There's negative perceptions about hiring women and their reliability - hiring a man you can refuse to give raises to over his lifetime is more valuable than a woman who may leave after a couple years for motherhood, then have to rehire for at competitive market rates.

I feel like the use of the phrase "chemical castration" has been a poor descriptor from the jump - it implies both punishment and permanence, neither of which are accurate here. If a trans kid decides they want to detransition they just stop taking the blockers. Based on my limited understanding, one could be talking about the same procedure, it's just not conveying intent.

It's this kind of shit that makes it impossible to be taken seriously outside of Men's Rights type areas. It's awful that circumcision is considered absolutely normal and people just do it on a whim, but I can't begin to pretend it's on the same level as access to abortion. If you've ever seen Revenge of the Nerds, there's a scene where Lewis steals Stan's costume to get Betty to have sex with him. That'd probably be the easiest example. If you consented to blindfolded sex with Person A, and they just traded places with Person B hiding in the closet, that would also count. There's also this article about a twin using his twin's identity to get a woman in bed.
