Good luck to you, when it happened to me I opened up and said that "she was pushing people away from her due to this behavior" and she was like "ok I'm happy with that". I haven't spoken to her since, and I also started to hate something from that day onwards - the feminism brainwashing bs. She was an amazing person before that, and now she's just a depressed feminist.

To me (I'm Brazilian), patriarch is real, but is a good thing especially for women. Like, it's literally "you don't need to work ever in your life, just keep yourself safe and conformable at our home that I purchased with my money for us and we'll be good"
