Good grief. I'm really at a loss to see anything at all controversial in your post. Seems respectful and enlightening to me, and it's accompanied with a friendly invitation to "come see for yourself." What could possibly be wrong with that? The good news is that as of right now, the top commenters over there are carrying the flag for reason. Good to see, whatever the topic may be.

Not everyone who uses the word 'retarded' is a linguist.

optional cosmetics that many men don't care about The crux of the matter. Personally, I find makeup and fake tans to be impractical and off-putting. Kissing shouldn't have an aftertaste. I think many ladies honestly don't realize that they do most of this stuff for each other, not for men. Which obviously makes this article something other than funny.

Depressing, but that is a sound point. Not sure what I was thinking, sometimes the world in my mind is an ideal place that has no relation to reality... a place where things can be discussed in hopes of coming to an understanding or making progress... a place where speech is free and everyone is equal... It's a mental illness.

I didn't even consider all of that. I'm new to the intense sensitivity of gender discussions on the internet.

Ah, thanks. I thought it was a reddiquette thing and didn't want to be ganking anybody's karma. I must have it backwards.

Maybe you could post this over on /r/foodforthought and anywhere else appropriate, so people that may consider this subreddit to be a hate-group (feminists) may actually read it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
