Everyone has intrusive thoughts and thoughts that are generally bad. I've had some really bad thoughts throughout my years. That doesn't mean I don't have those feelings. And understanding those feelings is really important to ensure that you don't end up with major issues down the line.

Lust is a feeling. The whole point of naturalizing and normalizing lust is to say it's okay to feel those feelings, because, well, we cannot control our feelings. Telling women not to feel lust is just illogical, and it made women feel guilty about their emotions that they literally cannot control. So yes, lust in and of itself is okay. How that lust is expressed or how you act upon those emotions is an entirely different discussion. Lust doesn't always mean promiscuity or something like that.

The end of Roe V Wade has been pretty shit across the board, but I don't think it's been all that impactful on dating. People are still being dumb, or getting unlucky, or having all sorts of other issues caused by this, but I have yet to see any data suggesting that Roe V Wade is the cause of any major issues in this department. This is especially true when you consider that most women who are apart of the feminist movement tend to also live in areas without abortion bans.

This has to be rage bait. "It just broke my heart to see a LAB GROWN DIAMOND. OH THE AGONY!" Sit yo ass down. Damn. These men are giving it their all to make their women happy, and you're out here criticizing them. Tell me, when's the last time you got something nice for your partner? Don't you think you'd feel pretty crappy if you bought your BF/Husband something nice, and he said "But I wanted X, not Y"?

My fiancé proposed in the place we had our first date, and he had a bunch of other stuff planned through the whole day. I would've said yes either way, so I do agree that if a woman changes her mind depending on the location, she isn't the one, but that said it's a really really great memory now vs something where I go "Man, he just didn't put any effort in at all"

I almost agree. In my experience, most men I've dated didn't care that I made good money, but they did really like how much I loved my job and how much I dedicated to it. Passion is something that can be attractive to men, at least in my experience.

That's just fundamentally false from any biological perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/24 05:51 PM

Because you made the kid. Step TF up. Either pay enough so that the primary guardian can get childcare(which isn't cheap in most places) or step up and care. That is your responsibility. You should've wrapped it up or not had sex.

Going through heartbreak or something? My fiancé is my forever person. I have no intentions of ever leaving him or doing anything to hurt him. Also, families break up and have issues and NC too.

Destigmatizing it means more women will go into it. That is awful. Women are exploited and mistreated like hell.

These are really old stereotypes that are dying with younger generations. Women are "possessive" in the sense that they want a committed partner, just like tons of men do too. It's more common for there to be deadbeat fathers, or there to be women wanting to marry rich or something, but really it goes both ways. I see plenty of men looking for wealthier women, and plenty of women who are deadbeat mothers. It happens both ways. I always see women talking about guys being thirsty, not loyal etc an…

Pew research is probably the best respected statistical data and polling firm in the US. And yes, it does primarily apply to the states, as much of the entire discussion does.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/24 06:35 AM

It's not really 100% wrong. Pew research has young men aged 18-29 at 63% single, while women aged 18-29 at 34% single. Now, some of this can be explained away as lesbians being more likely to be committed than gay men, some of it with women considering situationships or some other type of relationship to be committed while the male partner does not, and some away as a good amount of young women tending to date the same men(with or without their knowledge). However, there is still a considerable …

Well, most people don't have fit and healthy partners, which further reinforces the bad habits. Overweight people tend to attract other overweight people. It's similar lifestyle. But there is also an effect in psychology where you mirror a lot of habits of your partner, and the most common of those is health. If one partner takes care of their looks and health a lot, it subconsciously forces the other partner to focus on that too.

Few things here. First, women are also visual creatures. It's just that so many men put so little effort into their looks that a lot of men can't visually stimulate a woman. Second, a lot of men absolutely need emotional connection to get off. It's a psychological fact that pair bonding results in a significant increase in the amount of happy chemicals the body releases during sex, and, well, every other activity. Third, it sounds like you're giving a lot of credit to women, while being very neg…

This is generally true. If you're a fit person and work out, it's actually psychologically engrained into your partners mind to also be fit and healthy. Basically, just by being fit and healthy, you automatically give your partner the idea that working out and fitness are beneficial.

I'd like to propose an alternative idea. One of the common things in psychology is that your brain reinforces these habits when it leads to good things. When you lie and cheat and perform bad actions and are rewarded with sex(dopamine and all those good chemicals), your brain continually becomes trained that these bad habits are good for you. This means that, eventually, you train yourself to become a bad person that manipulates, lies, and mistreats others, because your brain believes that you w…

Rape fantasies are extremely common, and have a lot of different roots. Fiancé is a psychologist, and they had a whole course on why people think and feel the way they do about sex and kinks. One of those was rape. It can come from extreme levels of guilt at the idea of sex, usually from religious households where sex is taboo. It can come from the idea of being desired so badly by someone that they would break the law and risk jail just for a chance to have sex with you. It can come from the id…

Yeah, this is objectively true. Red pill has a lot of overlap with self improvement and general factual truth, such as the idea that being attractive and charismatic are important to dating, but it also gets a lot wrong about women, because the red pill also teaches men to generally view women as "less than" in a lot of ways, and the type of women attracted to red pill guys are generally never the types of women you'd want to marry. If it's any reconciliation, there is always a person out there …

I guess Warren Buffett is pretty cool. I don't know, I think it's dumb to have a true "Role model" in that sense, but I do have people who I admire, both male and female.

I meant stamina as in the ability not to get gassed during sex. You can cum and take 15, or do foreplay, but nothing can help when a guy gets through 10 pumps and is already wheezing

Everyone fears this. It's been hammered into a lot of our heads that we need to find a good man while we're young, otherwise we'll be old and won't have a man. The manosphere seems obsessed with the idea of the wall, because they think it'll be some sort of great thing for them, where they get to say "I told you so", which is rarely true. I can say that any woman who takes care of herself will still be very attractive well into her 40s. Can't comment too much, as I've never been in this position…

Women's advocacy doesn't lack commitment. This is a pet issue to a small number of women. Other issues, such as workplace discrimination and mother's guilt are all things that are being worked on and fixed at a wider scale(And yes, I'm aware of men's issues, especially discrimination against men in woman dominated fields. It's gross and should also be worked on and focused on more).

Both genders have people bad at sex. Women have starfishing, men have selfish sex. The key to good sex between both is: Stamina(get your ass on the treadmill once in a while) Communication Effort It's not rocket science. We're designed to enjoy sex, so if one person isn't having good sex, it's a clear indication that someone in that bedroom is bad at it.

Plenty of women are like this, plenty are not. My question to you is this: Do you really want to be with a woman where she gets turned off by you being kind and caring? Is that the type of woman that will be a good mother? Good wife?

That's definitely not it. Most women aren't nearly as "porn brained", as porn is pretty rarely designed for us or the things that appeal to us.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/24 09:32 PM

A lot of these people are just straight up selfish. My fiancé is someone who wants a lower count woman, because he himself is lower count, and has only participated in sex in relationships. What is fundamentally happening is a disconnect, where a lot of these men want hookups and casual sex, but for women they date not to do the same. It's complete hypocrisy. If you want a pure virgin woman, you better be close to that yourself.

It is for young people but once you get to 30 the gap starts to widen. Because around that age women tend to leave the workforce at a higher rate, and cut back on hours a lot more, while men do the opposite. Married men work more hours every week, while married women work less. And men have higher rates of neet and unemployment which means the men working are having to earn more to bring the average up, so a man who is working and a woman who is working means the man is probably earning more. Be…

I mean, if you look at the major metro areas, and amongst youth, it's pretty much perfectly equal. It's a lot of smaller towns and cities that skew the data, as most women tend to work non blue collar jobs in these areas, when that's the only high paid work. And sure, men do chase higher paying jobs, but men also have higher rates to NEET and youth unemployment.

The highest positions in hospitals are held by men So you're talking about the 1% of jobs, which makes no sense, as a lot of those jobs are for people in their 50s and 60s, and women have only really gotten true, legal workplace equality for the past decade or 2, so most of these jobs would eventually end up more equal. Men go into careers that are more physically and mentally draining that's why most men make more Not necessarily. I don't think anyone would argue being a SWE is more taxing than…

I'd go 50/50 on a date. I'd consider myself fairly attractive all things considered, but IMO it just shows a guy that I'm able to put the same effort into the relationship and invest my half for things. That said, can't lie and act like I don't get a tingly feeling when my fiancé paid for the first couple dates. It's your decision to go 50/50 or pay full, but I can tell you that a woman worth dating will at least be super appreciative of you paying full.

Eh, not really. Forbes shows the adjusted wage gap based on occupation is 99-100, and men make basically the same salary as women when in the same job. You can maybe make arguments about men having a more "professional" aura, which gives them access to promotions more easily, but I work in a male dominated industry(Econ PhD) and my fiancé is a psychologist, and I can tell you that there are way more resources for me to get promotions based solely on my gender in a male dominated field than there…

I never understood some women's fascination with casual sex. 95% of dudes have no stamina, no desire to please others, and are just looking for a quick nut. My fiancé is not selfish at all, so it's always...good.

If he didn't know, I'd probably react the same way he does, with shock. I don't know his relationship with that woman or if something happened, so I don't know if it's my place to judge, but really it depends on the circumstances of conception. Case by case basis

We always can find hope and love in this world. I hope that everyone out there finds their forever person, and I really feel for the men that have fallen victim for the traps of so many online who want to tell them that women will never love them and that their lives have no purpose. It's tragic to see, and I want everyone to know that there is always hope and good in the world when you can find it.

Jesus. I'm really sorry that you've never experienced true love from a partner. I can say with utmost certainty that love from women does exist. I love my fiancé to death, and I would do anything for him. I love him with my whole being, and I'll keep loving him on and on. I'm really sorry that you've never experienced this love, or seen it with your own eyes, and I can't imagine the kind of hurt that must give you, to think that a woman could never love you, but I can assure you that true love d…

As a woman, I can assure you that most of the girlfriends I have stay 10000 miles from the apps, while guy friends I have say it's the worst thing for their ego ever. Fuck these stupid apps and the 2 company oligopoly that controls dating.

It's an online issue. A minority makes everything worse for the majority. Think about it this way: Most of the men(Especially on a subreddit like this) grew up in an era where dating was already getting harder. Internet was coming up, and communities fell down with it. We live in a more fractured world than ever. In previous decades, if you didn't date in HS, that was fine. No one 100% expected it. But by having the internet, it allowed people to never develop proper social skills, and instead e…
