You could probably use # of friends to approximate social skills I have 294 friends on Facebook; how am I doing? but they'd have to be "real life" friend Whaaat? Why's that? You mean like not online game friends, right? Bonus points if they're normies. Why? Normies seem to be shit in social situations a lot of the time. They also seem less likely to be a good/true friend to someone

Alright, alright describe "social skills" for me. What social skills are these dudes lacking that other dudes have, and are apparently key to being successful with women? And don't say "they're part of a circle." That's not a skill

Plus it's hot. So very, very hot That's about the only bad thing I actually have to say about it, but I'm stuck here, so yeah.. Whatever it takes to get the property value down!

In Colorado the state has an abortion fund that can cover the cost of an abortion if you're unable to afford one So does Texas, as far as I know. Of course, my info is almost 10 years old now, so I guess that could have changed.. In Texas to get an iud you need to shell out hundreds of dollars I THINK there's options here. And I'm pretty sure Planned Parenthood will work with you on this. If not, there's still the other forms of birth control. Of course, if you have insurance, all is well That b…

Women fought long and hard so a man goes to jail if he lays a finger on us. Solve your personal problems without violence maybe. I think I've clarified my personal stance on violence enough times, I'm not going to keep repeating myself Despite what you or I or anyone out there thinks, there's people out there who don't give a shit. There's people out there who won't tolerate shit talking. There's people out there that you either learn to watch your fucking mouth around, or you accept that there'…

You got it. That's my point exactly. Sure, there's men that think they're invincible or that no one is going to do anything to them, but just based on my experience, I'd say there's far less men like that than there are women I don't know what you'd call "nonsense," you'd probably have to give me an example. Most men say what they say DESPITE the fear of whatever violence may result It's ridiculous to claim that women have more reason to fear violence than men when men are the overwhelming major…

This is the same guy as I was dating a guy who wanted a casual relationship but lied and said he wanted something serious spent money time and effort on me for an entire year and then turned around and said he lied just for the cookie ? I dunno, depends what started that conversation I guess. Were you pushing for something more serious? Or did it come out of the blue? Or..? It's definitely not impossible that a guy would do all of those things just to have some reliable pussy on standby though
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/22 11:52 PM

The reason would be because most guys expect to have to put in a certain amount of money, time and effort in order to get sex I didn't miss it at all Also, I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, I promise. I'm not saying I agree with the stuff, just that it's kinda how men view things It makes sense to a man that women would be after money. It makes less sense that women would want time and effort. What do you even get out of our time and effort?

I don’t understand so many things. Why don’t other men get mad at other men who created the way women and men interact with each other socially? I mean I always see conversations about Beta and Alpha males. Gender roles, traditional relationships etc. When women actually apply and listen to these social rules MEN have established, they hate it. For example why do y’all get mad at women dating the supposed “rich chad” and not “nerdy socially awkward nice guy”, when you specifically outlined what …

Word. Now this has me wondering: what the hell do women say about their bfs when talking to their female friends? Oh that's right, women don't have friends, hah! Kidding, only kidding

we only say stuff like this for the boys. Nonsense. Talking like this is a good reminder to the females that you're more interested in fucking your gf than them If you show me a picture of your girl, my reaction is always going to be “wow, she’s fucking hot, good for you” Word? That's kind of fucking lame of you.. You should be honest, man because that’s the only reason you’re showing me that picture Uhh, no? What if I am asking the dude what his girlfriend looks like? Although, maybe he doesn't want to sound very romantic in front of other men, and just say something of common interest among men in general. Specially if he is not with men that he knows very much. So, in the end it shows something he like about her gf, but that doesn't mean that's the only thing he cares about, he can have a deeper love for her, but if nobody cares in the context, so why mentioning it? And no, for me, sex and love are not connected in that way for men, so if a guy only talks a…

To me it sounds incredibly superficial and gives me the impression that the guy is only with her for easy sex and doesn’t actually feel anything deeper than that for her It's just how guys talk. Not all of them, but the vast majority, I think. It doesn't necessarily mean anything, though, sorry Is that a correct assumption to make? No. You'd need quite a few more details than just this one thing. I'm a pretty loving guy and I still talk somewhat like that pretty often, though I'm aware of it and…

If a man talks about his girlfriend being caring and loving, other men lose respect for this man Definitely not true. I often will gain respect for this man, but rarely will I lose respect for him. I've never noticed or experienced men losing respect for other men over this. It’s scarcity mentality that is fierce. Believe it or not, in my own personal experience, scarcity mentality had nothing to do with it the fault with your premise is simple: you think that all relationships must succeed and if not you must force them to succeed. This man, in fact, speaks the truth. In my last shitfest of a relationship, when things were looking pretty grim, I had a few girls interested in me, and I'm sure I could have swapped right over to them (and they woulda been much better …

Additionally you said you don’t understand why as a boyfriend you wouldn’t be invited. This is another example of insecure attachment. This is an example of not being a dummy. Your comment made this post worth it :) I didn't know him then but she JUST came back to me after 25 years when she broke my heart and now she's gonna go run off to see some guy. If your mates talk to some gals does this mean you've lied to your girlfriend? Yes Why would the boyfriend want to go out to a hen party with no other boyfriends or husbands there? Sounds like a good time to me, I dunno. Personally I find the whole "girls' night," "guys' night" thing to be some weird childish sorta thing that would probably make me not date a girl just because of how goofy the idea is. It's not caring about her, if it was, maybe a text asking " how are ye getting on tonight" and maybe one asking how and when she's getting home would suffice. It's being anxious, insecure and looking for reassurance to the determent of her enjoyment of her time out. That's literally what I said. I suppose I said it in a comment and not in the OP, but yeah, that's what I meant. I'm not even sure what an anxious/insecure text would look like. I don't need the dumbed down version, it can be as complicated as you want Romantic partners are both adults. No controlling behavior should ever take place. Mutually agreed upon boundaries (as in lots of communication happens before an issue arises) are healthy but individual insecurities are not (your example was rampant with lack of communication and individual insecurities). Partners should be securely attached and trusting of each other. All things that should also be true between parents a…

As other people have pointed out, this girl probably wouldn't be okay if the guy was going out on guys' nights. Yes, the girl in the example is most likely a poor partner for any guy. Yes, the simple answer is to just leave her ass. But that still leaves her as a poor partner for any guy.. It's hard to see someone you care about be like this, because they're hurting themselves more than anyone, and they're delusional about it. Is there no way of getting through to them?

First of all, this is just an example, don't think of this as the only situation, apply whatever instance of controlling behavior you want Next, I don't see anywhere in this example where the guy is being insecure. The girl is being deceptive, she's being dismissive, she's lying to the guy, she doesn't take him into consideration at all, she is unappreciative of him caring about her, and she has the nerve to call him insecure on top of it all. Missing the point.. this is where if you're in the boyfriend's shoes, you just show up wherever these girls are and then go up and talk to them like you're one of these other strange dudes. Then when she gets mad you say "What? Of course there are going to be men here, it's a bar!"
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 11:33 AM

Controlling behavior is telling her she can't go out with friends and must ask you. Setting a boundary is saying that if you are exclusive you should not be going out independently with the opportunity to flirt and meet other guys. These are the same thing though
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 11:29 AM

You're missing the point here. Yes, there will always be guys wherever they go. Yes, they will always hit on the girls. WHY CAN'T HER BOYFRIEND GO?

I'd say the most common reason is because you love them and you really want to trust them. But yeah, just break up and find someone else right?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 11:22 AM
5

obviously because when the arrangements were being made, no one mentioned inviting any guys at all. I ain't ever hosted no gender exclusive events, no So the girl from the story, when these dudes end up joining their girl party; she isn't thinking "aw man this is fucked up, I told my bf no dudes and now these bitches have these dudes sitting with us.. they better not put a damn picture up on social media or something?" She just thinks nothing of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 11:20 AM

It's just a hypothetical. But I dunno, let's say he trusted her when they got married then. I was just trying to take away the option of just silently cutting the girl out of your life is all. That's a solid option, but I wanted to hear what this dude would do if it wasn't a situation where he couldn't just smoothly exit the stage
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 11:14 AM

If he doesn't trust her not to cheat without extreme measures Well uhh.. she's the one who has caused him not to trust her, sooo? You can only improve how you actually treat your partner, not anything they might suspect without proof. Word? Wouldn't bother me to wear a body cam.. I usually react to someone I care about not trusting me with "really? What can I do to make you trust me?"

Lemme explain. When I meant "a capacity for violence", I mean a willingness to fight and even kill if need be. Historically, men have always been the fighters, hunters, and killers, and men are usually more aggressive than women (Violent crime statistics will back this up). I've always thought of the people that are quick to get into a fight as childish at best. And if they're fighting just because they feel like they have to prove their manliness or something, that dude starts looking a lot lik…

I think many people conflate having standards and boundaries as being controlling when it absolutely is not. Your example breaks multiple boundaries I have so that relationship would be over. What boundaries are those?

Why get into a relationship with someone like that and then try to change their lifestyle? Maybe it didn't start happening until later in the relationship. Maybe she got a new job and made friends with a group of girls at work Or maybe you just thought hey, that's normal single girl behavior, but once she's in a serious relationship, that shit's going to be over with

You ARE supposed to be able to trust your partner, it DOES scream insecurity that he dislikes her going out with her friends. People in healthy relationships do need their own space and do deserve to have time with their friends. Find me a man on the planet that trusts the woman in this example

It’s controlling to expect your partner to ditch her friends for you He's not asking this And so what if there are men there?! Half the planet is male! Even if he doesn't like it, tough. She is doing things that have hurt him, and if he still doesn't like her doing activities she likes after making steps to make sure she isn't doing anything wrong, that's his problem. It might be a matter of "the damage is already done." If she had been ackin' right when she went out from the start, it might be different, but it's too late now But just for the sake of discussion, let's say you're right, the real issue is going out. What's that guy supposed to do?

I'm not sure she'll dismiss what you tell her. I'd say you will get hit with a slew of lines like "don't be insecure," "you're supposed to trust me. We can't have a relationship without trust," "you don't need to know everything that I do" "I need my own space sometimes too" "you're being controlling, you're reminding me of my ex!" on and on and on until even you believe you were just overreacting

I'll play devil's advocate here Has she even done anything wrong though? I mean, wrong enough to warrant a breakup? And let's be real here; the dude is thinking she's either cheating on him, or planning on cheating on him, right? So if he hits her with the "I want you to text me back, and I don't want you to act irritated when I text, and I want you to let me know when you'll be home, blahdyblah" stuff, even if she does adjust these things, he still ain't gonna like her going out, is he?

Men with higher IQs want more masculine women, and women with higher IQs want more feminine men. It's not necessarily that they want super masculine women, and super feminine men, it's that they want something more towards the middle. Basically, they're not as attracted to the extremely masculine men, or the extremely feminine women. I don't know exactly why, but if I had to guess, it's because people at those extremes are uhh.. fake I don't know what to tell you on the dominant thing. Dominant …

Indeed, it's become the prevalent attitude among young women, encouraged by institutions who promote that for women, by an educational system that promotes that for women and which is run by women, and by the media that promote the same shit. In the wise words of Eminem: "where were the parents at?" Good parents would negate all of these influences. And of course, bad parents create people who are more susceptible to the same influences I'm not sure if it's the prevalent attitude for sure or not…

Mostly just the fact that I could have made it worse. I sort of "lucked out" in the sense that I found a steady partner (my fwb). A lot of trauma survivors who do what I did will end up sleeping around with a lot of people, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can impact your self esteem, potentially expose you to health risks and safety risks (if they hook up with random strangers), and it can also end up manipulating how you view sex. I'm sure you could easily end up with another shitt…

While we don't know the exact reason for our varying sexual orientations, scientists believe it influenced by a mix of genetic, hormonal and environmental factors. So, that is why they are asexual. Same reason you are your sexual orientation, whatever that may be. Yeah but biologically, we all get pleasure from sex/orgasms right? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we biologically programmed to enjoy sex? Or at least orgasms? It's not that it's a joke, it's just that it's funny. Why? Because it sounds awful when you put it that way, but really, that's the exact question just about every guy is going to have in that situation, they would just try and phrase it nicely, or not ask it at all

I'm not gay either, but I would have sex with a guy. I'm not attracted to men the way I'm attracted to women, though (unless they're very feminine I suppose) I don't really know for sure if women/gay men are even attracted to men the same way straight men are attracted to women, I'd love to have that one explained to me as well So why do I like men?…

1st question - Wouldn’t the answer simply be “I’m not attracted to men or women sexually or feel sexual arousal”. Just like asking a gay guy why he’s gay he’ll probably say “I like to fuck dudes” And then I'd say "why?" How would any potential answer change your mind here? Course I'm speaking about shit that's really out of my range of expertise lol. I imagine a lot of lesbians' biggest fear is having their gf leave them for a man. I know it sounds awful to me

Monogamy is a choice, and an agreement. You are in complete control of whether or not you remain monogamous. There is no "naturally monogamous" or "naturally non-monogamous." That's not how it works..

Do you think sin starts at the level of fantasizing? That's 100% not true. The way I understand it, most prostitutes build up a regular clientele and stick with them as much as possible. Everything can be done online now, there's no more need for pimps and hitting the streets and all that nonsense. Naturally, this makes it a lot less appealing for a serial killer, since all you'd have to do is get on her phone/computer and look at the last guy she met up with. I find it laughable that people think they can just suddenly decide "alright now it's time to be mature, let me find some mature person to settle down with!" despite having just spent the last 5-15 years being flagrantly immature. With women, I try to keep them talking about themselves. They don't really care what a man is feeling outside of how it relates to her, so it's best not to volunteer emotions, or inner dialogue except to occasionally show empathy. The conclusion I've come to is if I clearly state how I feel to someone, and why I feel that way, then I've given them everything they need to understand me. Anger and frustration are like close if not the strongest male emotions. People like to say this, but in my experience, women are far, far more likely to express anger. Probably a dude not resorting to punching walls for starters. I'm assuming this is during an argument or something. But if you know the dude and are semi-friendly with him, meh, might come up, especially if you talk about sex as much as I do But yeah, I think it would be ideal if she would just tell you herself, it's just that so many women feel the need to hide information like that. I guess they're trying to protect you …

I have explained why. You just choose to ignore it. You don't actually have any clue all of the legal and financial things you have to do just to manage a long-term partnership even without kids when you choose to be committed, but unmarried. You have a vague idea of what it might be like but you in reality have no idea everything it entails. You have limited experience in relationships, especially successful long term ones and living successfully with a romantic partner. Yeah, I mean, if you …

That's not why, but it doesn't matter either way, because that's not what I was asking. You keep saying "if you don't want to get married, then don't have kids. If you want to have kids, you need to get married." This is what you believe. You can state it a million times if you want, but that doesn't mean you've explained WHY. You haven't, and I'm starting to think that is because you CAN'T

I don't know how many times I can say it: I don't want kids. I don't want to get married. Is this just breaking your brain? What about this concept do you not grasp? The part where this is a rhetorical question? You're of the opinion that you must get married before having children. I'm asking you "why?" This does not require that you want to have children or that you want to get married. Why do two people need to get married before they have children? If a man and woman both want a committed re…

Marriage is just creating a joint legal entity to care for a child. With two legal entities they get to fight over who pays for what, what's really "equal" and then they split up because, they're single legal entities and you still have a nightmare fuel custody battle and division of personal property which will be disputed. Uhh.. marriage doesn't mean you don't fight over who pays for what.. I can go create a joint bank account with anyone I want right now, married or not. And if I am married, …

Men. How much does it matter to you? Why does it matter to you? I don't care if I'm not automatically the best lover they've ever had, I could be with a woman for years and still not tried everything sexually that I want to with her, so this is kind of a strange question. I do want to try to become the best lover they've ever had. You can tell a woman you don't believe in legal marriage. You just have to explain why and there's the rub. It's not even that you don't believe in marriage, you think it leaves you vulnerable, gives a woman power over you and you and you don't want that. That's the problem. Trust me, I always explain why. I'm inviting them to tell me what they think, and why/if they disagree. It's not that I THINK it leaves me vulnerable, it's that I KNOW it does. Which would be perfectly fine with me, if there…

So many women today are BROKEN, at least partly because of this. Empty, soulless, loveless creatures roaming around destroying the lives of anyone who dares care about them. A man that acts like this will be told he has a personality disorder (narcissism). Meanwhile it's normalized or even encouraged for women Give it time, though, things will change. A good start would be if people would STOP ENABLING this behavior (in women and men both). It is NOT human nature. It is NOT female nature

Or for insurance purposes if you're in the US and desperate Fair enough, but if a woman is going to leave me because I won't marry her for insurance purposes then uhh.. I guess that's fine As I said in the event you are ever honest with a woman she will likely not want to be in a relationship with you and certainly not have children with you. Well, upon further thought, I do admit that you don't need to be married for a woman to ruin your life, take your children away from you and get child support from you. But she would find taking half of everything far more difficult :)

If a man doesn't want kids: it's his. Sorry. Otherwise he's at the mercy of whatever the woman decides and it could be an outcome he doesn't like. Child support for example. Have your wages garnished for 18 years. Enjoy. All because men couldn't sack up and get a snip snip. Or he cries a woman "killed his child". Zero sympathy. Legally it is, sure. You can procreate without getting married, so.. no? The future of relationships will remain basically the same, because a monogamous relationship is the most viable option for the majority of people. I'm sure, but I was talking about the ones who find out that no matter how "high value" you are, that girl can still cheat on you, or decide to divorce you, or stop having sex with you, or stop loving you. And their whole belief system comes crumbling down..

Key word you mention is rich. Middle class/ making 50k with a dad bods are not knocking down 18 year old hot freshman. Maybe not 18 but they seem to be doing pretty well in the 22-30something range

Yep, biologically it makes sense for males and females both to be more attracted to younger people. However, biology has no control over how much a dumb bimbo wants to have a nice new designer purse, or ride in a lambo, or party on a yacht, or whatever it may be. And these alphas are more than happy to work away the early years of their life just to "become the man" these bimbos are "attracted" to. The kind of man these girls will "submit" to And they even say "I'm not afraid of her cheating on …

And I think that’s complicated because I don’t think arousal is necessarily voluntary, although certainly women that know their bodies better will have an easier time getting into that state You don't think arousal is voluntary? Do you masturbate?

Put more pressure on her. Tell her it's lame if she just waits for you to do everything. Tell her sex is better if she actually knows what she likes and is able to tell/show you. Tell her you're not going to stay with some chick who says she likes sex but acts like she isn't even interested. Seriously, tell her she's shit in bed, and more importantly, tell her how to fix it. Alright, I guess you could leave out the part where you tell her she's shit in bed if you wanna be nice Personally, I don'…

only way I can combat it is acting like I'm not that interested in taking things past sex, I wanna be able to compete and be able to do things for myself and women instead of worrying about all the things the guys she cheating on me with has that I don't. You can't combat it, and you shouldn't try to If women were honest (both to themselves and to everyone else), then when she got into a relationship with you, she would tell you "I like you, but if I see a man that's better off than you/more int…

However, I know women who are 33-35 who exclusively date like 48-53. I find it weird. Your partner is going to be suffering the effects of old age issues when you are still relatively youthful. "Your partner is going to be suffering the effects of old age issues when you are still relatively youthful." Exactly! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PTEqZURh4o

Well said. Then they spin it as "they're not attracted to your money, they're attracted to the type of man that can make that kind of money" or "they're not interested in the money, they're interested in the kind of lifestyle an alpha male has, and can provide them" or one of the many goofy lines they like to throw around

This is where I'm at right now, exploring again my single life. I just hooked up with a woman 11 years younger an hour ago after chatting some in a FB group page and posting a pick of me shirtless (see my post history) so I'm not suggar coating this, yes, older men are at an advantage when it comes to getting women, and this is for ALL women in ALL age brackets. Question for you: does sex with a woman that much younger feel strange to you at all? I've never had sex with a girl >1 year younger th…

If she made every guy she ever had sex with wait a whole year, then yeah, that's totally different. I'd still like her to explain WHY she insisted on that, but I'd have to respect her decision regardless I trust the virgin more for essentially the same reason: because it's not like she was having sex with some dudes on the first night but with me she's gotta wait a year. She's a virgin! I would assume this rule was true for anyone, not just me. Plus there's all the stress/pressure/anxiety that g…

I think it would be more appropriate if the man were to just flat out tell the woman that he is going to have sex with other people until she is ready. In the specific example you gave, it seems like the girl is just using the guy for whatever she can get from him, so I think it would be fitting if he cheated on her the whole time until she finally gave it up to him, yeah. But in general, lying is bad Interesting spins: Does your view on this change depending on if the woman: is a virgin: I trus…

A few reasons: 1.) They're awkward themselves/couldn't work up the courage/don't even know how to "make a move" 2.) They're worried about how you may respond (don't want to creep you out) 3.) They didn't feel like you were interested in them (didn't feel like they had a chance with you) Likely some combination of all three. Very unlikely that they're just plain not sexually attracted to you. Note that I wouldn't say that every guy that talks to you is doing so BECAUSE they're attracted to you. T…

I appreciate your humility, it's a great trait to have and sorely lacking in many women today But, I am here to tell you that it's safe for you to assume that every guy who spoke to you was sexually interested in you. And those are just the ones who actually spoke to you..

Men do not say to you "Oh, don't worry about her. She's just a friend...". Never happens. Sadly, my ex-best friend was this man. He pulled stunts like inviting his girlfriend to his birthday party that another girl who was "just his friend" had planned for him (of course he was cheating on his gf with this girl). He got chlamydia when he cheated on his girlfriend while he was on vacation in another state, then told his gf that he got chlamydia from a toilet seat. And of course, this is the same …

And then completely deny that she chose that person intentionally because she knew it would hurt you more. Even online, where they are completely anonymous, women will say "I didn't do it to hurt him, I'm not that kind of person!" Horse shit. I have a theory that this IS women cheating out of boredom. It's just that fucking a random in a club isn't exciting to them, why would it be? They can do that anytime they want. Seducing his best friend, leaving traces and watching as he slowly picks up on…

I understand, but you said "9/10 men who I know have cheated have done do because they've been bored of fucking the same woman." If you found out your wife cheated on you just because she got bored of fucking you and wanted someone new (no romantic feelings involved), wouldn't you still be hurt? Couldn't she have talked to you about it? Don't you still feel betrayed? Don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing with your point. Women seem to pull the most soul-shattering acts of infidelity while men …

See, it's the BS that goes along with it whilst it's happening. You get told you're the love of her life, the only man for her etc yet she's telling some other man this too. That's a kick in the teeth, my friend. To be fair, it's kind of sad to think that the man (or woman) you love, adore, and have given up your time for has gotten bored of having sex with you. So bored that they will go so far as to betray you just so they can have sex with someone "new and exciting." Especially if they do it …

Women shouldn't lower their standards , men should be better. More men should be encouraged to be fit and look after themselves physically just as women do. Look after themselves physically "just as women do?" Give me a break, the average woman is no better physically than the average man, it's just that most men are content with an average or even below average woman physically, and it's not just because they're lonely or don't have any other options. There's more important things than how some…

There is no unacceptable number. No matter the number, I do think it's worth talking about though. And as the number gets larger (say.. >25-50?), the more it's going to require some conversation/explanation. I'm 28, if I was talking to a 28 year old girl who told me she's had sex with >100 guys, I'd mostly be curious WHY? I mean, one guess is because they just love casual sex, right? So then why are they now looking for a monogamous relationship with me? Is it even possible for them to give up c…

Well, maybe I'm wrong but I think most men would say they respect the woman who came and told them straight up way more than the one that kept it a secret until he found out, or 5 years down the line she "just couldn't live with the guilt anymore." And I think the world would be a better place if women were taught that

True, but aren't they a worse liar and cheater than someone who says "alright, I'm pregnant, now I have to tell him the truth, I can't do THAT to him?"

I'm not sure if that's a "probably." At the very least, they know there's a chance that it isn't yours. I'd figure they ought to feel compelled to come clean about the cheating at this point, but how often is that what happens?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/22 02:25 PM

What makes it worse is that you probably/usually don't find out about the cheating until well after you find out about the pregnancy. How long do you go thinking she's pregnant with your kid? A few months? Or even well after the kid is born? Now how attached have you already become? It's one of the worst kinds of betrayal I can imagine, and plain ol cheating doesn't come close. But yes, I do agree with you that betrayal is the problem
