My rule is to only be friends with women you're not physically attracted to. Gets too frustrating when they eventually get a boyfriend otherwise.

When one of you gets up off the bed/couch and returns that's a good moment to shift things since it's a period of transition. Ideally, it's you that gets up so you can figure out what to do. If she's lying on the bed, kneel down so you're at the same height then go in for the kiss. Give her a second or two to prepare (it should be obvious what you're going to do though) then just lean in. Our you can slowly put your hand out, stroke her face/hair to build intimacy then go in. I know it's sounds …

Most/many times I went to club nights with my mind on girls very little happened. Not all the time but probably 75‰ Those times I went simply to dance and enjoy the music, I had girls picking me up. Go figure. I guess they perceive it as non-threatening. I know it's difficult but focus on fun and the women will come to you when you least expect it.

Totally this. I remember making out with a girl at her place after a bar night (we worked at the same ski resort so knew each other a bit). Things are going fine, kissing etc. Then she suddenly just bolts upright and kicks me out. Everything happened under 2 minutes. I definitely think it reminded her of a bad experience, possibly even sexual assault or something. There was just something in the way she seemed to panic. Anyway my point is that sometimes you can never tell what's going on in situ…

Besides the obligatory "Fuck her, go anyway" comment, I'd like to point out that if she doesn't have the deceny to reply to or even acknowledge your text she's totally not worth your time. To me that's just plain rude so why be interested in someone like that? There are tons of nice girls out there and probably quite a few at this party you're definitely now going to. Right??

Understandable but if you hit it off and k-close, then I'd think your best bet is f-close second date or hope for a BJ proximate to the club. It's good to plan but these things happen so randomly you need to be prepared to think on your feet.

Dude, public transportation?? Really? Just pay the cab fare. Also, cross that bridge when you get to it. Maybe she has a car. Who knows..

No offense taken. It's more complicated than I'm willing to go into on an Internet forum but essentially if you think of your personality as a pie there is no way that one person will satisfy all of your needs for the rest of your life. Open marriages aren't 100% about fucking either people anyway. They're about getting all of your emotional and physical needs met in several relationships. And yet our common idea of marriage dictates that you shouldn't. Why do you think divorce rates are so high…

I was married for 8 years. She was always talking about open marriages. Met a co-worker a couple years ago. Asked wife if she was serious about open marriages. She said yes. Co-worker and I started relationship. It was awesome. Brought my wife and I closer together. Reinvigorated our flat sex life. Highly recommended. Was good to know I could still attract woman (she was blonde, D cup tits). Wife and I didn't have kids though which made things a lot easier. I don't think it would never happened …

Recently separated 39-year-old here. Listen to this guy. Marriage is about your relationship between you, your partner and the state. It's about signifying your commitment to each other in front of friends and family, basically to demonstrate that you're serious about providing for this girl and any kids you might one day have. You don't need to get married to do that. You just reduce your legal options. And that sex kitten thing will disappear eventually. Sorry but it will. It's only natural. B…

But all of a sudden the convo seems to go cold: Dude if you think this is you getting the cold shoulder, you're in for a rough time. As seddittips said, you're over thinking things. Be direct, text again in a day or two. But don't get caught up on trying to analyze everything she says. People are busy. They have lives. It's not like she didn't text back at all.

I know this comment is three months old but I just wanted to say this this one - out of all of them on the page - really hit home for me. Thanks for the advice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
