I struggle to fathom how this dynamic is even possible. I don't know if how I view it is weird, but I don't see fucking my partner as something I get from them. I see it as something we both mutually want. Why would a man accept a setup like this??

I feel like social media, excessive dating apps, and porn create this phenomenon for men and women. I had a type before, but as i got off the internet, it changed to what was in front of me.

It doesn't matter if you get the percentage 50/50; dating apps still distort reality heavily for most people. It would be better to meet someone in real life or stay single.

Women in general don't need apps to meet men if they are socially connected.

I mean, honestly, there's a million people out there. I would want my partner to connect with someone they are completely sexually compatible with, so I could do the same.

Agreed. I think a lot of women don’t want to feel shallow for rejecting most men over lack of attraction, so the rejection gets reframed around the approach, timing, intent, confidence, “creepy vibes” instead.
