Temporary solution: This sounds extremely immature, but given that you have very few social skill resources at your disposal, you can do it the high school way. Tell one of your friends that you think 'X' is cute and ask them to pass the message along. Or write it down in a note and leave it on their desk. Now the down side of this is that you will come off as extremely immature. OK. On to long term solutions. YOU will never get better at this unless you try. Start out with small steps and just …

I will agree whole heartedly with that. It's just just part of the equation.

Yup. The truth is you need a mixture. Advice like you just need "to love yourself" "be confident" "have a good self esteem" and now women will just come flocking to you is ruinous to unaware new guys who believe it. There are just some raw basics you need in addition to such "inner game" approaches that actually make you available, on their radar, and on the market. You can have a Rembrandt painting hanging in your room, but if no one knows it is there, no one is going to appreciate it.

Well there is something to having a positive attitude. But that directly affects how you interact with other people. No one wants to hear about how much it sucks that you have a wart on your foot all night.

I’ve never met anyone who truly loves themselves who is unhappy or unable to attract women. Bullshit. There are plenty of great introverts who just don't get out there enough. It isn't simply a matter of loving yourself. There are some other raw basics you need to know. Honestly, this myth is no better than bullshit like "The Secret"

You don't know how much I would love not to get that nasty crick in my neck from kissing short girls, or to be able to make love to them with their face somewhat in proximity to my own. The grass is always greener. Given that the average height for women is 5'4" I think you have an enviable position.

Researchers point out that the moderate type of embarrassment they examined should not be confused with debilitating social anxiety or with "shame," which is associated in the psychology literature with such moral transgressions as …

Any women out there interested in how to give men "oneitis"? You don't give men oneitis. They start off that way. Illusions of love, romance and commitment. Presenting yourself as you are with no BS. If that is what you want, you need to find them before someone bursts their bubble.
/r/seduction18/08/11 07:45 AM

OK. Some obvious advice. We know that women are absolute shit when it comes to telling men advice as to what they want and what they like. That advice is typically filtered through too much of an altruistic view they want to hold of themselves. Plus it is difficult to self analyse. She would probably be better off starting a seduction type community specifically for women and testing out what works and doesn't work. Essentially what was done here.

What I haven't figured out, yet, is if they do this purposefully and maliciously, or if this is just the way they're wired. Having a few people paying attention to you is good for your self esteem, even if you are not interested in them. They may innately want them for the same reasons that guy's want other women to dote over them. To build attraction of other women. Here is the thing. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and can be mutually beneficial, so long as you understand the roles. She ca…

That said, I do think that puaCurveBall has a decent way of dealing with her emotional immaturity. http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/j2lya/how_do_you_get_over_a_girl_telling_you_she/c28mfb6

This morning she told me she regrets it, and that she let me have my way with her. That is a pretty shitty way to treat you. What if you woke up the next morning and told her that you regretted having sex with her and that it was her fault. She is emotionally immature in that she isn't taking responsibility for her own choices. You make amends to her? You should be asking how she's going to make amends to you.
/r/seduction28/07/11 10:24 PM

OK. Let me ask you what is wrong with: Pining away for someone who does not return your interest, especially when this obsession prevents you from forming other good healthy relationships. Getting treated like shit by someone because you "love" them. Getting used by someone because you are obsessed with them. What it boils down to is when you are willing to depreciate yourself as a person due to an obsession for one single other individual.

Watson named him publicly later and he has responded to Rebecca on his blog. I think what you are referring to, which is the hub-bub about "naming names" refers to a student blogger who originally called Rebecca out on the stupidity of telling men that asking someone up for a cup of coffee is bad. This woman's rebuttal to Rebecca to be specific. http://www.unifreethought.com/2011/06/fursdays-wif-stef-32.html The reason it at all was controversial was because Rebecca called her out in the confere…

A bit of devil's advocate here. The bulk of what she has said, especially earlier on did not even merit a passing glance. Most of what people are getting upset about are the result of other people upping the ante. Her feminist followers blew the situations out of proportion and thus other people blew it out of proportion (people like yourself) in the other direction. These emotional response for emotional response tit-for-tats just make things worse. And now you have her holding on to stupid arg…

Do tall guys have it easier? No. The short girls give you an awful crick in your neck. Usually it's better to just pass them by. Try finding a tall woman.

I think that focusing on the picture up front is good as mutual attraction tends to be a primary factor. But usually it takes more that one photo to evaluate someone's looks & weed out trick photography. Also people are more than just their looks. It would be nice to be able to see some details on people beyond just their photo ala what most dating websites have. Some people are not into drugs, booze, religion, etc. Might as well get those out of the way if they are limiting factors.

Innovative idea in terms of getting to the meat of the situation and only allowing two people who have already blindly said yes to each other to contact. But it looks like the website has a bunch of other deficiencies.

...you do realise this is entirely staged right? As in completely fictional. Not real life. They probably could have tossed just about any actor on their with a few head nods and as long as every other actor appeared to like him and revolve around him you would still be in awe and want to be like him. It isn't who he is. It's how all the other fictional people respond to him.

You had sympathy?! Yes. Far more than you gave me credit for. Are you even capable of honesty? Or of understanding what words like "sympathy" actually mean? And as I said, you burned it off. I have had enough of you acting like a drama whore and not calling you out on your bad behaviour.

You are perfectly within your rights to see me as whatever sicko fscked up person you want to see me as - just don't expect me to agree, or to support you, or to have anything to do with you. Stop being a drama whore. You are an adult. Act like one. Time to grow up with the rest of the world. Who said I was miserable?! I'm happier than I've ever been before in my life! OK. My mistake. Nope - you are a hateful bigot because you don't accept the realities of the lives of trans people. As you've admitted above, you don't see me as a woman at all. Again, we are back to you seeking my validation of your view of yourself. That isn't healthy for anyone. You can't force people to think like you think and force them to agree with you on everything. And quite honestly, this @#()*@ attitude that the trans community has brought to the table has done more to hurt the image and respect peo…

I thought I was OK with transsexuals, but according to the discussions I have had with transsexuals recently I am a hateful bigot if I don't want to have sex with a transsexual. Gay rights and their positive image is running circles around transsexuals primarily because gay people don't demand that I have to like having sex with them in order to have an OK respectful relationship with them. Sorry, but I kind of view sex as a very personally thing.

What gives is that you don't believe I am a woman at all. Yup. That is it in a nutshell. If you need external validation from everyone to maintain your sense of identity you are going to have an extremely rough life. You need to learn how to be OK with yourself.

Transwomen are still part of our team. They are free to identify as women. But if they get abused, I'm sticking up for them and so should men's rights.

This is what happens when the mantra "Never hit a girl" sinks into our culture. All of the video viewers are upset that no one stepped in to help her. Now think what would have happened to any guy who tried to put an end to this without the benefit of videotaping.
