I think you completely missed what I was saying. A lot of victims of crime won’t come forward. This can be due to fear of seeing the criminal again, not wanting to bring up the past, or fear of being judged or humiliated. Also, as I’ve already said, it was rape if the men she slept with and robbed were not in a sober enough condition to consent. Therefore, by your standards she should be prosecuted, no?

Just because people don’t press charges doesn’t mean she should get off with no punishment. Take rape accusations, a lot of the victims feel terrified and too afraid to come forward, they don’t want to repeat the past or bring it up. But bu your logic then, if a rapist did admit to their crime they should be fine if none of their victims come forward.
