I'm sure Tony Hawk fell flat on his face at some point, starting out.

I'm going to use that next time I feel like not going for it.

This is going to seem out of nowhere, but take a salsa dance class. All the insecurities you have now will come out during the class, and you'll be forced to work through it. You asking about how to go about every little thing means you're not comfortable in your own skin. She's going to sense that and it's game over before it even starts.

Honestly, being handsome. I'm overweight now, but at a 33 inch waist was when I'd occasionally have someone random want to strike up a conversation. Now it's only if they need something from me.

Match people's energy. Give as much to the relationship as they give you.

I heard a dating coach talk about this issue one time. IIRC Don't have one night stands. Hold off a bit, maybe the 2nd or 3rd date. I think it was because a girls not going to take the relationship seriously if it's a ons. It's also going to constantly remind them they gave "it" up so quickly.

Because she's a low quality woman attracted to a low quality man. You date your confidence level. So this should be a wake-up call for you and ask why you're attracted to someone like this. Maybe physically sure, but once she started talking and you found all this out it should've been a major turn-off.

Oneitis happens when you think you're not enough and you think some girl is going to make you a complete person. You have to work on the idea that you are enough and add that to your belief system

"But I no longer go out with them having the intention of hooking up." That was your mistake. Be impeccable with your word. Saying one thing and doing another is not good for anyone. Female friends can be amazing friends, but u want to have the same intentions. It can also help you out to get the girl you actually want. If she sees you able to have girl friends then she right away knows you're less likely to be a psycho.

The adhd guy has the right idea, but I wanted to add that whenever you feel comfortable, take a salsa dance class. It's literally all about learning how to lead. In life you lead with your body. The way you move the way you speak. Any hangups are going to show up right away. As you learn how to use your body, you will conquer those mental obstacles.

I used to think the way you do. This is needy behavior. Delete the convo if you don't want to see the conversion, but blocking means you feel like she owes you something, and it makes you angry. Nobody owes you a damn thing, especially online. Block her if it makes you feel better, but eventually, you have to work on the feeling of why this bothers you if you want to feel self-actualized.

It's not like they're the persons mom. It's not their responsibility to "teach" them anything. I'd say it's more about keeping your sanity and moral character. It's easy to screw a person over and get back at someone. The question is is that the person you want to be. Non-reactive meditation is the mindset I would personally think about the situation, but I think I can see why it wouldn't be an attractive way to approach things.

I heard a tip that a good text doesn't require a response. If u ask a yes or no question they can ignore it and the convo is dead. Open ended response leave things to be able to reconnect in the future.

I think the metoo movement might have something to do with it. It's like there was 3 types. Guys who don't know how to Flirt and give it a shot and might fall on their face. maybe be cringe but improve with time. Over time he turns into guy number 2. Guy 2 is a reasonable person. Shoots his shot, not creepy, reads social cues, respectful etc. Guy 3 is the creeper. Nuff said. When metoo happened, rightfully so, it gave Guy 1 the idea that " woman don't want to be bothered at all." "I don't want t…

I've gotten "girl" and had thoughts like yours. It doesn't mean anything. It's like a filler word in a conversation like uhm or uh.

Spend time finding out who you are and live an interesting life. Years ago during the summer I tried a new thing I've never done every week. New experiences will change and help you grow.

Lol, I think you expressed it perfectly. Lots of people meet their future husband/wife in the work place so why not. Life is too short.

I wish there was more responses like yours. I feel like I'm going through this, but it's not really something people can relate to. The women avoiding eye contact was so strange. I thought I was unknowingly doing something offputting it was so frustrating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
