Also, birth rates are not a global issue. The world is overpopulated especially when you consider the impacts of climate change that are to come.

“More people dating monogamously=more babies” this is false considering the CHOICE to have kids later in adult life or not at all is the reason for low birth rates, not “the dating market” like these pseudo intellectual podcasts will have you believe.

You didn’t even read my comment did you? Because you didn’t address it at all.

Birth rates? You think low birth rates has to do with the “dating market” for men? Dude, take a break from whatever podcasts you listen to.

Can you give examples for each and the problems they have created for men? Genuinely trying to understand the argument as I don’t see it in real life at all myself. I’m a man in Ireland. Thankfully the rights of and general attitudes/expectations of women have greatly improved here over the last few decades(although far from perfect). None of this has been to the detriment of men in any way.

What are the root causes?

I’m all for welcoming vulnerable dialogue, but Chris Williamson’s podcast is the last thing I would recommend to a male or female suffering. Pseudo intellectual and narrow minded is how I would describe Chris, projecting his own insecurities on to the world and assuming every man shares his narrow view of the world, which they absolute don’t.

All this while you could be producing studies that refute my claims.

Yeah, and literally all of the studies are highly flawed and draw ridiculous conclusions. Which is why it is considered as thrash by serious scientists. It’s the lowest common denominator style stuff, it appeals to people unwilling to deal with their own insecurities.

Yes I have, and that’s my entire point, there is zero evidence. It’s what’s known as “just so” science. Garbage.
/r/AllPillDebate01/11/23 05:08 PM

No, because it’s literally nonsense. Not factual. Zero evidence. Need I say anymore?

“Ugly fat land whales”. It’s always the insecure guys who hate women who believe in nonsense evolutionary psychology.

Take a break from the internet, particularly from listening to pseudo intellectuals talking about thrash science topics like hypergamy.

But he’s not focusing on the problem at all. He’s making it seem like the world is the problem, using extremely weak science to indicate how humans are wired and why that creates problems for men in the modern world. Not all men feel like he does. Yet he thinks it’s scientific fact that they do.

I don’t think there’s any issue with talking about your insecurities. That wasn’t my point. The problem Chris doesn’t realise they are his insecurities, instead he’s trying to make the world/people in to something it’s not rather than focusing on his own internal stuff.

These guys who talk about the “crisis of masculinity” etc. basically lack the self awareness to realise that they are actually just broadcasting their own insecurities to the world.

No, it’s absolute thrash

He’s probably the least self aware person ever. Considers himself to be a psychology wizard but hasn’t realised that he projects his own views on to the world. Kind of like Jordan Peterson in that regard.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
