BUT, if we were to get a financial abortion, I think the idea isn't THAT bad, but ONLY if we make sure that the children get the support they need anyway. I agree with you in theory, after all it's hardly fair to the child to be raised by a single mother with no support. But.... I wonder if this scary scenario wouldn't lower the number of kids born to single mothers. And if the reduction in kids is high enough, I can imagine scenarios where it would be worth it, despite the worse life for remain…

Having been in this kind of situation myself. Just be respectful of all parties involved and you'll be totally fine.

Fun fact. Every Mario song ever written was in the key of C. Edit: the songs still used black keys though Last Edit: I'm not sure this rule holds for the later mario games like Galaxy. I'm listening to gusty gardens and I'm not sure it's in C major.

There are plenty of things I WANT but know that I can't have at this time. This is theoretically true, but it's not how 98% act when they really want something. Please see: women (and men) stuffing their faces with unhealthy food.

Who cares about others when there is someone I can shove my dick into right in front of me! Christ. The feelings of the man being cheated on were crushed long before the girl ACTUALLY cheated on him. He just hadn't known yet. Anything else are just obliviousness and lies he tells himself. EDIT: And to be clear, I definitely believe cheating is an awful thing, just that the third party doesn't deserve any of the blame.
/r/seduction18/10/15 10:03 PM

Firstly, I think a lot of the issue stems from the fact that culturally we don't really blame women for anything. Men are expected to take charge and take blame. Well I think blame should 99% be placed on the cheating partner in this case, no matter what gender. And secondly, the reality is that the girl doesn't even have to tell you the truth at all. She could simply lie and tell you she is single. So really if we really hammer down the rule that men shouldn't cheat with women who have boyfrien…

Yep. Marriages fail all the time because one or both partners give up trying to be attractive for the other. Seduction at its core isn't about tricks, it's about continual improvement.

So I must be broken then? Because I lift, am successful in school, volunteer, run an organization, am not socially retarded (formerly in a public speaking club), good looking, well dressed, am going to be traveling throughout Europe in a few months... These things are the first step, and are very important! So it's great that you have these under control. With that said, are you happy with your life? Are you confident with yourself with or without women? Because for just about everybody, happine…

Ideally, career, friends, hobbies, and fitness should be stable and healthy before you meet a girl. This is so important. You always need to be attracted to yourself first. If you can't do that, it makes no sense trying to get others to do it.
/r/seduction13/02/15 07:08 PM

I'd wager the trick is to demonstrate value first, as part of the whole push pull thing (again, not an expert by any measure).
/r/seduction27/01/15 03:54 PM
4

Well I'm not an expert, but it sounds like OP is suggesting you do parts of both. Carrying good conversation and showing some interest is important too- you can't just ignore her the entire night obviously.

you seem set on making her out to be a bad guy here. I'm doing no such thing. Your original statement was that of praise- that she should be commended for being upfront with the guy. I really don't think the girl was honest or upfront. She could have went to the hockey game, to dinner, drinks, probably on his dime and all with the intention to keep him as a friend but never say it directly. Instead she... So you're saying since she didn't deceive him for the purposes of money, that she should be…
/r/seduction26/01/15 11:18 PM

"I just want to be friends" This isn't really honesty though. This is circus and games. The sheer fact that she responded a week later just confirms what I'm saying.
/r/seduction26/01/15 10:29 PM

GIRL: "I just want to be friends" You:I think the girl should get some credit for being upfront with him instead of stringing him to the friendzone I think you and read two different posts.

I think the distinction is not trying to look cool, but rather trying to be genuinely interested in the things she has to say.
/r/seduction15/06/14 08:01 AM
3

Yes! The purpose of the question is really just to gauge your confidence and security. Most guys simply fold under the pressure and immediately start reassuring the girl, but often this is not the way to go, as she isn't looking for reassurance in the first place.

Sorry, my answer is terribly worded. What people on the subreddit call them are shit tests, though I dislike the name.
/r/seduction03/05/14 10:13 PM
2

They just laugh and forget they even asked. You forget that people (girls do this a lot) ask lots of indirect questions where the right answer isn't straight forward. So by answering in a joking manner, for many girls this IS the right answer; so they aren't forgetting, because really you've already answered the "question".
/r/seduction03/05/14 09:02 AM

Everybody does things like this. Everybody uses things to gauge members of the opposite sex, and this girl did something that's pretty socially common, so I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

Some form of establishment needs to go down. Agreed. If you don't engage the group, you lower your own value in all their eyes.
/r/seduction28/02/14 06:44 AM

I think the author is assuming here that the girl is part of a group conversation going on. So IF that's the case, you can't just ignore the group and laser in on one person.

No, but REALLY? At this point, escalate it even further. Ask them if it's weird for them to be flirting with 11 year olds, and should I feel uncomfortable? There's no reason for you to break down and tell them how old you are. Because they don't really give a shit about your answer, they just want to make you give in and fold.

You say you're fine with this state of affairs, but you're here asking for advice. If it truly doesn't bother you, then it seems that this sub would have nothing of value to offer you. Maybe he's fine with it, but wants reassurance that this happens and is normal. OP's case doesn't seem out of the ordinary, the same thing happened over time to me. The sheer fact that you worried about saying/doing the wrong thing in the first place, means that you failed. Just do whatever the fuck you please, (i.e. boobs? yes ma'am), and if she has a problem? Who cares. She'll respect you more for having your own opinions then for trying to please her.

This should be at the top. With proper kino, it happens naturally, you won't even have to say a word. Kino allows people to transition perfectly from each stage of flirting. And without it, it's really awkward. Can you imagine saying "I want to have sex with you" after not having even touched her once? Of course not! Asking someone to kiss them without the right process isn't much better.
/r/seduction17/04/13 05:49 AM

Then why are girls attracted to guys that have been with lots of girls? If you play it off right, it won't matter. Example: She figures out you're familiar with routine, so you suggest that she try and use some PUA on you. Critique here, etc. make it work.
/r/seduction28/12/12 07:34 AM

I would find it hard to imagine a girl having a large negative reaction if they realized a guy was using PUA style on them. Why would they?

I tried the whole online thing for a little bit and it was a complete failure / waste of time Maybe I just have high standards I'm guessing it's easier for you because you're older and looking for a different demographic of woman than I am. I think that a lot of the 18-22 year old girls on there are only really there for attention. I think I found your problem right here.
/r/seduction27/11/12 04:22 AM

Like some have said, just pursue other interests. Or if you want to keep it going with this girl, you have to call her out on this. Something like "Oooh, I bet you think you're being quite the cool-kid being purposely vague. : P"

a good rule to go by is that the confident man doesn't put himself down, even as a joke. I don't feel like this is a good rule at all. I've known plenty of confident people that simply don't care how people perceive them. It didn't stop girls from flocking to them either.
/r/seduction03/10/12 01:25 AM
2

never put yourself down with something like "I'm terrible in bed". NEVER put yourself down ever, even as a joke. This is at best a neutral move. Why would you want to do something that gets you no points or loses your points? If I make a joke, it's because I think it's funny, and I get enjoyment out of it. Not everything needs to be geared towards fucking people, you know.
/r/seduction02/10/12 11:07 PM
2

Yeah, same thing with my hobbies. Board games/ Ping pong/ Video games etc. The key is not to pull it out of nowhere, but rather to wait until it is relevant to the conversation. Everybody is attracted to passionate people, so be passionate about whatever you like! People will respect you for it even if they don't have that hobby in common with you.
/r/seduction25/08/12 09:48 PM

I can't ever share without feeling like a douche. Are you worried people will judge you for it? If someone judges you for liking something, then fuck them! You're better off without them in your life.

If I find out a girl I'm hitting on has a boyfriend, I leave her the fuck alone. I feel like this doesn't give the girl or their relationship enough credit/respect. Let's say for example I'm dating a girl for 3 months now. Why should I be worried paranoid if some guy is flirting with her? I'd rather do my best to ignore it and be confident that she will remain with me because I'm funnier/smarter/whatever. I extend this logic to myself when flirting with other women. If they are in a stable and h…

But please talk to him about this, first. He might just need a good kick in the balls to realize what he's doing is bad/foolish because he used to be/still is anti-social.
/r/seduction03/05/12 08:28 AM
6

As someone who is naturally "low frequency," I can agree that this attracts long term relationship material more than anything. But more than that, people across the board: men, women, old young, will respect you more, and you'll have more push/pull with people. I'd say it's the way to go, but not if you want to get laid right away.
/r/seduction03/05/12 08:26 AM
10

The fact that I know that is a good indication that I need to spend more time here. Not at all! Girls don't mind random hobbies or odd tendencies. They care who you are, though, and if you aren't comfortable with who you are, then it doesn't matter if you skydive while saving children from burning buildings all while dressing fashionably.

Right, but I'm saying that men want sex so much more on a whole than they want love, and women vice versa. I feel that it's enough so that the author didn't create a false dichotomy.
/r/seduction12/02/12 08:22 AM
1

But take serious issue with this statement: "What do guys want? Sex. And a girl who gives out sex left-and-right is a slut. What do girls want? Love." Both sexes want companionship and sex, and both are (to a certain extent) attracted to those who are stingy with them. Guys and girls also want lots of other things, sure. But as far as I can see, sex/love seem to often be the focus and the driving factor behind engagements with the opposite sex.
/r/seduction12/02/12 04:17 AM
2

The notion that guys who fall in love are somehow "easy" or prone to do it with anyone is just complete flotsam of a shipwrecked analogy. I guess I wasn't reading it the same way. I don't think she was trying to say that falling in love will always lead to unattraction, rather that when it happens too quickly or without enough work from the female end, that it leads to unattraction.

If it were me (goofy type), I'd say something light-hearted but silly, like, "Ah, you're right. It's probably because I have too many unicorns in my diet" or something equally stupid. Saying something like this doubles as a) showing them that you are confident in your image regardless and b) a test to see how she reacts. Remember that you are looking for compatibility with other girls as much as they are towards you.

Its disrespectful if the girl is obviously with her boyfriend. It shows complete disregard for their relationship. If you take this to the logical extreme, you wouldn't ever want to say anything negative to the girl, because it might show disrespect towards her. But you know what really pisses me off? When I talk to a girl for a few minutes and things seem well, and she randomly drops she has a bf in the conversation. It wasn't about faking interest, it was about answering the question in a confident way. The OP pretty much gave up before things even started, and that reflected itself in his answers.

Yes, it was douche move, but... But what? You made yourself look like an asshole, as well as other atheists out there. Do you want our congratulations?

But it makes me feel a little like a phony - like I'm just posing as someone capable of approaching. Most of us are like that. You aren't alone!

Pretty much any response is going to annoy you if delivered in the wrong tone of voice.

It's not about confidence, it's about realizing that sex is not the point here. Guys tend to have this image of sex as being this all-important event, and they yearn for it, and it shows.

My life is like the twilight zone. Was gonna say 'like the friend zone' but that works too.

Does AMOGing always have negative connotation?

What does a horse shoe do? Are there any horse socks? Is anybody listening to me? What? Haha. Is this a test to see if people actually read your post?

It's about being attractive. And looks are only a portion of the much larger picture.

Tangential rant: For example, I have a friend who reads a lot of PUA stuff, but he takes it very seriously and categorically--he used to be pretty chill, but now he tries to "AMOG" people constantly and it gets really obnoxious. I think he's thinking of himself just "acting alpha" though. Alphas don't have to be dicks to their friends. That would annoy the fuck out of me, because my personality generally dominates group activities anyway. What I see when betas try to lead is that they do it very…

If it were me I'd ask why they don't have a girlfriend if they directed the question at me first.

"Does that really matter?" "Do you care?" "What about you?" I feel like these answers are really defensive and wouldn't come across terribly well. this means that this is probably a stupid question to answer and will make you lose point not matter the answer There is no shit test that you can't pass. (As far as I'm aware)

If a girl turns down an invite, I usually let them make the next move. I feel like inviting them 2 or 3 times can be seen as needy, so I tend to avoid it unless there are other circumstances.

and I generally have no interest in talking with someone with whom I have nothing in common. This is my problem too. I mean, statistically, the chance that after talking with someone I'll want to see them again, or whatever, is pretty low, so I get discouraged and bored, to the point of not wanting to do approaches because most girls are bleh.

If it were me, I'd have texted less. The OP is right it does kind of come across as needy.

I've known guys like this, and it sounds like they are (badly) vying for positions of power and respect. Show them that you are still in command, and that they'll get neither respect nor power. Put them in their place by ignoring them witty retorts (only use this if it's good) explaining logically why they are a dumbass (sarcasm) commend them on their brilliant comments, compliment them on their clever and insightful mind etc There are different ways to handle it, I've used them all at one point…
