as simple as leaving their house to stay somewhere else until they receive some form of compensation. the type of shit someone says before asking if you've been skiing this year or have a country house.

IRL no one really cares. It is only communities such as those on Reddit that are so aghast when it comes to age gaps. At the very least it is an Americanism.

Listening to women is what made me 'redpill' You can't be in a group chat with a female majority and remain bluepill, they are too brutal XD

I feel like this may just be some form of mild 'cope' (as they call it) due to your personal living and dating choices.

The OP seems to really struggle with hypothetical situations in the comments. To the point where I wonder how they would feel if they didn't have breakfast this morning.

This is some out of touch 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps' nonsense. The landscape and experience of dating has changed far beyond the realms of adaptability. When my dad was dating he just had to be better than the other guys in his village or the local nightclub. Men of this generation are having to compete on the national and global market for those same women. There are also the many issues that women face with these changes but I can only really speak from what I have seen in my own ex…

Apologies, I was using hyperbole to convey my point. Although I'm sure there is plenty of anecdotal evidence, this is ultimately the internet where we can all make up whatever we want and call it our truth. In this age of social media and online dating the pool of potential suitors is near inexhaustible when compared to the days when my parents were dating. it is just the nature of things these days.

I'm in the UK and the obsession is rife over here for some reason. Most girls when asked will say the same them in regards to the man they want; 'Tall, dark and handsome'. When I first started using tinder the obsession was 6ft. Now, due to inflation, it is 6'2 XD I'm not saying this carries over too much into real life interactions but on social media and dating apps the preference is definitely there.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 09:41 AM

Swiping apps like Tinder etc that purposefully hide matches etc until you buy gold should be investigated by trading standards.

My friends are predominantly female so I have seen my fair share of tinder, bumble, snapchat, facebook messenger, instagram dms, tiktok messages and plain old text messages. And it never fails to blow my mind, the sheer volume of attention the average (by their own admission) girl gets via social media. Plus anyone in a group chat with girls will often get to see the screenshots of very attractive guys shooting their shot. I know my experiences don't account for much but I know that the only gir…

Women are not a "swipe away from hooking up with a cute guy" unless they are above average themselves. Even if they match with a bunch of cute guys, lots of them are married, or have no game and turn her off when talking. You'd have to be hella ugly to have this perception.

So many people don't have social media. And many of those who do just use it for recaps of a tv show where they don't even show their face, livestreams mostly of the cool plant they identified in Appalachia, people going snow-camping exclusively wrapped up in ten layers of hoods and sleeping bags. How about those under the age of 58?

Yep, I always find the cognitive dissonance of female friends bizarre. They want a guy who is 6ft, 8+ inches long, has a glut of social media followers (but without being that 'into' social media ofc) and a well paying job. I don't think girls ARE sleeping with anyone. They love off validation and the internet supplies that tenfold. I know plenty of girls from work and my hobby. Their standards are terrifying. Bear in mind that I am in my late twenties and many of these girls are on the cusp of loosing their looks....yet they have no idea it's about to happen so they carry on waiting for whatever Instagram has told them defines the archetypal 'perfect man' for that year. I am often reminded of this old car (a lan…

I wasn't looking to even meet a girl, just hopefully build some friend groups and go from there. 5'11 gang reporting in. Always say I'm 6ft but I haven't 'measured myself in ages' that way if they want to delude themselves into thinking I'm higher they can go ahead. I have long legs which generally gives me the appearance of being taller than I am. Learnt the hard way that you have to lie about this stuff after a girl ghosted me after I told her I was 5'11. Girls get fake tits, butts, lips, make up and snapchat filters. I think the issue, as a guy is, is the context of her promiscuity. If she slept about every time she hit a bump in the road of her life as a means of feeling better about herself then she might fall on another guys dick every time the relationship hits a rocky patch. From what I have seen it's because a man will generally go for what he likes, with a minute threshold before he will lower his standards to better achieve the outcome of getting with someone. A woman goes for what will bring the most practical benefits and/or look good for her social standing. I know there are plenty of grey areas in between but that's the broad stroke of what I have seen from having mainly female friends.

One of the BEST things you can do is get a couple female friends who are comfortable talking around you. Any redpill advice from a guy has NOTHING on overhearing girls talk. If you're an employer looking for a candidate you are wary of soneone who has had a lot of jobs and frequently changes them. Why risk being another job they decide to ditch when a slightly better one is offered in their dm's next week. Better not to chance it and go for someone who is looking for a longterm career. However they may be fine for a part time night shift. The same applies to men and women looking for partners.

I have been described as 'above average in looks' so to speak. Although that rarely equates into relationships/sex/luck with women so relax before you start downvoting. The girls/women who flirt the most? Almost always the ones in relationships. Because, in hindsight, they were looking to test the waters before leaping in. Ignoring the obvious hyperbole, this has made me paranoid over the years. Because while I may have seemed more appealing THAT day of the week there are a million better lookin…

pretty sure around 10% of the women are men too these days.

As others have said. For the hotter girls its easier to understand so you cut your losses and move on. For the 'average' girl you end up dwelling on the 'why' a lot more. You and her are well within each others leagues. Matching hobbies and interests etc......so you end up partly intrigued as to why they won't entertain a date and the next thing you know you've fallen down the friendzone rabbit hole.

Advice for women: Be there. Eye contact and limited conversation optional.

Most of my friends are female, mainly due to my hobbies and workplace. Honestly, it can be kinda lonely spending time with them a lot of the time as they are so invested in their phones. They'll invite you out for a drink then spend the entire night glued to their phone to see if the guy(s) of that week have messaged them back yet or if the correct guys have viewed their insta story. Also, just delete tinder. I've seen enough of their phones to know you are just one in a couple dozen she may be …

It's a matter of rarity I guess. For the same reason if we sat down and thought about diamonds we'd realise how daft it is we pay through the nose for a shiny rock.

Aoos like tinder/bumble have inflated many girls self worth. So they start searching for guys they consider to be more 'exclusive' such as 6'4 or packing major man meat.

Why do I give a fuck? Less people on an already overpopulated planet? Good.

Dating apps are little more than a way for girls to harvest Chad's, validation and Instagram followers.

That’s the thing. Automation could be fantastic for mankind so long as we’re not breeding ourselves silly.

This aggravated me on so many levels. Not least because with 7.6 billion people on the planet already we hardly need 6 more from one person. Then I think of all the government support she’ll be getting. Urgh. Everything about this is awful.

Honestly not too fussed. The guy was moronic.

Not limited to this planet? Tell you what you can go on ship B then. We may colonise other planets in the future (if we don’t nuke ourselves into oblivion first) but there will never be a mass migration, it would never be feasible.

Don’t be obtuse. We live on a planet of finite resources. Food, gas, coal, oil, living space etc. Why do you assume that I want people of any race to overbreed? If we all try go out breed each other it’s just a race to the bottom. This has nothing to do with being a ‘soy’ it’s purely numbers. Bring on the downvotes, my dudes.

Good on you! 7.6 billion of us on earth already it’s time to slow down on the sheer number of children we’re vomiting out.

Are you self employed? If so then it should be moderately safe. If you work for someone else and value your job then the juice is not worth the squeeze.

If you live in America the risk is far higher. So you’d be stupid to not be a little paranoid. Always keep an eye out for escape routes, weird kids and the song ‘pumped up kicks’

I agree. You have to live and make stupid mistakes before you can ever dream of learning from them. If you set out with a certain mindset gleaned from the internet it will just be contrived.

Travel back in time and buy a string of properties for a pittance then wait for them to increase x20 in value or rent them out to a generation who largely are unable to afford housing if their own;) Joking of course, I’m eager to see how some people have made their money.

Who cares. There’s already too many humans on the planet anyway. 7.5ish billion of us.

Uk here. I deleted tinder then downloaded it again. When I rejoined I was getting about 5 matches a day steady and there were a few 8/9s in there(as a make this felt pretty good as I knew what it was like to get 1-2 matches a week) then about a week later.....it was like someone had turned the tap off. 1-2 matches a week and nothing I’d rate above a 5. It just felt so sudden. Not a gradual decline so I’d be very surprised if there isn’t a vast, hidden algorithm designed to make people buy boosts…
