Let me try to break you of this addiction by telling you the truth. None of those guys are your friends. You're just addicted to male validation. I'll ask it this way: How often do they reach out to be friends with what you consider an unattractive or unfeminine girl? How many guys do you see them gather the contact info of to hangout? You're probably beautiful and they want free access to your social capital. Beauty is power. A woman who is beautiful can level up the people around her because s…

Some men when you break up with them and get back together spend the rest of the time in the relationship punishing, devaluing, and humiliating you for leaving them before. Why do I feel like that's what he's doing here?

Did you sleep with him? If he got to sleep with you it might have been just conquest for him. Believe people when they say things and stop giving the benefit of the doubt. It sucks but this was a good lesson on exerting your boundaries and walking away no matter what they say when you get the ick. This is part of the sorting process and nothing else. Take the lesson and move forward. It doesn't say anything about your value. It's more HE showed he isn't a valuable partner.

This isn't about liberal or conservative politics, this is about a lack of boundaries. You're infantilizing men and presenting an inauthentic version of yourself. I used to make the same mistake. You're acting like you're low maintenance. You're not. You don't just want to help him with things. You're trying to buy his love with acts of service and then getting angry at him if he doesn't return the same amount of love tokens. The reality is he never asked for your help. He never asked for you to…

So a couple things: Slow down. If anyone is sleeping with you but not committing to you it's often because they think your standards are so low that a guy is easily replaceable, or they have misaligned values with yours. A traditional guy will sleep with you while judging you for sleeping with him too soon. Based on the conversations I've had with guys and what I've seen, they want someone who knows their worth in a non-antagonistic way. Declaring your value shows insecurity. Confidence is a qui…

Listen he may have convinced you that he's the prize but you get to decide if a man has a legacy. Never forget that. Also, stop playing house with men. You're giving away easily what should belong to your future husband. Work on where this feeling of unworthiness comes from. Because men in their loving masculine don't want to be with a woman who feels unworthy and will throw themselves away to please any guy that gives them attention. They want a woman in her loving feminine who owns her insecur…

This is a lot of cultural beliefs. Sometimes you have to step outside that thinking and those emotional wounds to meet the right people. Remember that most people aren’t on Reddit and it’s not a good sampling of the standard opinion of most people. I did a lot of work on myself, became honest with my vulnerabilities, started living on faith, owned my insecurities by accepting them and where they came from but not believing them. All the sudden great people started coming into my life. If I belie…

Well I was lucky in the sense that I got to know him in a group first. We started off as friends. If I’d been trying dating apps or clubs it probably would have been a different experience. My mom always taught me you meet people in small groups. And it’s always been true. The conversation was uncomfortable for me but since the beginning I’d decided to be honest about things with him even if he decided to walk away because of them. I accept I’m not “the cool girl” anymore and I have big feelings…

That makes a lot more sense. I’m glad you both are figuring out what works for you. Maturity is definitely hard for people on both sides. One way I deal with my own immaturity is by voicing it in a humorous way. Like: “But I want to throw a tantrum because we can’t go to Best Buy today. See I’m being totally adult and reasonable right now…” My boyfriend loves this because I’m accepting my weaknesses and showing I see them as my problem. And we both get to laugh at it together. He also loves know…

Is it me or did I read this as he wanted her to be stronger than him while they were both sick? And that single mother raising all the kids by themselves usually creates masculine characteristics because of survival which conflict with a more feminine type of strength. Not saying all single mothers are masculine, just that most of his examples of “strong women” were women who had to survive without men. Women usually can’t revert to their healthy feminine if they don’t feel safe and are in survi…

Why are you trying to make him into something he isn’t? It’s not his job to be your perfect partner. You have to find someone with similar values. Instead what you said was mean and not very loving or supportive. You’re leading with your masculine and telling him to be more masculine so you can be feminine. It doesn’t work that way. You’re just not compatible and that’s ok. Find someone more in line with what you want who makes you feel submissive and taken care of. And do some inner work on how…

You supporting him like a child is pushing you into your masculine and I bet you’re infantilizing him. You’re actually preventing him from being a masculine man. Where are your standards for yourself? You can’t be in your feminine if you’re being the man in your relationship AND the woman.

It’s really weird he said this out loud which makes me feel like it’s exaggerated. All the really attractive guys I dated never said anything like this. It was just a given that they rejected a lot of women. It never had to be mentioned. Only the normal looking guys I dated said stuff like this. OP he could be saying this for bravado to make himself look high value to you. I’d take it with a grain of salt. He’s with you and that’s all that matters. Guys like that are testing to see how much they can get out of you and how little effort they have to give in. It’s foolish to try to meet them on this behavior. They nearly always have women on the side they’re spoiling or leave you to marry a woman who won’t tolerate this behavior. Some guys literally can’t respect you until you leave them because they don’t respect themselves and are thinking “why would someone like her want to be with someone like me” the entire time you’re dating. It just h…

He really wants to end the relationship but is a coward. Whatever happened affected him so much he’s no longer generous or he’s already being generous to someone else. This relationship may be past its due date. He also sounds financially irresponsible which is not good in a partner. Why is he trying to do lavish things while making big purchases?
/r/RedPillWomen22/11/23 08:34 PM

I second this. He might not realize it but having her work in a business she has no direct connection to is manipulative a bit abusive on its own. And it sounds like she’s taking over a lot of his responsibilities in general while he goes off on trips. He’s being negligent of his business and family when he does this.
/r/RedPillWomen19/11/23 12:17 AM

That is gently though. It’s not about him being somehow unappealing. And he messaged you at 1am. He’s not focused on respecting you.

Here’s the thing: men having access to you boosts their social status with other men. And men literally can’t see women they’re not interested in. Those women are invisible to them. So alone time with you boosts this guy’s social capital when he’s contributed nothing to you and he finds you attractive or you’d be invisible to him. Why do you care more about upsetting the dude than respecting your relationship boundaries? It’s easy to say “I love and respect my boyfriend. We both aren’t comfortab…

A Master’s degree. A lot of plastic surgery you have to keep getting redone. Breast implants for example are not one and done and filler is constant. We also don’t know the long term effects of some procedures yet. You are at risk of looking older faster. I chose not to get any plastic surgery even when I was most insecure just from learning about the maintenance, and risks. It can be botched, and you can die from the antibiotics because it’s such a strong dose.

Time to get a new boyfriend. Edit: There are a lot of men who prefer monogamy. Getting to the depths of your layers is what turns them on. I think he is too interested in what other men think and that suggests a lack of confidence. Insecure men make bad partners because they DO cheat and can sometimes be abusive. When they’re so insecure they need the validation of multiple women there’s nothing that will fill that hole in their soul.

I think this is where intimacy in a relationship is really important. And healing wounded feminine helps create that safe space. A lot of women act tough because they don’t feel safe being themselves. When I accepted that I was really delicate and feminine and had a tough exterior because a lot of feminists told me I had to be tough but it wasn’t who I was, I started healing. I’m Christian so I say God really helped me heal there. And showed me how toxic I was. I started to realize a lot of men …

It isn't moot because it becomes equal in subsequent dates based on the reasoning I laid out. He may pay for the first two dates, but she pays for the next two usually. With my friends if I invite them, I pay. Same principle.

The traditional etiquette was whoever invites pays. If she invites him to an activity she should offer and plan to pay. If he asks her on a date, he should offer and plan to pay. The problem is people stopped learning etiquette and don't know why we do these things anymore.

During that time period extremely common. The houses were often either made with clay brick and pitch, or carved stone. Windows were open holes in a square shape. Edit: you can look at the Palestinian village of Wadi Hilweh to get a view of what the houses were like. And refusing a King means death. And if your Instagram and such is bothering you, change it. I overhauled all my social media accounts to be more Christ centered. Before I was saved I had issues with porn and sexual impurity. I even worked for an adult entertainment distribution company at one point. So I do understand lust and what it's like to be surrounded by sex. I changed my surroundings.

She didn't bathe on the roof. He was on the roof and watched her bathe in her house. He was a Peeping Tom. "One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, 3 and David sent someone to find out about her. Watch out for any woman who doesn't read the Bible on her own. If the only time she reads the Bible is at church or during a bible study, she may not have a direct walk with God and storge or obligatory community love is more important to her. How many porn stars have you met? How many sex workers do you know? How many girls sending nudes do you know personally? I grew up and have been friends with people from all walks. You can't approach a problem without personal experience. I have seen the issue from the sellers, and buyers side.

My point has been feminism was created by ideologies that sold products. Industries created Rosie Riveter and other types of propaganda to keep their profits up. Feminism could arguably have been created by corporations and industry, to... make profits and sell products.

There is sex work, sex trafficking, and child trafficking. A lot of porn is sex and child trafficking, a lot of nudes are from sex workers promoting their businesses. Snapchat, instagram, twitch, twitter, and few other social media outlets that women who do sex work have accounts on. Often distributing nudes is a way to get interested buyers in an escort, cam girl, prodomme, or live show business. The change occurred when men stopped getting married so they could continue to play the field, and the economy pushed women to help financially support their families. Employment and salaries were on the rise, cities were growing, and men felt they had more time to get married. Adultery also was on the rise, so being married was not guarantee of a secure family.

Marketers create labels that then become a warm market for consumerism. All you have to do is watch a documentary on family based marketing in the 50's and 60's. The concept of a nuclear family looked better for the art. A slender wife, working husband, and two kids suggested that they were not a new family so their relationship was cemented, and they had the free cash flow to buy products. Most families didn't look that way though. A lot of families had a mix of family members, and only wealthy…

The problem though is both sexes are perpetuating it. Men ask for nudes and dump women who won't have sex with them. There can't be a steady quantity supplied with no buyer. Quantity demanded would go down, and thus the quantity supplied would go down. That's just basic economics.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 11:05 PM

It all started from marketers actually. The Mad Men of the 60's sold the idea of a nuclear family, which didn't really exist, and when the environment shifted started to sell "the modern woman" who didn't need men, to get women to buy coke products. Most of what people assume is their belief system was originally created by marketers to sell products. In my experience and walk with God I've learned that marriage teaches you how to love, and puts sin under a magnifying glass. Paul and Jesus were already filled with God's love. Jesus is God's son, and Paul was taught directly. So marriage was not a route they chose. They wanted to teach God's love to the nations. Marriage is not required to know God or complete your mission. But it does help one identify the limitations of their heart and heal them.
