Except Op literally agreed with what I wrote. So you are wrong.

Except that has nothing to do with what I said. It's not that no one will be nothing. It's that being born something won't define you. You can make yourself what you want to be.

Sounds like a concept I wrote for a course in college. I wrote a paper explaining that once technology gets advanced enough, gender norms will deteriorate to meaninglessness because anyone can become anything they want.

There was zero reason for you to even write that response.

Dude, they are saying tere is more to life than getting your dick wet. A lot of people don't care about being around the dating scene places. Public transit exists in major metropolitan areas, so literally can take the train to those spots anyways.

Ahh wasn't sure if that's what you were doing so I just took it literally lol

He likely means older than himself. As in any amount of time older than himm

The 24 year old is mature? Or you're saying the other dude means mature?

No, it's a saying that's existed so long it's cliche

Said you worked in bumble fuck nowhere. Didn't say anything about what you did. But it's cool that you think your experience is the standard and only experience while spitting in my face because I'm telling you that you are wrong based on the experience of nearly 20 men I know who've gone through similar issues. Saying the job is a 10/10 place is only something an idiot would say unless it has the other qualifying features I said before.

No, it really isn't. Guess you just work in bumble fuck nowhere. It's different in the city limits.

No, that is not the only way it turns into an HR problem. The woman could just as easily be a psycho who can't take no for an answer. She doesn't like rejection, and so lies that "Adam" was being inappropriate. Again, I've seen this enough times to know it's a stupid idea that warrants it to be 6/10 or 7/10 at the absolute best.

Shitting where you eat is stupid. The only way this could work is if you are both in different departments and hardly see each other at work. Otherwise it more than not turns into HR problems. I've seen it happen too many times for this to be a 10/10

Where did I say anything about women wanting to be initiators? Are you even reading what I'm writing? Look, you can either accept what I'm saying or not. I don't give a shit. In normal conversations with people, if you actually care to talk with them in the future, offering your number is a good show of interest. Yes you are treating women like a game to score because why else would you only be concerned with getting a date? Because that's the only reason you interact with women in public?

And? If you aren't crap at the interaction, then you have just as much chance as getting a response from her giving her your number as you do getting a response back from texting her first.

And I'm telling you that you're treating women like a game to score instead of people to enjoy time with. Some women care about perceived social norms, but a lot of them don't. Assuming that giving your number to someone will result in nothing is already a losing mindset because you only care about "winning"

I guess if you aren't good at communicating in the first place, then yeah that's the mindset you will have.

Having women initiate some interactions makes you believe that they have to initiate all interactions? Why are you so black and white on this? You can still plan the dates and everything else.

because women are people who also look for connection with others? I've gone out with women by giving out my number at similar rates as just getting the number from women. There is no reason to assume individuals are as shallow as you believe them to be.

I get what you are saying. However, it's still possible to spin biological norms into social commentary to enforce gender norms. This is the problem that some people have with accepting biological facts at all. They would rather ignore them and simply fight for equality. We absolutely, as you suggest, need to find that balance and call out people enforcing things across the board. It's just going to be a lot of work to correct those incorrect "factual biological data" (as you say) that people un…

Doesn't acknowledging those biological differences inevitably lead to gender norms?

Why'd you bother responding if you weren't going to contribute anything?

I have never used social media to tell people about my life. Only for memes. I have no need for someone else's life story unless I'm a participant.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
