I think it has always been understood this was the idea. 0	I'm seeing more and more of this: feminists using "mansplaining" accusations to deal with being publicly proven wrong When a guy automatically assumes women are intellectually inferior in some capacity or subject and takes the opportunity to educate them, generally out of the blue. It does happen a lot, way more of a legitimate gripe than the spreading thing.
