Okay, leave out non-women too

I don't disagree, but you're looking at an image search feature that as others have pointed out, can only show you things that exist. People don't need to be creating graphics declaring men as generally stronger than women, but there will be many graphics of affirmational messages that include "strong" and "women", so that's what it will show you. including bias in their chatbots makes sense from a business standpoint, and that is something you'll actually encounter. I don't want to say it's imp…

Dude, pointing at non-issues is not helpful. There is real stuff to point to.

They aren't the same. It's not about being the same, it's about rights and protecting marginalized communities.

The implication they made was that you could just not get caught for 25 years and not have to worry about consequences anymore

Dude you said you don't want consequences to be possible given he is found guilty. I'd agree that accusations are really harmful when false and it should have consequences itself, but as far as I know nothing has happened yet.

Hiding for 25 years should NOT make you immune to the law. We weren't there and we don't know enough to decide if he is guilty or not. I don't know why your post was deleted exactly, but I'm just saying we don't need to defend someone from what could be valid accusations.

A lot of people are saying we need a life sentence for this. Does anyone have other ideas on this? I feel like some false accusations may be made, but other times the truth might never see the light.

congratulations! I don't know if you're still left uncomfortable, but her response was probably ideal, and as far as I can tell as an internet stranger, she demonstrates not only that she is understanding, but she knows precisely how much she needs to know to discard her idea

Lol I didn't expect to see another comment on broken clocks.

A broken clock is still right twice a day. I personally hate the dude, even if he is calling out blatant signs of widespread misandry. I'd be careful about associating with a nutcase though who happens to be prone to promoting hateful and marginalizing rhetoric. As far as the rhetoric isn't 'competing' so to speak, of the problems faced by either sex, it's probably fine. I just don't trust this figure as a voice of reason.

Nagging is bad communication. IMO, to not reciprocate with the same bad energy is to be putting in extra effort. If you don't want them to use the tone you're giving them, then you should switch yours.

Off topic, did you just combine arrived with arose? Or arrived with surfaced? It makes sense though most likely typo Edit: I realize someone referred to this and I would like to preemptively clarify I was just amused with the seemingly clever new word. Sorry for lack of substance

To say how I interpret it, it wasn't saying that's what all was said, they are saying that's the general perspective they were getting at. Bashing men doesn't help feminism and it doesn't support them individually, so they wanted to be socratic in Twox so help keep people level. What do you suspect is being misconstrued in the comment? I get it's not exact to the claim but I see how it could come up from trying to make a point.

I am happy you haven't been down voted. there really is a hefty portion of sexism in this subreddit, and it all needs to be confronted to retain the credibility of what men have for support. it gives me hope that this info isn't rejected here, and that there is solidarity for human rights across gendered issues.

as much as she calls out crap, she also engages in fueling hate and negative perspectives on both sides.

if you want to advocate for men in their struggles, please, do not come from this angle. I get that real conversations take place about the WNBA and their much smaller contracts, but you are fighting these idiotic arguments from a perspective that perpetuates the issues and unrealistic expectations which face men. to speak to men about how they have earned things by means of war, leadership, popularity, or hard work, you ascribe the value of men to bodies in conflict and individual success. with…

this is a decent take. i agree but I think it should be noted that there is a good (like, it's bad) amount of misogyny in this sub as well as the amount of misandry in the feminism sub. it may be important to have a battle on unfair systems or paradigms from multiple fronts but it still doesn't emphasize the fight against the overaching problems, and makes it easier to continue to discriminate within these distinct groups. people here say what they want about the feminism movement and I just thi…

to be honest, I don't really understand your point on number 6. other than that I agree with essentially everything. i know makeup has been used for thousands of years, but it still strikes me as odd looking at how glorified it is. the expectation of appearance really asks a lot from many women who aren't accustomed to valuing themselves unconditionally. women generally don't naturally look more "beautiful" than men, I would say. but a woman's naked face does begin to look more foreign as it is …

omg thank you. I'm a guy and can't stand the hatred of others for their self compassion. i really appreciate the bluntness of this. i also applaud your level-headedness and consistency in your replies to comments. it's tough to show understanding and respect struggles when it seems the other person doesn't do the same. you're doing great stuff here, and I just wanted to wish you the best.

hey dudes, who are here in men's rights, what is the men's rights community about? do we dislike that men are treated with different expectations and respect because we are men? do we dislike that a group of people are treated with less respect solely on an attribute to their character? do we criticize misandry within feminist crowds? why must we fuel ourselves on negative feelings? literally were all human regardless of metabolism, diet, exercise, or anatomy. it isn't good to spread misinfo on …
