Men often choose homelessness. Got one around where I live who summers here and winters somewhere south. Story goes he gets a good amount of money every month yet prefers to be outside. Women and men who "don't work" are rich enough to do that. Everyone else does because we are entrenched in capitalism. Homemakers are slaves. They "work", hard, NO PAY, NO SICK TIME, AND NO VACATION, PAID OR OTHERWISE. For room and board. And sex on demand. Slavery, get it? Production is human, "work" is a human construct. Men who work for room and board are priests and prisoners.

Washing dishes for a family. Three times a day. 24/7. For no money. Not one fucking dime. Not "with other male workers". Not with heavy equipment. Never alone. Active, not static like standing at a sink. Well paid. Drinks with buddies from work. Oil field prostitutes. Go ahead. You're lonely and work hard. No kids to get home to because there's no one else to take care of them. Hey, you get pics on the phone you have to look at. No wonder a woman invented the dishwasher.

No manual labor, eh? In 1800s Scotland the women worked the mines. Who does the manual day to day labor that keeps families from falling into chaos? No onder a woman invented the automatic dishwasher. With the daily grind falling on mainly women, the invention of anything by women is a miracle.
