Hey whats up, I left it out because I was looking purely at sexually active individuals, and how competition and outcomes look for them. I try to cut out what I see as irrelevant to keep the posts information as concise as possible. The data 77% of unattractive men reported some sexual experience, as opposed to 88,88,and 87% in the latter groups ( no notable difference among them). 81% of unattractive women reported some sexual experience, as opposed to 85,89, and 89% in the latter groups. So ye…

Build an understanding of society to more effectively navigate it. This information is seriously helpful. I prefer the conservative approach of accepting where you are economically/genetically and adjusting your strategy to net you the best results given your situation. I think it’d be a poor decision to be unnattractive and try to shoot for being a slayer outlier rather than building yourself up as solid relationship material and net an attractive woman for something long term.

You are missing the basics, men and women have different sexual goals. Very attractive women on average retain their sexual partners for the long term and report these relationships being exclusive. Thus they get as much sex, but with less total partners. For the rest of women, they are attractive enough to get laid by a partner they find attractive but are not attractive enough to retain a partner they find attractive in the long term. Often they must play by men’s rules, in which sex occurs in…

For casual sex, yep. For sex and relationships in general, men rated unattractive didn’t differ significantly from average to attractive men in terms of total partners, they did however have significantly more total relationships that were exclusive. Unnattractive and want to get laid? Then according to this study you must do so on the opposite sexes terms. I’m men that means you’ll have sex that’s delayed until further into the relationship once you have shown exclusive interest and commitment.

What’s up my dude, there’s significantly more to attraction than just appearance. Being attractive enough just gets you into the roster of guys to potentially fuck, a woman then selects for additional traits to narrow down selection further. It is only the single deciding factor if there are literally no other physically attractive options to a woman, which is an unrealistic scenario in modern society. Physical attractiveness is the initial filter, but not the final and only filter by which wome…

Yes, stated preferences drastically deviate from acted preferences. But People genuinely are not aware of this. You’ve got to get past the bitterness at this, what helps is keeping in mind this is not some group agenda to keep the average guy blind, but a society wide lack of objective self awareness. You’ve got to get past the pain of this information and embrace it, as they say on here you’ve got to swallow the pill. Otherwise you’ll be stuck in the worst possible scenario, knowing this inform…

Yep, noted this sub is slowly deviating from its evidence based roots and figured I’d start recontributing periodically.

Notable Stuff: Sexual partner count and percentage of partners in which sex occurred within 1 week only notably increased in the category of men rated very physically attractive, consistent with the evolutionary model of women selecting men with the most desirable genes if they do have casual sex. Women from more well off families have higher sexual partner counts, consistent with the idea of greater economic freedom liberating women's sexuality further. If finances are not something they strugg…

I read this study and really didn't see it as all bad, and actually was happy with what I read. 1 in 5 women in the 2010's have only slept with their partner they married. 68% of women, roughly 2 in 3, have slept with less than 5 partners or less when they get married. Considering I'm seeking a partner with a lower partner count this info is motivating. A healthy, stable relationship seems to still be possible. Not likely, but armed with the information we have we've got the best chance out of a…

Exactly my guy, this is just social habits you've developed from hanging out unfiltered environments, and provided you keep your mind open and head up you'll shed all of them. That guilt and embarrassment you feel is a natural emotion your brain hits you with to let you know "lets not do that twice". This is why recommendations on here are to always be talking with people everywhere you go, you gotta hone that blade and keep your social skills sharp. If it helps, I and plenty of others have been…

Completely understandable given your situation, any guy who's been out of the dating game or who has not had much success in the past will initially experience this. Social skills are a skill, and are continuously calibrated and adjusted based on environmental feedback. Guess what happens when you aren't around IRL girls and guys, aren't regularly attending social events, and spend all your time on the internet? Your social skills get really fucking weirdly calibrated, and you dont even realize …

Hey man, I'd like to take a stand against your opinion. We have mechanisms for pair bonding just like plenty of other mammals: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/immunology-and-microbiology/pair-bonding Its perfectly natural for some men to respond positively to the idea of having an emotional connection before having sex. And I don't mean men are shamed into it, I mean a good portion of men are wired to prefer sex with someone they know and care about. While they'll find other women attractiv…

What’s the anger for? It’s just informative studies. You and I both know none of my comments are directed at the study or studies being posted here, only the inaccurate comments and interpretations of a certain selection of users who use emotion rather than logic to mentally process the studies and then comment completely inaccurate conclusions and takeaways. Anger is at: Misinterpreting studies and assuming one stategy and one thought process applies to all women of all demographics within west…

Implying they’re in fact unaware of their dual sexual strategy. They regularly are, and not all even implement the dual sexual strategy. I have no sources for this on hand, and its understandable if you dismiss that statement, but I base it on research I've read on women of low sociosexual orientation index scores vs. women of high sociosexual orientation index scores. This sub too commonly falls for looking at the behavior strategies of high sociosexual index scoring women and applying their se…

Take your fucking whining elsewhere. Your "why" is answered in dozens of studies here if you're looking to just bitch and talk poorly about women there are plenty of subs for that, this isn't one of them. The majority of people do not accurately report the reason/motivation behind a majority of their behaviors, usually because they literally are not aware of the real driver behind them and follow the pattern of "act" then "rationalize/explain". Reasoning follows the behavior, and just due to hum…
