I didn't say male model either.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 02:11 AM

Can you post a step-by-step algorithm with guaranteed success or at least high chances of success please? Idk if you're serious but the answer here is taking care of your mind and body. Confidence and self-care is attractive for men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 01:58 AM

Men want to get into that percentage, which is the whole point of TRP. That makes no sense given that instant attraction is mostly about being very good looking.

I meant that they demonstrate wanting to be loved, not that they say those exact words. Like, they demonstrate a genuine need to feel loved and wanted. While in love bombing people put their partner on a pedestal and focus on wanting their partner love them rather than coming from a place of needing to feel loved. I think the best that I can explain what I mean is in cases of desperation the desperate party is focused on how their partner makes them feel. In cases of love bombing the love bomber…

I don't think they manifest in the same way, despite similarities. The way I think about it is, love bombing is kind of like saying: I love you so much. Desperation is kind of like: Please love me. Both shower the man/woman with too much love, attention, etc. too soon, and many women can recognize both and aren't into either one.

Not attracting "chads" as you say is one thing, but not attracting men after 30 just isn't a real thing that happens. As people get older they start to put less value on looks/youth and more value on personality compatibility. Some men are overly focused on looks sure, and some men aren't. It's probably best for women to avoid the first group of men at any age. We all age, and you want someone that's there for you as a human being not losing interest as you lose your collagen.

What's the wall then? Isn't it that men don't wanna chase a woman over 30?

What you're doing right now: Someone: "I have cancer and it's hard." You: "Well kidney failure is hard too. People with kidney failure struggle just as much. What about kidney failure, huh?" Learn to not invalidate people's experiences when making an argument.

Always being talked over/looked over. At 5'2'' the 6' men don't even see me at meetings/events. Getting a word in is a struggle. This extends to advancements at work. Being physically smaller and having a quiet voice has a huge effect on how you're perceived. You're always assumed to be shy/sweet/weak, while the 6' guy is assumed to be strong and assertive. There was a world of difference in how I was treated working in a male dominated vs female dominated office, doing essentially the same work…

My grandma was widowed at 60. She's been going on dates with really cute dudes her age, and having a great time. The "wall at 30" is a myth perpetuated by social media. Senior communities get wild.

You’re not really making any sense mate. When it comes to women paying for a hook up, it’s usually that 10/10 looking male stripper at the hen party. Who was talking about a woman paying for a hookup? I literally can’t think of anything else other than that, that remotely comes close to a male prostitute that gets female clients Again, no one was talking about female clients. Only you are bringing that up.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/21 12:07 PM

If taxes is slavery then how can you make taxpayers pay for people's kids? Also, again, by definition none of this is slavery. A slave is a person that is the legal property of another. Being forced to give up a part of your paycheck isn't slavery. You're misusing the word.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 05:04 PM

Taxes?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 07:29 AM

My point is that women needed men to be their defense against survival pressure. They don't today. This solidified into family groupings as we advanced socially and technologically. Without this arrangement, we wouldn't exist in our current state and would still be the early human tribes you're so enamored with. No twitter activism, no reddit, just you and foraging for what you're going to eat today while you bitch about patriarchy that won't do anything for you. Neither you nor I can say what a…

Women couldn't simultaneously hold back against survival pressure and raise young. And men can't raise young or have kids, what's your point? Early human tribes would still be early human tribes and not modern civilization if we did not adapt. What's your point? Thanks for your opinion on what "enslaved" means. If women can opt in or out of unwanted pregnancies, but men are forced into whatever decision she makes, the man is enslaved to her decisions. That's literally not what enslaved means. Me…

The human race continued because men would sink resources into their offspring and push back against survival pressure. Women didn't sink anything into offspring? Like making it? Feeding it? Caring for it? Thus the need to ensure that their offspring were indeed theirs and the heavy social shame on "bastards". This did not occur in early human tribes. Now men are enslaved to women who have complete social control over not only when they have children, but who pays. I don't think you know what "e…

So what does kidnapping brides have to do with anything? And I think it's obvious that culturally men are pressured to not be submissive.

Lol, I assure you that being "strong and confident" does not enhance a woman's attractiveness to men. Maybe not to you. It does to many, many men. Because all men aren't a monolith. And you know what, good luck finding a weak and insecure woman and being happy together.

No proof, just my general observation that sexual submissiveness is extremely common among women and that this is consistent with our evolutionary history. (It's rape. Rape is common in evolutionary history) I think that taking of men as war grooms was pretty unusual compared to the taking of women as war brides. No proof, just my general sense. I'm not talking about war grooms. I'm talking about slavery. Any enslaved person, man or woman, benefits from submitting. Just because women were marr…

Probably the full details are lost to history, but it seems likely that pulling this off would have required her to cooperate and to convincingly shift her loyalties to this warlord. Slavery. This is slavery. What kind of traits are we selecting for when a reproductively successful woman is one who cooperates with a man who so completely dominates her? And is it a coincidence that so many women have fantasies which entail being dominated by high status men? Consensual bdsm play =/= as rape. No…

Gender roles back then are far from what they evolved into. Humans lived in small tribes and communally raised kids. It was never one man, one woman for 60 years alone in the suburbs with two kids at school most of the day. Men being the provider came out of a necessity, and the necessity is gone.

Social pressure might play a role, but I'm pretty confident that natural tendencies play a big role. Submissiveness is just so common among women, even among feminist women who were raised by feminists. Proof? Moreover, it completely makes sense given our evolutionary history as a species. In the ancestral environment, bride kidnapping was definitely a thing and from a genetic perspective, a woman faced with such a situation would have been better off submitting to her kidnappers. This is true f…

In other words, she submitted to male authority. Raped. She was raped. And let me tell you, men love to be submissive in the bedroom. And outside the bedroom. They love it when a woman makes their doctor's appts, tells them what needs to be done around the house, initiates sex then jumps on top. Plenty of men don't want a submissive wife, as much as they want a woman that doesn't expect anything from them or complain. Not the same thing as submissiveness. People wanna be loved for their shitty s…

The human race isn't even a million years old, and traditional gender roles are rooted in power and control over women. Traditional gender roles says a woman sits in her suburban house in a dress and cleans/cooks while the kids are at school. "Natural" is humans living in a tribe, spending their days hunting for food and care for children collectively. Traditional housewives roles are as natural as microwaves.

UPS, Amazon, and similar companies sure. But construction, and landscaping, it is harder. There also tends to be a bit more sexism in those fields than average. That being said, a lot of women don't apply for those jobs to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 01:30 AM

I think you may have me confused with the original comment lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 11:07 PM

I agree that there's a lot of unfair blaming of men, but it's usually both, and sometimes one or the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 10:15 PM

I mean there are situations in which a man or woman can try hard and still not match their partner's libido. It could be hormonal, medication side effect, health related, age related, stress related, etc. When someone is in a new relationship hormones go crazy, and over time fade away for both men and women as well so that's another factor. The truth is mismatched libidos have to be handled on a case by case basis. The causes are always going to be different, and sometimes it's fixable, sometime…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 10:04 PM

I mean what you've described sounds like a communication problem. And it goes both ways too. Women can also stop putting the effort into sex, making it lackluster and bad.

I'm not sure what your point is
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 09:59 PM

It goes for men too. If a man stops getting haircuts, dresses like a middle schooler and puts health on the back burner he's gonna get less attention too. Humans like beautiful humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 08:46 PM

If you're both putting in 100% and it's not working, then it's time to go your separate ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 08:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 08:20 PM

As a man, I would prefer that women drop the charade altogether and start portraying themselves more accurately and realistically, The issue with that is unless all women do it all the time, the ones that put in the effort will generally get much more attention/success.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/21 08:02 PM

I don't think the quality of sex has any effect on one's libido at all It has an effect on the persons desire to sleep with a specific person. No one wants bad sex, men or woman. Both have to keep putting the effort in for ever if they want a good sex life.

Well if the woman you want doesn't want someone like you, then you have a few options: pursue a different type of woman, or accept that it's gonna take time to meet the kind of person you wanna be with that also wants to be with you. Once you get older, you could consider settling/compromising on some of your preferences if you haven't had success. You could also think about why you are attracted to religious women? Everyone's "good woman" is gonna be different. So the question you should ask is, where does your "good woman" look for men? At church? Playing sports? Online? The second question would be, would your "good woman" date someone like you? Why or why not?

That's a study of 2000 women, and says nothing about how quickly anyone slept with anyone so I'm not sure what you're getting at with that. the majority of this small sample only had 1-2 of these encounters in their lifetime.

Idk, I really like twilight....but irl, I don't care how hot you are, if you break into my house to watch me sleep I'm calling the cops. A novel is a safe space to explore a fantasy. I also like war movies, doesn't mean I wanna be in a war...you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:30 AM

Isn’t it funny how women only have “poor impulse control” for chad. Some women do. Some don't. Like men, women aren't a monolith. And like men, yeah....it's harder to say no to someone very attractive. Everyone has poor impulse control with beautiful people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:28 AM

I don't think you realize the consequences of sleeping with someone you don't know well, like STD's and assault. The better you know someone, the better chance you have of vetting for problems. Also that aside, plenty of women don't wanna get attached to a guy due to having sex if she's unsure about him as a potential partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:26 AM

Empathy is a morally neutral trait at best and results in in-group prejudice at worst. That's just not correct. Normal, mentally healthy adults have empathy. Not having empathy results in a diagnosis. It's not neutral or normal to not have it.

Not splitting the bill makes no sense in today's world. It's outdated and there isn't a single good argument for it. I can't say I want equality and expect men to pay for me.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 06:40 AM

They don't perceive Edward as a stalker because he's a fantasy superhuman that can't die. They would 100% perceive a man breaking into their house at night to watch them sleep as a stalker in real life. Because people know that fantasy isn't reality.

If the good looking guy has a good personality then they're gonna want him. Just like if a pretty girl has a good personality, you want her. Being able to find hookups isn't the same thing as being able to find a relationship. Most adults are able to find some mate. It's not a his and hers "mating strategy." Jesus why would you call it that? Being the "mom" is something a man or woman can feel. It's a jokey way to describe being the more "responsible one." The one that has all the doctors appointments on their calendar, doesn't forget birthdays, does the chores, etc. In my personal experience I've seen both men and women take on this role. Women just tend to be more vocal about being in this sort of dynamic than men, in my experience. The mom thing just app…

It has been verified that women are overall LESS happy today than in the 1950’s! Proof? Also, I don't really understand why you have such a problem with the modern world or feminists. Just live your life. No one is stopping you from being conservative. Idk where you live, but here in the US, there are tons of conservative people that have a traditional life. Just be happy you have choices and make whatever choices you want. Women aren't a monolith. They don't all wanna be a housewife. So don't d…

Look man, you can live your life however you want. Find you a feminine girl, go work, while she stays home with the kids. As long as other people have the choice to not live that life, society is on the right track. I can't speak to the 80s or 90s in America, I wasn't alive/ didn't live there and simply don't know much about it. There problems in the world now, there were problems in the 80s and 90s. But I can't really complain.

Ah yes, the 60s! One of the best things about the 60s is young men got to go to Vietnam, which is much more exciting than playing GTA 5. Another thing we can love about the 60s is that it kept black and white people neatly separated. In fact they were so organized, they separated people by color, genitals, and even sexual orientation! If you think this lovely organizational system ended in 1970, I've got good news!

Well by definition, patriarchy is just a society with men in positions of power. It happened to be the type of government we have had throughout history. Attributing gender roles/discrimination only to the fact that men were in power as opposed to women/a mix of men and women is flawed logic. Having women in power, or children, or cats, doesn't mean gender roles/discrimination would or would not have happened. There were a large multitude of factors that led to the gender roles and gender discri…

I think it's imperative that more feminist women begin to realize that for true equality/equity, men's issues need to be acknowledged and addressed. A movement towards equality has been turned into a competition, with two sides constantly hating on each other, and little progress being made. Both side have their issues, but they are so interconnected. This post really grinds my gears, because it's like, what about men of color, gay men, who have not had many rights straight white women have in r…

I can see that point of view. I don't know if I see a problem with single men or women choosing to work less and enjoy life. Money isn't and shouldn't be the end all be all in life for everyone, and if more people choose to be single longer, then it's no problem if they don't wanna work as hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 11:18 PM

Thanks for explaining that well. I think I understand the sentiment. I think to believe this I would need workplace data to prove that women are getting jobs over men for just being women. There are still male dominated and female dominated fields, like nursing vs construction, but that hasn't changed in a very long time. I'd love evidence that women have advantages over men in the workplace. A lot of data suggests otherwise, since we see most company leaders to still be men, and many women take…

I think it's possible. I think we're in a time of a lot of "all men suck" vibes, and that needs to stop. Then encourage men to have strong friend groups, encourage men to open up, and to learn good self care. I feel like this only applies to online dating. In real life/on in person dates men and women are rejecting each other at similar rates. If that's the case, blame the poor setup of dating apps, not women. They are designed with men as their "paying" customers, and made in a way that makes men want to pay for the perks. We should ask why more men go on apps than women, and why men swipe on everyone while women do not, when men and women make up equal portions of the population. That being said, b…

I think it's crazy to say men don't work because they can't get women. Women are half the population, so either everyones single or women are better at being alone? I think the message the world is a little misinterpreted here. I think the message of the world is more about women and men doing what makes them happy regardless of gender. Interesting way to write "I've never had a girlfriend"

If they ever watch videos of ex-porn stars talking about those abusive scenes, it becomes very clear it is not two consenting adults "acting." Women end up in pain, in the ER, bleeding, passing out, with permanent damage to their health, and threatened for not doing the work/scenes. When someone is screaming in pain and crying real tears it's not "acting." Many take drugs to deal with the physical pain, and have life long mental health issues. That's just the best case scenario. So many of those…

I feel like he never crossed a line with Eowyn, and was perfectly respectful. I don't think he pressured Arwen into that choice, she was thousands of years old and wanted a family with him.

Kinda random, but I always thought about Aragorn and Arwen. Very loving and respectful.

He should do her a favor and just leave. This is so sad. That poor woman is throwing her life away.

Totally agree. My goal is to always be able to provide for myself, and keep my assets and money separate, so I'm never in a situation where I depend on a man, or where leaving a man puts me in a bad financial position.

This is why I will never legally marry. Have a wedding? Sure. But I don't want the government involved in my relationship.

I did that. Dated a guy I wasn't attracted to because I thought he would be nice and treat me well. Ended up cheating on me twice. "nice guys" and/or unattractive guys aren't inherently better.

Why doesn't anyone advocate for getting mental health help if your fetish is cannibalism, instead of saying it's ok?? Like being turned on by eating humans is clearly not healthy even if you never hurt anyone...I can't imagine the mental health issues someone must have to be "turned on" by wanting to eat humans. Like wtf?

I just love it when men have a "strong connection" with someone they've talked to like once. Ugh.

This is so sad. How could the tattoo artist agree to this??

As someone who grew up with a low value father figure, this is such a great point.

Looking back at my past relationships I realize I've never enjoyed sex. I was always just giving into some guy's fantasy, and doing things that deep inside I found degrading. I was in denial for so long about how I felt. I convinced myself I was doing everything right, but now, never again. I'm so glad I found this sub. It's the first time I've felt validated. All my friends are very "sex positive" but it's really just "let men do whatever they want to you" and I'm over it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
