The first rule in r/Feminism is that all discussion must be pertaining to females. This is also true for r/MensRights . This doesn’t mean that feminists are not for equality, rather the subs find discussion of the opposite sex irrelevant.

This isn’t MGTOW. This is a sub devoted to Men’s rights.

Some people on this sub share discriminatory sentiments towards women. Nobody appreciates nuance. “There were a few bad apples, so we burned down the farm”.

Men living shorter and lower quality lives is a matter for discussion in r/Mensrights . Understanding why this is, and educating people on what can be done is important for men.

You can’t expect a rational argument without a rational presentation of information.

The only stigma that I’ve seen is from older people. They stigmatize any sort non-formal positive interaction between two people.

Consent given under false pretense may be coercion, but is not rape. Legal action may be possible depending on where your friend resides.

If you actually want to target advertisers you need support from women, because as others have stated, women are the majority of the market.

Why does diversity matter? The criticism is focused on people’s discriminatory comments aimed at women. If anything is to be done, there should be better moderation or more people condemning the behavior that is bringing this sub negative attention.

Men get an opinion. They do not make the decision, however. “My body, my choice” is a motto that developed in response to legislators making decisions about what people can and can not do with their own body, in this case, abortion.

Human trafficking (labor). Labor trafficking is the overwhelming majority of human trafficking in most regions, and disproportionately affects men. Though you’d be surprised because sex trafficking is the only trafficking you ever really hear about. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_trafficking “Of these, 14.2 million (68%) were exploited for labour, 4.5 million (22%) were sexually exploited, and 2.2 million (10%) were exploited in state-imposed forced labour.” But the news only covers sex t…

Most people believe in equality, but they don’t care enough to join a cause or read about it with any frequency. There are more compelling motivators than benevolence, such as hatred, that lure many people onto these forums that seek to do good, but the “fight for rights” is a facile pretense for venting frustration and breeding toxicity. I could date somebody from FDS, but it obviously wouldn’t be my first choice when looking for a date.

Men aren’t smarter than women and women aren’t smarter than men. Every measurement of intelligence is flawed at some level. The most you can say with the current research is that “by the parameters we believe to show such a difference, there is inconclusive and conflicting evidence”. The only consistent result you’ll find is that men tend to have more variation in IQ, so higher IQs and lower IQs, but probably the same average.

Better grades don’t make you smarter. Maybe women are more diligent in school. Diligence is way more favorable for good grades than intelligence.
