This is a better source : http://www.census.gov/prod/2011pubs/p60-240.pdf So you are saying single parents abuse kids more than non-single parents? How is that not an epidemic of women abusing children? This would be an epidemic of single-parents abusing children and not what you said.

first off... 75% of children still live in 2-parent households according to that. This would only explain clustering if over half of children lived only with their mother. Second, are you suggesting it's more OK for single mothers to abuse their children? Otherwise your argument is invalid. No, I am suggesting that maybe, with the same numbers of parents mothers abuse as often as fathers. This fits with the data if child abuse is concentrated among single-parent households, which is very likely.…

Women abuse kids 2-3x as much as men, usually the mother. edit - linky You mean Exhibit 3–H, page 23 ? I would like to see how much of these perpetrators were single parents. Page 4 of this document, you see that about 23.6% of children live with only their mother, and about 3.7% with only their father. If abuse reported to the CPS is concentrated among single-parent households (this is plausible), that difference (23.6% > 3.7%) would explain or even reverse the correlation found in your documen…

Do you have source for "abusing their kids" ? Do you mean (number of people jailed for not paying CS)/(number of people not paying CS) or simply (number of people jailed for not paying CS) ?

Your example doesn't say anything similar to "This is outrageous, women worked hard to earn their money and shouldn't give it to some man that ditches them!". Its tone is neutral. I can't find any statistics I hear from many friends I was trying to find alimony sources and failed. It looks like you have nothing of value.

A man poking a hole in a condom is trying to get her pregnant against her will. A woman trying to get pregnant without consent is not really doing anything that will ever hurt him, outside of child support.
