and how she almost got away with it Dixon walked free from the Geelong Magistrates' Court without conviction on a one-year community corrections order that requires her to perform 100 hours of unpaid work She did get away with it.

Hateful women make hateful men make hateful women. Hope the boy finds the loving family he deserves and loses the biological tyrants asap. Realistically though he'll probably be another child of the state.

Honestly quite surprised censorship is being celebrated this intensely here. I don't see how mass censorship of anyone slightly in the public eye through mob cancel campaigns or fear driven self-censorship is going to be at all beneficial for men in the long run.

I don't think we're forced to play by the rules of the perpetually offended, and when we choose to, we're validating the frankly unreasonable position that subjective hurt warrants objective retaliation. putting women in the same position as men to direct them towards improvements for all I can appreciate the sentiment, but I think this also relies on us living in an ideal world. Normalising cancelling and using it against others that have defended it might make individuals that it happens to re…

You can find the footage that got her fired yourself, I found it in some other reddit thread. I disagree with cancel culture, what does that make me? Am I supposed to get on board with damaging careers because the majority can't control their emotions? I suppose I have to, because if I don't and I talk about it, I might get fired. What's the endgame here? We all think and say the same thing because navigating society becomes impossible if we don't? What she said here is comically tame compared t…

Does that not reek of sinking down to their level though? This woman isn't some hypocritical feminist activist, she's a Tekken player. I'm not sure playing into this system of encouraging everyone to have a thin skin and ruin livelihoods for not catering to it is doing anyone any favours. I reckon the only way cancel culture loses it's power is the majority learning from the typically masculine stoicism and not trying to actually hurt people because they chose to be hurt by anothers words.

Interestingly, the Japanese word for human rights is ‘jinken,’ but in regards to video games, the term means an item or character that players need to have. This has resulted in a bit of debate over her true intentions. An edgy joke lacking context and jumping over a language barrier, where she also said the same thing about women with small breasts. The FGC is built around rivalries and shit-talking. 1 on 1 combat tends to attract big personalities. You sanitise the FGC and it loses much of its…

Reddit unfortunately doesn't have communities for everything, more like echo-chambers. People crowd together with those that share the same views as them, when dissent occurs, discussion in many places is actively discouraged and majority tyranny takes over. You would think subreddits with names that encourage asking questions wouldn't do this, but they do. Many subreddits have block lists that automatically keep out anyone who's ever participated in subreddits that go against their views. Needl…

He should take legal action. He won't, cause he'd lose, but at least that loss would be on public record. The more men the justice system publicly fails, and the more prolific these men are, the harder the problem becomes to ignore. Those that want a narrative of male monsters and female victims to continue are counting on the right victims to stay silent. Your victim being a man, or a celebrity, is no excuse. Keep your hands to yourself.

There's definitely a level of subjectivity here and placebo given prior experience. I treat early dates pretty casually, neither party should really be trying to impress or win over the other, that way I can be myself and the banter can naturally flow if we share a connection. I always split expenses since I think financial equality is only fair. Questions that exist to determine a longer term viability are necessary but job interview dates are a chore so i'm mindful not to overdo it and hope th…

One of the biggest advantages of being a bi bloke is not being beholden to the straight male dating game. I just don't have the confidence or energy to jump through the same hoops I see a lot of my straight mates do. That's not to say dating men doesn't have it's challenges, it certainly does, but those first few dates when you're feeling someone out are just so less stressful. Not even at the fault of women or praise of men, it's just this whole power imbalance where both sexes feel like they'r…

I've watched up to S4E5 and to be honest I haven't noticed much of what you're describing. I'd be interested in hearing the most egregious examples you've noted from S4 so far (cept for Eps 6 and 7 plz). !Wendy has more political & emotional manipulation skills than Marty, but from the get-go he's been the stoic glue that's kept the family (and almost all allied with him) alive and well. Wendy's abusive behaviour has driven the son out of the family unit, who due a strong father figure has had n…

I wish I could say your brothers across the pond don't have to deal with this, but unfortunately here in Aus we're just as backward. Our programs here are for "women who have experienced abusive behaviour from their partners" and "men who have been hurtful and intimidating towards partners". NZ & Aus are great places to live if you're an abuser and a woman. If you're a man, just keep your head down, get out swiftly, silently, and don't become a target. If you do, you'll have nowhere to turn to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
