From my experience definitely not. How the hell are you supposed to pick a girl up while not showing interest? Try to interpret the study this way, if confusion makes girls more interested your better off creating the confusion rather than being passive. Tell her you want her while subcommunicating that you could give a shit. This way your guiding her through the process of being confused, and according to this study, creating attraction instead of getting friend zoned off the bat.
