So you tell a joke in private, everyone involved laughs, maybe someone gives one back, everyone laughs again. This reiniforces inequality how? Everyone knows its not serious and no one has become more sexist in this interaction, if they did, their beliefs are very fickle to begin with. The blanket statements your making are just false. People can joke about whatever they want, if it's funny, it's funny. Saying one group can and one group can't would be real ineqaulity. If the joke is just an obvious dig at a group with the faint disguise of being a joke, then you could argue it is whatever ist/ism. But jokes about any topic can be funny, doesn't mean they are against equality. Some people take themselves way too seriously, not everything is a battle against inequality.
