Sorry to hear, your life is going to change, take your time and be nice to yourself. If it amicable I would still get your own lawyer. I base that on personal experience though, your results may vary from mine. Good luck and again take your time to grieve and take good care of yourself. Get a counselor to talk and to help cope. It took me awhile to get over it and didn’t take care of myself, wallowed in self pity. Now I’m doing a lot better.

Send some of that my way, lol! It’s been three years since divorce and in the beginning I put myself out there and got laid a few times but couldn’t deal with dating as a whole. Now I’m ready and a lot more fit, wearing nicer clothes and shoes, financially stable and the online dating is very slow. I’m an attractive guy too. Maybe it’s because I’m 53 and have a seven year old son. I don’t know. Yep I started late and don’t look my age.

If you get your children for the 30 days just pay for what you want to do when the child or children are with you. My ex wants me to pay for half of the summer camp in addition to child support. You may want to include something in the decree to make sure it’s set in stone what y’all decide, summer camp i…

The anger and the jealousy suck, you are just going to have to push through and get the divorce over with. File asap. Cover your butt, get your own lawyer and make sure the divorce decree is fair and equitable. Not sure what state you are in but it can happen fairly quickly. Start figuring out your life without her and plan ahead. Get a decent place, don’t settle and start saving money for emergencies. I promise it will get better over time and time really is the only thing that helps. Also cons…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
