IT HAS BREACHED CONTAINMENT?!?

The line is consent. It's pretty easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 05:45 PM

yea, but only every now and then, it quickly gets gross if you eat it too often imo
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/25 01:36 AM

Yeah, is that unusual?

I'm very curious what you think a whore is

If only men had the right to vote
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 12:01 AM

I don't know, sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 03:03 PM

I probably wouldn't date a woman who's uncomfortable with me looking at porn, but everyones allowed to have their own boundaries, I don't judge

I've been around enough trans people to know that's not accurate but believe what you want to I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 07:18 PM
2

Idk, I just thought you might have some sort of reason. Generally, people have a reason for thinking/feeling the way they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 07:12 PM
2

That's called survivalship bias. Since you only recognize the ones who are "clockable" as trans, you assume all trans people are clockable. You probably have interacted with a lot more trans people than you realize if you live in a first-world country.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 07:09 PM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 07:05 PM

* I want to play a game... Guess which of these men are cis and which one's are trans Edit: The image doesn't want to attach

Do you find all guys with erectile dysfunction disgusting? That's fucked up

Actually, it is possible for transmen to have a fully functional penis! https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/phalloplasty-for-gender-affirmation

Men tend to be more right leaning, women tend to be more left leaning. It would be pretty strange if the reverse pairing was more common.

Some things don't need an incentive, you just do it because it's right. You strike me as someone who leaves his shopping card in the middle of a parking spot.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 05:20 AM
2

Even if we assume this is accurate, you're comparing apples to bowling balls. I'd rather be falsely accused of rape than actually raped any day.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 05:16 AM
1

I just realized what you meant, you think they're women pretending to be men? Idk, I suppose some people enjoy creative writing. I assume most are just men with different opinions from you
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/25 06:17 PM
1

Not a woman but I bet Luigi Mangione could beat those numbers
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/25 06:11 PM

Same reason you're here I assume, they're here sharing their opinions, probably while bored and taking a shit
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/25 06:09 PM

I think you call that "bluepill" round here. Ya know, half of purplepill...
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/25 06:08 PM
1

What's wrong with the word "y'all"...?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 03:44 PM

But if I don't explain, they might assume I said/did whatever offended them for a worse reason...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 03:41 PM

Just tell them you don't feel like hugging anymore... if they're half decent friends, they'll accept that and leave you be
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:31 PM
1

You disagree...? That some women like sex....???
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:20 PM

Or, crazy idea, maybe some women just enjoy having sex....
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:57 AM

I have zero interest in hookups but I still understand the appeal, sex feels good
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:56 AM

I think most just want those men to stop resenting women on a core level for things that aren't hurting anyone
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:55 AM

Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 05:37 PM
3

A lot of guys on this sub think "husband material" means "not hookup material"
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/25 07:57 PM
1

No, that's above and beyond Not sure, I'd guess yes but only on special occasions Yes, but only when my gf is feeling down/sick/tired/ect, not just out of the blue.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/25 07:54 PM
1

Wouldn't that make your answer "yes" then?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/25 07:50 PM

Any woman? What about a woman with a healthy bmi and a reeeeeaaaaallly ugly face?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 03:05 AM

Do you think you should be shamed? Or do you just find nothing wrong with hypocrisy?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 02:03 PM

What exactly does "wait for sex" mean? Would I stay in a relationship if they didn't immediately have sex with me as soon I as wanted to...? Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/24 02:00 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 09:03 PM

Only 5 years for raping two people?? That's disgusting, people get more time for smoking weed
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 08:58 PM

It's uh really not supposed to taste like that
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 08:55 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 08:54 PM

Hehe holeier than thou Goofy take though, how does having sex make women into "damaged goods"? It takes two to tango after all. Do you think men who have sex are damaged?

Having preferences isn't wrong, calling women who don't meet them "ran through" and "passed around" is. And just having a preference is not the same as marrying someone for that reason. "I like blond hair" is normal, "I married my gf right away because she's blond" is pretty weird, and being uncomfortable about it is fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 06:06 PM

Wow, who said that? I've only ever seen it in a meme

Pretty women dont have to work, nor mostly do. What gives you that idea?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/24 01:43 AM

Hm maybe, he face looks thin though
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/24 01:42 AM

Pretty sure that's just her armor
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 11:28 PM

You do realize that women need to work for money to get food and shelter too, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 11:22 PM

Oh they don't have crust that's interesting, usually the crust is the worst part on mine so I'll give that recipe a try lol

I've made two attempts at lemon squares in the past couple months and both were horrific, how do you do it?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 10:30 PM

For what?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 10:27 PM

This isn't tiktok, you can say ass
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 06:04 PM

Try wearing a bear suit
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 10:59 PM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 10:58 PM

Sure, there's plenty of relationships like that. Arguably my own is and I think it's working pretty well.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 10:57 PM

I'd say they're both morally wrong since it's cheating, but the minor is definitely way worse
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 10:55 PM

How is this even a question..?? Who would be less upset about their partner being a pedo than about cheating with a trans person?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 10:54 PM
1

Absolutely not. She looks good for her age but I'm not interested in anyone old enough to be my grandma.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 02:25 PM

What would you call it if someone felt no sexual attraction to someone else but had sex with them regardless for whatever reason while feeling nothing?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/24 02:08 AM

Language evolves, it's real now, even if it's a result of social anxiety or whatever else.

This is something awful people do, I don't think it's specific to men or women
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/24 01:44 PM
1

You say it like that's a bad thing??
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/24 08:35 PM
1

They should absolutely try to at least be subtle, but if you're sharing for a long time I understand still having sex. Someone like a landlord I'd probably just try to ignore, but if it was a relative I'd give the wall a kick if it's bad so they realize I hear them and shut up.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/24 08:31 PM
1

I don't think that's comparable since you can just hold your piss
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/24 08:27 PM

As long as she doesn't bleed through the towel, it wouldn't be a big deal. Unless she wanted to free bleed in public, that'd probably be a deal breaker

There are healthy ways to lose weight, and many people with eds are still overweight. Having an ed has literally no benefits

I'm not sure exactly, just the way some of them look and frame their photos made me immediately think of porn bots. Ah that makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 02:05 PM

They look like bots. Also why did you censor the eyes...?

It's rape unless she consented to this while conscious.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 09:39 PM

Agreed
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:14 PM

I agree that saying someone isn't hookup/fwb material is an insult, but a lot of people here are saying that calling someone husband material on its own in an insult
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:11 PM

Tell him you would fuck if he was a jerk, but you wouldn't expect bf actions from him, he's gonna act like a jerk. That's a better deal. How's that a better deal? What's the appeal of being a jerk? And I enjoy doing bf actions with my partner
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:09 PM

I thought they were the same thing...
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:05 PM

Yeah I really don't get how calling someone husband material means you're not attracted to them, seems like it should mean the opposite
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:04 PM

Sorry, *I'd rather be a husband/boyfriend then a guy who gets hookups
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 03:18 PM

Husband is a downgrade from a guy that gets hookups without putting in effort. I'd pick my gf over a hookup any day...
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 02:20 PM

What about women who aren't interested in casual sex with anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 01:52 PM

Pretty sure this is a reference to the husband material discourse, but I don't see how these are at all equivalent "She's unworthy of a relationship" ≠ "He's lifelong romantic commitment material"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 01:49 PM
1

Why are you friends with a cheater..?

/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 10:02 PM

I can't imagine many guys here are being called husband material by anyone...

1

You have a very cynical view on marriage. Not everyone is miserable
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:48 PM
1

How do you get married if you can't find anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:42 PM
1

These both sound like compliments??
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:41 PM
1

How many poor people do you know who do that? 1 if you include a stranger?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:16 AM
2

I'm gonna guess the first ones a lie, last two feel too specific, and redditors don't have that kind of travel money
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 01:26 AM
3

If you don't go you're probably gonna let him down, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You just gotta decide which matters more to you, not having to suffer through the party, or your friend having a better time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 12:52 AM
1

I try not to think about it because it's of course very upsetting
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 12:49 AM
2

They don't look entirely human anymore...
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 12:17 AM
2

I don't see sex as something women exchange for a good boyfriend. I try my best to be the best partner I can because I like to see my gf happy and I like it when she treats me the same. We have sex because we both enjoy it, not as some sort of payment.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 02:05 PM
1

I answered yes, just ignore the rest if you don't want my reasoning for it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 01:59 PM
1

Yes. I have a high sex drive and like my partner to have one, too. Plus, my girlfriend has a fairly high body count and I want her all the time...
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 01:47 PM
2

Why do so many people here treat sex like some sort of damage that men give to women? Am I being used and tossed aside if I invite my friends over to play board games, then things don't work out and we move on and make new friends? Sex is generally a mutually enjoyable activity, not a disease or a chore you do for someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 01:43 PM

I don't think that really proves anything. He was likely in a worse place mentally before transitioning, which could have made romance much harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 07:17 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 01:45 AM

I'd say the worst that could happen from it is she gives him a ton of stds and then accuses him of rape, he goes to prison for years then gets out and gets sued for child support
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/24 01:44 AM

I don't think the opinions of a couple of mentally ill tiktokers are relevant
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 11:14 PM

Not everyone sees that as a negative, I'm autistic and tend to prefer the company of other neurodivergent people, it's not arrogance. And even if she does count it as a negative, she's autistic and probably isn't the best at following unspoken social rules. You should try not to immediately assume the worst of people, the world is much nicer that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 03:09 AM

Intersex people
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 03:05 AM

A trans woman probably wouldn't wait for marriage since that's usually something people do for religious reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 03:01 AM

Do women who wait for marriage have their fingers amputated??
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 02:59 AM

Pretty sure that's also a crime...

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 01:10 PM

I seriously doubt many people are dedicated enough to their fetish to get surgery for it, lose friends and family, be significantly more likely to be a victim of violent crime, ect

/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 06:28 PM

Seriously, where are the women you guys say like bigger men? As in given mostly fit male options, they would proactively choose the fat one? I don't think I've ever met one. Then my female friend goes "Awww I liked you more when you were a teddy bear".

Depends on how old they are. A 3 year gap is gross when they're 13 and 16, but a 6 year gap is no big deal when they're 30 and 36.

According to Oxford languages, it's "a set of attitudes and ways of behaving stereotypically associated with or expected of men, regarded as having a negative impact on men and on society as a whole." So I'd say the definitive you gave as well as the "random shit" are examples of toxic masculinity, since even though they aren't specifically masculine, they are associated with men.

Either you have zero self-control or you don't care about me at all. It's over." /r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 01:13 AM

For some people staying a healthy weight takes minimal effort, but for others it's much harder. I've known people who are always on some kind of diet and work/exercise constantly but are overweight, while I gorge myself on sweets every chance I get and live an incredibly sedimentary lifestyle yet am underweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 01:06 AM

"Women are stupid and evil and lame and stinky!" "Women don't like me for some reason... must be cuz they're shallow too!"
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 12:20 AM
3

Radfems think all MTF trans women are nosey lying men trying to perv on rEaL wOmEn...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 02:43 PM

Then he grumbles about getting no matches because women are all off chasing "Chad"
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 12:01 AM

Yeah, her job was never an issue. It didn't last long for other reasons but her job had nothing to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 04:15 AM
1

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 04:02 AM

Maybe it's cuz I'm a man but I have no idea why, just sounds like a benefit to me. Unless the concern is her working too often and not being able to see you enough? But theoretically she could make more while working less depending on the job.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 09:55 PM

Do you seriously think glasses make a guy not dateable? My dad and I both wear glasses, we both have partners. I've never heard a guy complain irl that glasses limit his options
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:28 PM
6

It should be adjusted to match inflation and be enough to survive without assistance if you're working full time imo
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:06 PM

they all want chad if they are on tinder. Nobody wants to date a guy with this mindset
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 05:03 PM
3

An incredibly useful skill for daily life that everyone needs?🤔 Ewww ick ick ick what a pussy 🤮😵💀
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 01:26 PM
2

I hate being around/holding infants but that is horrific and evil
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 01:21 PM

He's obviously trolling, you can't reason with him...
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 02:36 AM

Mmm musky fish smell, how attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 11:24 PM

Nope, not for me at least. I just keep doomscrolling with extra guilt and regret
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 11:21 PM

Do you think being a manwhore is killing them??
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 11:19 PM
2

A ferret is fine but a dog isn't?? I can completely understand a dog being a dealbreaker, but I don't get how a ferret isn't. They reek, need constant attention or they'll shit all over the house and tear up everything, love chewing toes, require daily litter box cleanings, are expensive af, ect...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:47 PM
1

Dislikes dogs. I like them myself, but I'm not interested in owning one, too much effort and money, so I wouldn't mind if my partner wasn't a fan
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 03:43 PM
2

I'd try to avoid getting into a relationship with a woman who treats you like that. Not taking "no" for an answer and putting her needs before yours isn't gonna stop in the bedroom
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 01:59 PM
1

Very very rarely. I can only think of once, and it was when I was feeling really sick. What do you mean by risk it though? I've never had sex when I didn't want it for fear of consequences, I just pretty much always want to
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 01:51 PM
2

Pretty sure it's all cons there
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 01:48 PM

Yeah but it's unusual for an adult to complain about their mom not buying a robux giftcard
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 11:11 PM

...what are you doing in a subreddit about dating? How old are you??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 11:07 PM

A shit ton of child abuse, neglect, and people smothering, drowning, and abandoning babies
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 07:22 PM
1

No, I wouldn't use someone like that. Maybe I'd try dating her and see if I develop feelings, but I wouldn't marry someone I'm not attracted to just for the benefits.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 12:51 PM
1

Pretty sure he's describing a goblin, which are typically portrayed as short
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 09:41 PM
1

That's the questionable part..?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 09:32 PM

Perfectly understandable to take the drink back but kinda gross of him to leave it there for her to unknowingly drink out of after he put his mouth on it if it's real
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 09:31 PM
2

Right?? I once went to a bonfire where I was practically shivering on top of the fire wearing a jacket and sweatpants while a woman stood around in a crop top and tiny shorts like it was the middle of a summer day.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 12:41 PM

Fun fact: Women are people
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 01:58 AM

Most guys here would call me a beta based on my job/looks/personality but I have a gf who I love and who loves me so maybe I'm a chad
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 01:57 AM

Why I have half a mind
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 12:17 AM

Probably envy
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 09:36 PM
1

Depending on where you live that isn't average, in America, about 70% of the population is overweight or obese
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 06:26 PM
1

If he's gonna improve my country then who gives a shit what he does in his free time. I guess I'd feel bad for the children but if he's the best option then so be it, I doubt there's any politician without skeletons in their closet
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 06:03 PM
1

He's not "harnessing passive dread" he's improving himself and supporting his partner
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 03:37 PM
1

trying to tell me this is more likely to happen than if you run into a bear and get attacked? Nope, in fact I said the opposite, you just didn't finish reading my comment. You also failed to read the part you quoted, "bear is also unlikely to harm them." Also meaning in addition to, in addition to the man specifically, so they're both unlikely to exert violence on someone. A minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:03 PM
1

Maybe they just believe what they're saying then, or are lying to themself I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:58 PM
2

No idea, depression scrolling is my main hobby
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:56 PM
1

I don't think they're saying all men are rapists, they're just saying bears tend to avoid humans so the bear is also unlikely to harm them. Humans can do things much worse than bears can, so they'd rather roll the dice with something a little more likely to harm them but is certain not to hurt them in the ways they fear most. I would take the man though, as adorable as I find bears I don't think I'd respond right if I ran into one.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:55 PM
1

Is it settling to get with someone who's your equal? I certainly wouldn't be interested in getting with a teenager nearly young enough to be my granddaughter. I'd want an actual relationship, not just someone to control and fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 12:46 PM
2

Maybe she just likes him and wants to be around him... seems pretty simple....
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/24 02:52 AM

My chin is like that, I kinda look like a deformed fish from the side
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 07:36 PM
2

I've noticed people claiming that but I haven't noticed it actually happening. I mainly see young women having an issue with age gaps, and usually it's consistent across gender. I'm a 21 year old guy and I find it gross because I remember being 18 and how much less mature I was, I'm sure the difference between me now and in 10 years will be even bigger. So when I see a 30 year old with an 18 year old I know their maturity is probably in two different worlds.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 01:09 PM
2

Yup, my gf does every day
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 01:01 PM
1

That's fine, and it's fine with reverse genders too. Unless they've been together 4+ years, that's a bit weird. 4 years isn't that big a gap unless you're really young imo
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 12:58 PM
2

I don't see how both options being awful is relieving
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 12:51 PM
3

Definitely not
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/24 12:49 PM
1

So it's not about them being identical, it's an incest thing..?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 09:36 PM
2

This is why all men need to introduce non ethical non monogamy as their form of political lesbianism until their wives stop controlling them. Also, if he knew about lookism he would've noticed the hunter eyes. RIP. Non ethical non monogamy? Political lesbianism?? Lookism??? Hunter eyes???? You're speaking a whole new language
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:26 PM
1

Have you considered though: you get to see cool birds eat the bugs
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 07:02 PM
1

Definitely ppdw, through sheer numbers if nothing else. There are a lot more men here than women, so there's bound to be a lot more hateful men too.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:34 PM
2

Not outwardly, but I imagine someone who's hateful and bitter, and pushes everyone away while wishing for violence. Though this is specifically how I imagine the basement dwellers who identify with the term "incel," not just anyone who's involuntarily celibate. Similarly to the word "feminist," it has taken on a new meaning.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:31 PM
3

It's a meme...
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:26 PM
1

Some people care about more than just looks, and some people don't think of average height women as midgets.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 02:19 PM
2

I brought it up within the first week of talking to my gf, I don't think there is a too soon. Why risk wasting eachothers time?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 04:04 AM
2

Poopgirl and pee-jug-boy, how romantic
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 03:41 AM
1

Yeah, why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:14 AM
1

Fuck yeah
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:11 AM
2

Idk about the woman but that cake sure didn't inflate, it looks like a brick
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 12:09 AM
2

Same, bad morning for us
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 07:20 PM

I don't think a quick one text test in the early talking phase is comparable to a whole plot several months into a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 05:15 AM

Men are allowed to have friends...
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 01:43 AM

A list of what and ranking what?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 07:49 PM

That's not even long?? I had sex with my gf after 3-4 months and looking back I feel like we rushed things if anything
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 04:43 AM
5

I gotta do something while I poop
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/24 01:35 AM
1

Hopefully they could learn, or we could have a poly relationship. If not, fine, I have hands.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 01:13 PM
2

They're more often naive and unexperienced, so they don't know the signs or know what a relationship is supposed to be like
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 01:10 PM
1

That they're shitty friends and she's a shitty partner
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 01:05 PM
1

Boobs out? That's just a regular tank top
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 12:36 PM
4

No amount of bad sex would make me break up with someone I love, unless it's bad in ways that show me negative things about their character (like if they keep going when I say to stop)
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 12:34 PM
1

I don't think bears are constrained by the law
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 07:21 PM
1

No, it just means he is a slave in the spirit and the outward dominance is just a false front he puts. lol
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 07:20 PM
4

I disagree. You can believe women should have the right to be equal without wanting to be dominant yourself 100% of the time. A man being submissive in bed doesn't mean they want to be an actual slave in a women run society, the same applies to women. Do people who don't drink all want alcohol banned? Try applying your logic to anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 03:01 PM
2

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:50 PM
2

Anyone who's not straight and cis, so LGBT+. Though many people aren't a fan of the term, especially when people who aren't LGBT+ use it, kinda like how only black people can use the N word. As for how you know, you usually can't unless they tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:41 PM
1

They're getting unbearable, it's making me furious!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:27 PM
1

Nah, I'm not leaving someone I care about when all actual evidence says she's good for me because my mom had indigestion.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:24 PM
3

I wouldn't say disgust but I'm not a fan when it's excessive. Several inches of pubes or armpit hair doesn't look great to me but trimmed is perfectly fine, I've yet to see arms or legs hairy enough to be unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:18 PM
3

....what
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:13 PM
1

Nah, it's not a big deal. I know my gf would never cheat on me, but if checking was so easy, I'd press it out of curiosity if nothing else too. If she did something extreme like stalk me, read my texts, or confront women I talk to "just to be sure" then that would be an issue, but something as quick and easy as a button press doesn't suggest she really belives I cheated nor does it invade my privacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/24 02:11 PM
1

Can I bring my gf?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 12:58 PM
2

No, why would it be? Believing you're the very best in every category that your partner could ever get sounds delusion and arrogant, or like you have a really shitty partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 12:53 PM
1

I suppose "dislike" might've been more accurate but "lack of acceptance" is a mouthful
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:57 AM
2

Are individuals responsible for the actions of strangers who happen to share their demographic? Men have committed murder so you must be a murderer and all men should be hated and not accepted into society! A ton of priests are rapists so all Christians are evil rapists!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:51 AM
1

The conclusion?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:44 AM
1

6 is me when my gf tells me to crawl out of bed and take a shower
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:43 AM
1

Because everyone wants to be accepted, and there's no reason to hate people for something outside of their control that hurts nobody. You'd complain if everyone hated you for no reason, too
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:40 AM
5

If you gotta go you gotta go, who cares? It's a toliet not a changing room
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 02:12 PM
8

Public bathrooms aren't for taking your clothes off, so those aren't really comparable. By whipping out your dick you're consenting to the chance of someone getting a glimpse of it. There's perfectly good stalls if you don't want that. It's not like everyone is lounging around naked in the bathroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 02:10 PM

They usually use more violent methods. Women actually attempt more, men just succeed more.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 04:49 PM

My guess would be she's interested but sucks at conversation/texting or just expects you to carry the conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 04:47 PM

I wouldn't care enough to have any thoughts about it
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 04:45 PM

I think that's a you thing, I know more men who prefer short women than vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 04:44 PM
1

Being ugly doesn't make you a better person
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 01:00 PM
2

I would take that in a heartbeat, that much money would change my entire life. Then inflation would go wild from printing all that money to give to so many people...
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 12:52 PM
1

No that sounds awful
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:55 PM
1

You say that like it doesn't happen all the time, how do you think she ended up a single mother lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 05:54 PM
1

So if you've kissed a woman that means you kissed a man because their lips are essentially the same thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 01:48 PM
1

That makeup aged her 10 years
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 08:19 PM
2

Well he said they cancel, not ghost
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:24 PM
1

An unexpected complication?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:17 PM
5

I suppose you can assume whatever you want to make things fit your views
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:46 AM
5

Simply going outside and looking at couples/having friends proves this wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:35 AM
1

If you have to completely hide who you are from her, is she even your gf?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:03 AM
1

Fuck no. I'm 20 and if a little bastard somehow made it past the womb it'd go straight to foster care
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:40 PM

Depends on your priorities and where you live, generally I'd say unattractive women have it worse though
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 06:41 PM
1

It's ideal for some people, but others have no issue with the things you've listed as downsides. Everyone has their own preferences, for some people a traditional monogamous relationship is best, for others polygamy is best, and for some FWB is best. I love living with my gf and getting to spend my days with her. I don't love her just for the honeymoon butterflies, I love her because she makes my life better. Her family isn't my favorite, but I like being able to share that with her, it's worth …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 04:22 PM

That isn't feminine it's childish
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 12:41 PM

I don't think that's a contradiction. The boobs aren't inherently sexual but are being sexualized by the staring.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 12:37 PM
1

Why? Is this not accounting for any other factors or would you probably love the gay one more no matter what?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 11:42 PM
1

Love them more as in more than you'd love a straight child? What if you had a gay child and a straight child?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 11:38 PM

Would you rather be alone in a liquor store with a taxidermy bear mascot or a random man?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 11:33 PM
1

I've only encountered one person who's expressed that to me, but comments on here have suggested a lot of people will think that and just not say it. According to ppd, many neutotypicals feel viscerally disturbed when someone avoids eye contact and will assume the worst, maybe to justify their feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 11:13 PM
1

Normal people are, by definition, the most common type
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 08:48 PM
1

I seriously doubt gender is that relevant. Maybe an ultra woman hating incel would sacrifice 20 women, and a radical feminist who thinks all men are rapist would sacrifice 20 men, but that is not the norm. Race is equally relevant to peoples choices, but people don't mention that either because normal people don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 08:43 PM
1

I have zero pity for him. If it's such a big deal to him then he either should have asked sooner and left, or never asked at all. I wish him the worst and hope all that cheating rots his dick off with stds.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 06:22 PM
1

I'm a guy but I'd happily take the weed smoking femboy. Metalhead almost won but the anger issues aren't worth it. I'd go 2, 1, 4, 3
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 06:17 PM
1

Then he should have left her. That doesn't justify cheating
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 06:13 PM
2

For some people
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:05 PM
4

It gets better imo, but there's always teen drama and the comedy stays the same. It's no The Boys but gets a little closer.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:04 PM
2

You'll feel adored half the time, the other half she'll key your car and destroy your ps5
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 12:47 PM
2

Weirdo
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:07 AM
1

1, 3, 2, 4 would be my guess. Half decent looks are required to get your foot in the door and social skills are needed to stay there. A lot of people are willing to completely overlook a lack of money/status as long as they're getting the butterflies. I think social skills/EQ are more important for maintaining a relationship, but it'll never start in the first place if they aren't attracted to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 02:04 AM
2

It's cactussy a couple days after a shave but not after a trim imo
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:13 AM
4

And more likely to have ingrown hairs if she's shaving all the time...
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 01:03 AM
3

I could probably improve it with practice, just never felt the need to. It simply doesn't come naturally to me, and when I try to force myself it's hard to focus on what they're actually saying because I'm focusing so hard on trying not to look away from their eyes. Plus, there's apparently a specific balance you're supposed to strike and it's seen as creepy if you look into their eyes too much. It's not an issues with people I'm comfortable with because I don't even think about it, I look in th…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 08:17 PM
2

Damn, I never realized it actually made people feel uncomfortable. I thought it just made them "uncomfortable" in a "why is that weirdo breaking social norms?" way
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 07:56 PM
2

It's a joke based on all the "would you rather be in the woods with a bear or a man?" questions lately
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 05:40 PM
1

If I ever had to deal with a baby it'd be out the window within a week
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 05:38 PM
2

Is it really that big a deal? I've always been pretty bad with eye contact, but nobody's ever made a fuss about it. Are you sure it's not a you thing? That just kinda seems like a stretch
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 05:29 PM
1

I get the aversion to kids or social situations being an issue, but why would hyperfixations or being uncomfortable with eyecontact be a dealbreaker?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 03:19 PM
5

Did you read the post? He's checked out of the marriage, essentially just stuck paying for a roommate that he hates. She's constantly anxious, desperately fighting for the approval of someone who'll never love her. The kids are getting a terrible example of what relationships are like, which will probably hurt them later in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 03:16 PM
3

3 sounds great except him being that age with no standards and no previous relationships is a pretty big red flag. He obviously is desperate for a relationship, so why hasn't he had one? What is he hiding? 1 is okay, has some good aspects, but has some big flaws, too. I'd rather die alone than be with 2
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 03:10 PM
4

She should lose weight and break up with him
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 02:59 PM
2

Sounds miserable for everyone involved
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 02:56 PM
1

Why were you so rude from message one though..?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 01:33 PM

Tits are great if they have both but if it's just one or the other I gotta say ass
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 10:35 PM

Trans women still at least used to have a dick so I assume they'd know how it feels?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 10:32 PM

Bear in the woods. Worrying about a bear while in the woods is pretty resonable, hallucinating someone chasing you suggests something more serious
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 10:30 PM

People are also around men much more often than they're around bears
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 09:28 PM

I usually give an awkward sorta-smile and a half wave if they're walking and don't acknowledge them at all if jogging

Most "hotties" aren't going to prostitutes
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 01:31 PM

By your logic, doesn't that mean men really are the worst?

Thick thighs are superior, they make the best pillows

Not inherently but they often are

Prostitution? No, unless I'm getting at least 100mil a year. But something like OF? I'd do that with your conditions.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:17 PM

Can you give me a link to where you go that statistic? It sounds absurdly high and I'm having a hard time believing it

Just started learning about the rape pill today. Men really are the worst. That's how you sound
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:11 PM

I wouldn't consider it simping since he has a child with her. Her situation will likely affect the child's happiness
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 07:15 PM

Why? Wouldn't above average be ideal? Unless you want to manipulate her or something
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 07:13 PM

Sounds like a dumb strategy to me, even if it wasn't sociopathic it just isn't a good idea. Anxiety leads to being negative, emotinal and irrational, and people with low self-esteem are more likely to cheat for the confidence boost.

So a situationship is fwb but you're allowed to have some romantic feelings?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:36 PM
2

Just to look at I think the middle one is best, but in a relationship I'd like the right one. A bit of squish is good for snuggles and she's the only one with big boobs to play with.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:35 PM
1

It was a genuine question btw I wasn't being sarcastic or something. The first result if you google it is "a romantic or intimate relationship that lacks clear definitions or commitments typically associated with traditional romantic relationships." Which could also describe fwb.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:01 PM

Is there a difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:53 PM

She broke up with him before sleeping with Ted so it wasn't exactly cheating
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:12 AM

Ever if that were true it's irrelevant to this conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:18 AM

I would hardly call doe eyes "making a move"
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:11 AM

Depends heavily on how long ago it was, the circumstances, and how they feel about it now
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:53 AM

I know, I'm such a slut
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:50 AM

This is the dumbest take I've heard in a while
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:49 AM

It's an ai, not a person, I don't see the harm in playing with it. I wouldn't say men are ruining video games when they murder everyone

If their partner is abusive to the point that trying to break up with them risks retaliation
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 11:17 PM

"once the female is no longer in oestrus, the dog fox no longer needs to guard her and may leave, usually only temporarily, to seek out additional mating opportunities. Tracking studies in Bristol, for example, have revealed that, after the dominant vixen has ended her oestrus, the male often rapidly expands his range—in many instances more than doubling the distance over which he travels—to increase the likelihood of encountering other receptive vixens." https://www.wildlifeonline.me.uk/animals…

Is it just physical unattractiveness but they're a good partner, or I'm not attracted to them in any way? Cuz I'd be in a relationship with a good friend I don't find attractive, but I'd just be single if I don't like them at all

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:46 PM

gaslighting manipulate (someone) using psychological methods into questioning their own sanity or powers of reasoning. Gaslight ≠ an opinion you disagree with
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:27 PM

Why don't women date me? It must be 100% because of my looks... also every single woman is an evil delusional eugenicist

It's not gaslighting to share a subjective opinion lmao are you gaslighting me because you called her ugly and I disagree?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:16 PM

Maybe you want more than to just cum, sex with a prostitute isn't real, she's just working. You want the proper experience. Or are you not interested in casual sex in general? Many people only like sex when there's a connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 05:03 PM

I'd blend in just fine there. And no, I wouldn't blow up a perfectly good relationship that makes me happy just because the hypothetical children I don't want might not be super hot. They already have that risk if they take after me, so hopefully they'd look like my gf.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/24 04:00 PM

Turns out when you don't have an actual life with someone and can just hit them up for fun, they seem more fun and carefree. I hope he tries to start a relationship with his affair partner so he can be horrified when she starts to act like a human, she'll probably cheat on him too since she was willing to cheat with him.

I don't think having sex with consenting adults and being a pedophile are comparable. I think most people who say "the past doesn't matter" mean it in the context of body count, because what consenting adults do with each other doesn't matter. Obviously some of your past actions are still relevant and reflect on who you are, the phrase isn't 100% literal.

That is exactly how attraction works, at least for some people. A married couple who's been together for 10 years is gonna know how to please each other better than some hookup. Sex with my partner has only improved with time

/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 02:09 AM

Bisexual sadness 😔 the wordings a little confusing though, so if I choose to be in a harem can I still date the others I just don't pick them and they're all the same gender?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 02:01 AM

I don't think that's woman specific, that's kinda just how aging tends to work
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 01:52 AM

I'm pretty sure anyone can do it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 01:46 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 07:23 PM

I thought a "unicorn" was a bisexual woman that couples seek for threesomes/poly relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 03:29 PM

Would a man with a womanly lower-half of their body (think like curvy with a round butt) be a turn off? (everything else is normal) Hot as fuck, a nice ass is a nice ass Would a woman with a manly upper-half of their body (think like V shaped torso) be a turn off? (everything else being normal) Depends on the woman, but not a big deal either way
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:52 PM

It's expensive and painful, hardly sounds worth the effort
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:49 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:48 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 11:47 PM

Nothing wrong with having preferences as long as you don't shame men for it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 11:46 PM
1

Well I can't answer that, depends on what hobbies y'all have in common
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:39 PM
1

So anyone who doesn't do everything in their power to do everything optimally good regardless of their own feelings is "morally deficient"? You do realize you're on reddit right now, right? Why aren't you at a soup kitchen? Why are you exploiting people for this technology? Are all of your friends Amish vegans? If not, they're morally deficient
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 07:28 PM
1

I fail to see how they're morally deficient. There's some correlation if you look at the stats, but being promiscuous isn't inherently harmful in any way, and even if it was a direct result every time, how does them having bad relationships make them morally deficient?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 05:00 PM
1

Regardless, having a friend who does something that may correlate with that friend having a worse relationship is not at all comparable to a friend who does something that directly severely hurts others
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 03:56 PM
2

"Wanna do something together?"
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 02:26 PM
1

The difference is rape is morally reprehensible and actually hurts people, while being promiscuous is just a personal preference that says nothing about your morality
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 02:23 PM
1

It's one thing if everyone you hang out with is an awful person, their combined influence may rub off on you and desensitize you to what they do. But being promiscuous is just a personal preference, it doesn't leak into every interaction, and it isn't wrong or harmful. If you have a couple friends in medical school, you aren't going to turn into a doctor. On the other hand, to hang around dangerous people you are putting yourself in a dangerous position, and by laying with dogs, you're accepting…

It's close though, B wanting me to provide and always be a rock would be an issue. For the man I'd definitely do A. I have no interest in having kids and find people enforcing the "boys don't cry" attitude gross. My choice between all four would also be man A. More attractive for her age yeah but she looks about 10 years older than him. Then again I've been told by multiple people that I have face blindness so take that with a grain of salt

It's not her job to read your mind, if you don't want to drink then don't drink, if you don't want to talk about something then don't talk about it. And why complain about the lack of cuddles now instead of just asking to cuddle in the moment? She's not a mind reader. I'm not dying just because I'm socially disabled and will never have a normal relationship. Besides, it doesn't really hurt me that I hate myself. "Cock carousel" is such a weird phrase. You don't hop around between a bunch of different seats on a carousel, you stay on one for the whole ride. If anything it should describe someone faithful with a bunch of options.

Jealous of her dad cuz he's banging young women (which would be really weird unless she's gay) or jealous of the women who are fucking her dad? (which would be much weirder)

"Blue pill" isn't a specific set of beliefs, it just means "not red pill", and purple pill means having some red pill beliefs. As for what those beliefs are... it's debated.

I hate the term "N Count" so much. The N stands for... Number. Number Count. That's so vague it could literally mean anything. And obviously if there's a count there's a number, you might as well just say Count. Or just say "Body Count" like literally every person outside of this sub.

I don't think that's really comparable. Most people will never be 6'2, but anyone can be 20. And the majority of people date around their own age, most don't date 6'2 people.

(Or at least the women I'm close enough to that I'd know). And if it's a dealbreaker, don't bring it up later on, just ask before things get serious. Then it'll be a 0% chance.

I think it's perfectly resonable, sex is often a very intimate and vulnerable act. Would you share your deepest secrets casually? I haven't had casual sex, so I can't say I don't like it, but I have zero interest in it. Though I don't think that's the norm

Some people have different taste, not every fit guy hates fat women. Or they're just horny and know many guys are desperate. They might also just swipe right on everyone. Overall I don't think it's narcissistic to not refuse to give a guy a chance just cuz he's fit...

The amount of work it'd take to support three people on my own would make me absolutely miserable, but I can't imagine putting my partner through that either. Stop waiting around trying to attract them and actually seek them out. Most "good men" don't hit on strangers, if you wait for them to come to you, you're gonna get desperate horndogs. Depends on if you make your intentions known. Manipulating someone into thinking you love them so you can get relationship experience? Morally wrong. Having what you both agree to be a short-term relationship? Perfectly fine.

I think it's a pretty strange thing to do, especially in a monogamous relationship, not inherently unethical since thought crimes aren't a thing but still kinda weird and gross. I'd say it's about letting people do whatever they want to their own bodies and use whatever words for themself that they want. I know some pretty radical trans people and yet I have never met or heard of a single person who wants to make it so you're not allowed to misgender people, sure they won't hang around you if you do, but everyone has that right. Not allowing trans people to be who they want is just restricting freedom of speech and bodily autonomy.

...could you please explain what you think "transgenderism" is? I'm genuinely curious

Why do you hate transgender people..? It's not an ideology or belief system, nor is it a choice, most of them are just existing like everyone else.

That's like keeping a vegetable with zero brain activity or chance of ever waking up on life support for its entire life, except that vegetable also has no friends or previous life. I recently saw I guy quote a woman he was arguing with, and he straight cut out half the sentence he was quoting, completely changing the meaning, then argued with this point he made up.

A lot of people instinctually hate things that are strange and foreign to them. Even if poly people aren't hurting anyone or affecting them in any way, they think, "I would never let my partner do that!" and are disgusted. Look at how many people hate gay and trans people even though they have zero impact on their life. Though I disagree about nobody being content with monogamy, the majority of people are in monogamous relationships and don't cheat.

If you're only willing to date virgins, imo you should ask as soon as you're comfortable having serious conversations but before you catch feelings, so nobody is hurt it it doesn't work out. And of course let her know you're a virgin too so she doesn't think you're a hypocrite.

In the Western world, it's just a matter of personal preference. If you'd like to be successful and do something big with your life, it's easier as a man, but if you want to do the least effort needed to survive then it's easier as a woman. Casual sex is also much easier as a woman, so if that's something you prioritize, then being a woman might be better. Then only post the interviews where they say "If she's ever had sex she's a filthy whore!"
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 05:32 PM

Then don't ask him for money. Unless you're on the edge of homelessness, there's usually another way. And if you really need the money, maybe see if there's any work you can do for him to make up for it.

I think I'll just comment anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 03:56 PM

Depends on what the job is, how old the kids are, what the kids' needs are, how much help the SAHP is receiving, their financial situation, personal preference, etc.

Obviously in most cases you should listen to logic instead of emotion, but marriage is all about emotion. If you don't feel happy together in a marriage it kinda defeats the whole point of being together, and why should you make yourself suffer? That's just making your own life worse. Divorce is the right thing to do logically and emotionally in an unhappy marriage.

Nobody is saying tight pants are inappropriate, they're saying pants specifically designed to accentuate the penis being worn at a school is inappropriate. Also she literally gave an example of when tight clothes are more practical. I have no idea what you mean about men wearing tight clothes being weird, I see men in tight shirts every day, I see tight pants less often but it's still not a strange sight.

If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. But pretending to be interested in a real relationship while secretly planning on breaking up from the start is cruel and disgusting.

I'm so glad my girlfriend doesn't care about jewelry or tradition, no way I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a finger decoration. She'd just say, "we could have used that money on a computer or rollerblades or food or saved it for a car-"

Many people hate what's different and unusual. They think, "I wouldn't do that, so it's wrong!" Even if nobody is getting hurt or everyone involved is aware of the consequences. Just look at how people talk about poly relationships.

Have you ever heard of the frog in a boiling pot? You put a frog in a pot of warm water and slowly turn up the heat, the frog doesn't notice the subtle shift until it's dead. The specific analogy is a myth, but the principle is true. In many abusive relationships, it starts small, and you forgive because you love them. It builds and builds, but there's still good times, so you stay and say the bad times aren't what they're really like, it was just because of this or that. And you ignore it when …

You people always get the chicken and the egg mixed up. This attitude came AFTER a near total lack of success. I'm aware you meant the bitterness was in response. I just meant it takes your chances from somewhat low to near zero, which will only throw fuel in the fire. Though I suppose the attitude may have affected you from the start, nobody likes it when a guys response to not getting his way is anger.

And as I grow more resentful, I find myself cheering for climate change. That's part of why I became an oil lobbyist straight after uni. You know, I always thought most people ignoring climate change were just very ignorant or old and apathetic, but maybe they really are malicious. Huh. Unfortunately, hating everyone because you're lonely is like a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you don't care about other people, they won't care about you, which only makes it worse.

Imo he should just straight up ask her how she didn't know given they text a lot. Not accuse her of cheating or anything, just point out how weird that is. Maybe there's some actual reason, maybe she'll try to lie her way out and reveal that she's cheating. Either way, he gets some answers without looking paranoid or accusatory.

That's where we differ, I would never have sex with someone I'm not certain I will have a long relationship with. Edit: In case someone's confused since I'm downvoted, I'm not saying nobody's allowed to have sex outside of a LTR, I'm talking about myself.

I can't imagine having sex with someone and then finding out we don't have compatible values or personalities. I don't think someone could be bad enough at sex for me to break up with them if I really liked them.

No, I just think if your pics are real that you're a good bit above average and your face would be a help not a hindrance. It's so obvious that you're either trolling or have severe body dysmorphia and should book a therapist immediately. If you're serious, you quite literally do not see your face the way it actually is, you're hallucinating, you're not aware of what you look like.

Just a guess cuz idk how it looks on you, but armpit length is probably good, a little bit longer might look better but curly hair is a pain to maintain so armpit is a good length.

A couple years makes a big difference when you're so young, I became an entirely different person between 16 and 18 Edit: I missed the almost 19 part, and got a little held up on the number 16 and didn't account for her being days away from 17. At 18 and practically 17, you shouldn't necessarily be too different in maturity. My gf and I pretty much have the same age gap and I feel like she's always been as or more mature than me. Though the numbers still feel kinda weird and creepy, and even tho…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 08:25 AM

It's not cheating if you haven't had the exclusivity talk. No rules have been established, so there's no rules to break. Though I still think you should disclose this, and it's definitely wrong to lie if asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 08:20 AM

I think most relationships are possible, no matter how niche your requirements, there's 7 billion people on this planet after all. You're never going to find a pair who will agree to this though.

You definitely could have gone about this better, for instance you could have told her that her going out in that kind of environment alone makes you nervous (not because you're afraid of what she'll do, but because you fear what others may do). Jumping straight to an ultimatum does not sound healthy. But it's perfectly resonable to not want to date someone who consistently makes you feel uneasy, you just probably should have explained how you feel and why you feel that way before making demands…

I only have one reason, but it's a pretty big one. It's just dangerous. Not just pregnancy and stds (though that too) but there is also the risk of being murdered, robbed, assaulted, or raped. I think it's dumb to act like being promiscuous is morally wrong, but it's understandable to not want to date someone who engages in risky behavior or just has different values than you.

Less than half the population reports being cheated on at some point, so it's far from inevitable. And even if it does happen, that doesn't make relationships pointless. Sure, that one was, but you try again and find someone worth it.

Shared showers are nice sometimes when I really want the company, but it's generally not my preference. I'm not a fan of standing there soggy and freezing to death while she rinses her hair.

Let a man buy her a drink? I wouldn't consider it cheating, but I'd be uncomfortable if they chatted without her telling him she's already with someone. Bought someone else a drink? Presumably a stranger? That's an issue, those drinks are expensive and if my partner went out of their way to spend money just to chat with a random girl at the bar, we'd be having words. That's if I was in a totally monogamous relationship though. I don't particularly care if my partner flirts a bit with others, as …

Yes. I'm not so arrogant to think I know everything about human behavior purely off my own personal experience. Especially when this supposed basic behavior doesn't even match my own observations. After a little bit of looking (I'm not invested enough to do a deep dive into this) I can't find any reliable studies on the effects of wealth on marriage comparing men and women, so I'm just going to say neither of us know for sure how big the impact is. I'm waiting for a refutation any moment but none is forthcoming. If most women are just lying to themself to the point where their behavior reflects the lie... how do you know they're lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 08:00 PM

Seems like a pretty pointless thing to lie about, and they must have been lying to themselves too since they married men making less than them

Obviously these people exist, there's a person out there with any crazy view you can imagine. What I doubt is that this is the norm, in my own experience most people don't care whether their partner makes more than them, as long as their partner makes enough to take care of themself.

I would generously guess I spend around 3-5 hours per week... that's also including sexual daydreams while I do other activities, actual sex, and uh sex by myself. I don't think spending over a full day every week doing sex related activities is anywhere near normal. Either you're really overestimating how much time you spend on this stuff or you're a very abnormal case. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, if you write smut for a hobby/money that explains why your numbers are so skewed.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 03:54 PM

You know the whole "girlboss" thing redpill guys hate so much? That's women being against "wealth gap relationships". It's already pretty common for women to worry for stay at home wives and encourage other women to make their own money. And a big difference is a wealth gap isn't always financial abuse, but a fresh 18 year old is always going to be much less developed mentally, financially, socially, ect, than a 50 year old.
