's going well invite her back to watch a movie. Sexile your roommate and progress from there.

No, it makes complete sense. Especially the part about getting numbers and not calling. I do that shit all the time. Mostly because when I go out again I'm looking for someone new to chase. Sometimes they'll text me and we'll hook up or something but sometimes I just lose interest and don't give it a second thought unless she contacts me. Like the chick in the OP said, it's all part of the game.

I wouldn't even call it oneitis if he's never talked to the girl.

My friend and I tried two different approaches on the same girl one drunken night. We were dared by a third friend and each given a line to work with. He went up to the mother and said something like "Is this your daughter, she's beautiful, etc" but he also had a girlfriend at the time and this was more of an intellectual exercise so he ejected after a few minutes. I went up to her while she was sitting with her mother and said something like "Hi, I think you're gorgeous, want to dance?" And it …

CYC helped me a lot. It pretty much just boils down to being a person that people want to be around. Be fun, dominant, confident, and a leader. Give value to everyone. Make connections with everyone. It helps if you're out with any social group, not just in college.

"What are you up to?" is textbook booty call. If you send a text after 2am you're just looking for some tail.

Don't do crazy shit, work on talking to women and attracting them so that you can pick up women in your hometown without "breaking the social circle." There's nothing wrong with casually dating a couple people you live near. It will be far better for you if you can learn how to pick up the women around you. Your excursion will do you no long term good if you can't apply what you've learned when you're back home.

Classes. A lot of colleges offer them. Or just go and find someone who knows a lot and ask them to show you a few moves. Youtube will also show you a lot of the basic steps.

Dancing. You get to meet a ton of chicks and ladies love a man with moves. Plus kino is easy and you can ramp it up from there.

Solid points on all counts and I appreciate it a lot dude. But living anywhere other than New York is really out of the question which is why I'm focused on finding a job there. New York is the best place to train for the Olympics in my sport so I'd rather spend another month looking for a job out there than be committed to another city for a while and have it interfere with my training. Other cities just don't have the facilities or the competition required to improving to Olympic level. Being …

Professionally - Just graduated and having a hard time motivating myself to apply to jobs. It's not the rejection that I'm afraid of but more of the "Why bother?" since 90% of the places won't respond. I'm getting a bunch of offers from Boston based companies but I'm planning on living in NYC for the foreseeable future so they're not very helpful. Athletically - It's the off season so I'm taking it a little slow. Not working out as hard or practicing as much. I've put on a lot of weight that wil…

No, and don't give a fuck if she thinks that. If you want someone to be nice to you, the least you can do is be civil back to them. Ignoring someone until they have something you need/want is not how you should treat people, and I would not associate with someone who acted like that.

She's ignored the topic of lunch more than once. She just wants the book. Whether you give it to her is up to you but I wouldn't hold my breath for a date.

No, no, it's not rapey. You're misunderstanding me, bro. 'Cause if the girl said no, then the answer obviously is no. The thing is that she's not gonna say no, she'd never say no...because of the implication.

Just spent the weekend watching all of Keys to the VIP. Biggest thing I learned watching most of the guys was what not to do. It was more funny and "Oh god what the fuck are you doing" than "Hey that was pretty good." Cajun was pretty good though.
