Impossible is the first answer that came to my head. But actually, the truth is even darker than that. They do love men the way men love women, my man. But wanna know what? They only love so intensely only a very specific group of men. Good-looking, assertive, dominant, whatever, the point is, it's not us. This is even darker because it means someone else is getting it. It's not that no one receives the love and affection of women. It's that you don't get it. It's that I don't get it. It's that …

Let's just agree to disagree then. Honestly I don't feel like discussing or like this is going anywhere. I'll just say though, our definitions of "nice guy" probably don't match. I am talking about the ones of us who are honest and transparent about our sex life (including you being the first time if you really are), but then still get rejected and seen as creepy. Just. For. Being. Honest. I don't feel like you've ever acknowledged that many of you do that, although again, hopefully not all. You…

What? And here I thought we were having a conversation. Your ideas about this are born from not accepting your mistakes and not accepting that you brought this upon yourself. That's the reality from which you and women are escaping from.

I am not sure that many people have told me that I am very attractive but yeah I've been through experiences like that. Yeah according to most people I knew (I have cut contact with all, not healthy to spend time with them), I was going to triumph with girls, yeah I can remember being told that at a younger age. But "I am looking for a MAN", "Damn, what a disappointment you ended up being", "You were good enough to kill some time but I have to move on to other better and more long-term options, …

Depressingly and painfully accurate. (including that -1 in Whatsapp messages)

Yeah, you have empathy and that's why you give to others, I hope you can learn that pretty basic lesson one day, I believe it'd do you good.

I feel the same way towards your views, which still seem contradictory to me. I suggest you start practicing some empathy for others and stop thinking so much about yourself for a little bit because that line of thinking is usually the result of being stuck in certain parts of the Internet.

I feel the same as you in that girls overlook flaws in their partners and honestly, I think they are treated like #&%#! in some cases, even worse than that in others. I mean, just to be clear, my point is not to blame women. But you know what the problem is? There's like a TON of us out there who want to be your boyfriend and treat you nicely, ask you questions (what makes you uncomfortable what makes you comfortable hey are you ok with me putting my hand in your shoulder etc. etc.), and who wou…

Thank you Sisstasia, I wish you well too. And by the way, this is an unsolicited advice, but I get this impression that what you really want is to defend women, to balance out the hatred towards them by spreading hate to men in this sub or by justifying why women react the way they do, in other words, I get this impression that you are trying to generate empathy for women. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, I am not judging, but my unsolicited advice is, just be transparent with it.…

I get that you are saying that everyone can put in effort and try. But you are also saying that sometimes you try your whole life and you never get what you want. Are you saying life is all about trying, no matter if you'll get what you want or not? In other words, just do hard work for the sake of doing hard work, don't expect anything, don't interfere with anyone else's results, just focus on yourself and give it your best shot? If that's what you mean, my point still holds. Why be on the side…

Ok, those are your opinions. We can just agree to disagree on whether there is a catastrophe or not and whether stating that life is about luck is an excuse or not. But I want to say that I agree that life is not fair. However, why do we just cross our arms and do nothing about it? Of course, when you are the one with the upper hand, you won't complain about it because if you do you will lose your privileges. And these people with privileges need people without them because otherwise these would…

Honestly, you might think I am lying, but I'd take you seriously. But I'd amend that's because of the empathy I have for other people, and other men probably wouldn't take you seriously, no. But if that's your space, then go ahead. Again, everyone might not see it the same way, but I am personally not trying to achieve massive change through a Reddit subreddit. Maybe raise some awareness, yeah. But my main purpose for being here is feeling understood by other men who "feel" the same way I do, or…

Oh yeah I never said it wouldn't be looked upon that way by other people. But it's still how many of us feel. From a practical/pragmatic point of view, you might say "better keep it to yourselves folks, it won't help anyone". But I, at least, am tired. I want to have at least one space where I can express more or less freely (more or less 'cause, you know, rules, bans and stuff). And then you come and say hostile things about it. I am not talking only about this chain/thread, I am talking about …

It may be a child mentality, but that doesn't mean it isn't spot-on. You know, children might be the wisest in this world. I can agree that no one wants to give anything for free. But why do we have to "earn" stuff? That's non-sense. Yes, we might say nature works that way. But under that rationale, we should all kill each other since that's what animals (nature) do. It just doesn't HAVE to work that way. Why work for stuff, why "earn" life? Come on, think about it. Besides, some of us just don'…

Like, if you want to call it a personality problem, go ahead, be my guest. It still won't change that it's not a personality problem. And yeah I know girls like that too, but many of these girls if not all are too demanding. Like, I get it, you want pleasurable sex, you know what, we men too. But many of us are willing to accept your imperfections, why don't you reciprocate? That's the problem I am talking about. Yeah maybe some do but even if they exist (I am not sure myself but I am open to th…

I didn't say only women were ignoring the truth. And yeah I am owed love and acceptance. If anyone denies to do that, everything that comes with it is their problem. But that's probably too much for some people to understand. We work as a society, we are not just individuals, we depend on one another. Disclaimer, I don't demand these because I noticed people don't want to give them even though they should, but I still believe we all should and we are all owed these. Also, I don't know you but ca…

I am pretty sure I get your point, you want to help by raising awareness about issues that could improve dating for men (let me know if that's not what you meant) but you know what the problem is? You are being just as hateful as everyone else here by invalidating how we feel. Yeah I am being hateful too but how else do you want me and other men to react? I don't want to speak for all but it's hurtful that you think only some men deserve empathy and that "you will never be taken seriously by any…

You could never understand, since you have zero empathy for men. We work so hard and get nothing. You do nothing and get everything (whether you appreciate it or not is an entirely different story). Of course you won't care about what happens to men. It's the same story as always. People who have more don't care about those who don't.

People ignoring the truth of the catastrophe being brought upon on men and mankind as a whole, even trivializing it. Damn. EDIT: I mean the comments, not the post. The post is spot-on.

There can be change, only if other people stopped being so shitty about putting the blame on people like us who have done absolutely nothing wrong and only if they started making themselves responsible for what is their own mistake. But since you clearly don't know what suffering is like anyway, let's just agree to disagree.

And make other people grateful that they are not us. Sadistic, but true.

I want to be surprised and shocked, but I really arent't. It is because no one listens (or cares for that matter) that we suffer in silence. I might as well be talking to a wall right now anyway.

What are you talking about? I reached lonely women plenty of times (more than once) and they either stopped contact after a while or plain ghosted me (some even went to the point of lying to me, cancelling on last moment etc. etc.). And I bet it's the same for most if not all men here. And about conceding to the other gender, again, what are you talking about? Maybe not all men here, but I and others here concede that women have it hard in that they may not find the guy that they want or the rel…

I watched the video, practiced meditation, praying, was a christian, read all kinds of books on psychology and self-love, spent a lot of time on accepting extremely traumatic memories and experiences from my past and I am very familiar with the way of thinking that your life gets better if you do all of these things and more. I still don't agree that social media has anything to do with my belief system. And in my previous comment I meant to say that I don't think you can accomplish your goal of…

I don't get it... if you are so concerned about helping us "find truth and be freed from social media echo chambers", then why are you so aggressive and self-centered? I mean, do you really think any of us WANTS to read YOUR responses?

Like I said in another comment, I don't think going outside the US is going to solve the problem. Women are still women, in the US or anywhere else, it's still the same story. I am talking as someone from South America. You could go to the end of the world, it just won't make any difference.

I don't think moving outside the US is really going to solve the problem, since women are still women in the US and everywhere else. I thought geography made a difference, but it really doesn't. You could go to the end of the world and it'a still the same story.

Same. I don't think there's a real solution other than avoiding interaction as much as possible and just trying to accept that we have unfairly been given this place in life. Of course other people say it's our fault we need to work on our personality we need to take responsibility for our actions and blah blah blah, we haven't done anything to deserve this treatment but they plain and simply just don't care. Other people are too busy living their own lives so they just don't care and I seriousl…

Yeah, in that sense, we are not that different. But it's still infuriating that they lack so much empathy towards us when we are so empathetic towards them.

This. Women know that many of us are suffering and they actually take pleasure in it. It's cruel and dark (and sadistic) but it's also true. Of course, they can't let us know because then they would lose all the privileges they have in society. But you can realize by looking at the difference between what they say and what they actually do.
/r/AllPillDebate14/08/23 01:13 PM

Exactly. If they feel it feels right, then it must be right, right? No.

I am honestly so tired of the "work on your personality" argument. Like that even matters. And besides, if I am one way, I am just that way, why do I have to change to please your standards? And then they say "just be yourself". Gosh, the gaslight.

People who claim "it's not your height" have no idea what being different feels like. A tale as old as time.

It's not what you are doing at all. Many of us have tried all sorts of things. It simply doesn't work for some of us. No matter what other people say, it's out of our control and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it. Some of us are simply incompatible with how the world works. As sad and cruel as that sounds.

Yeah I agree, but the thing is, what is 2k men in around 4 billion men? It's not even 0,05%, it's more like 0,0000005%. So sure, when you gather us all together, we seem like a lot of people, but when you see the bigger picture (i.e the full amount of men), we don't seem as most people anymore. It's a matter of perception in a way, but statiscally speaking and as sad as it may sound (and trust me, I wish it wasn't like this, but accepting things as they are helps me cope with the situation), we …

I always wondered the same thing myself: "What, was I supposed to go through a relationship internship or something?". I mean, why everyone's life looks so #&$%# different to mine? Yeah it's still hard to believe sometimes but it's real, most men had relationships at the young age of 11 (I personally met them when I was in elementary and high school, and I feel certain many of us did too). So it makes sense she feels awkward towards being someone's first girlfriend. The way I see it, the real pr…

I honestly don't know 😔 . Maybe we toyed with people's feelings in past lives and we are now in their place to knows what it feels like? But still, that would be blaming us. And I honestly don't think it's our fault at all. This world already makes us feel too guilty as it is. I just hope this is all just a bad dream and we are all going to wake up soon, though.

Ikr? So many men having so many girls. It's always the same story, really. With money, dating and everything in life. Lots of people winning a lot of money while some can barely find something to eat if even that, lots of men having so many girls while some of us can't even get a date, and the list goes on and on. For someone to win, someone has to lose. Not saying I like it, I actually wish it was a more equal and fair world... but I do believe this is a law under which the whole Universe opera…

Yes, same here. Pay attention, and you will see that every person who says that being alone isn't so bad has at least once in their lives kissed or dated a girl before. I haven't done any of these.
