I used the "rape" word to appeal to the feminists, but if you look at my actual post and read it (and some of the comments), you'll see that i make the point that it's not about helping women, but it's actually about helping men, which might inadvertently help women, and yes many men i know find the idea interesting, and no it's not about chemical casteration, which you don't seem capable of understanding. Plus, all the men who are longing for sexual contact but can't get any, no one gives a shi…

simply impossible without serious health implications for guys. That's why it is an "if" question. Why must you try to consider practical limitations? It's just a hypothetical.

I'm 5'8, so I see what you mean. Although in my country, that's the average height, I don't face discrimination, nor do i have any privileges in relationship to height. However, I went to Europe 2 weeks ago, and boy did i feel short there, even tho there were men around my height, it still felt alienating.

This is a good thing. I think if men show a neutral reaction to this, we can set a good example for women on how to react when men decide to become single and avoid relationships. The truth is it can be complicated, it can be emotionally draining for everyone. And people need to have the freedom without being judged, to opt out for however long.

I never said that women don't like sex, i simply challenged the notion of being able to state to what degree do women vs men enjoy sex. but it’s straight up facts that 80% You do realise the statistic covers only a small demographic of dating women on DATING APPS, in a specific culture.

your prefer to simplify to a point where all points are lost. A reasonable point. But why wouldn't you explore explanations that mainly has to do with women? Women, on average, are more neurotic, and that means they experience higher levels of shame and self consciousness, which can result in women having a more difficult time enjoying sex. I am guilty of oversimplying, but so are you in the sense that you distill a complex issue into mostly being caused by porn (which has an effect without a do…
/r/MensRights20/03/24 11:31 AM

You mostly attributed the issue to men consuming porn, which means it's how men act or think being the cause of the problem. Then you mentioned women not being educated, but also in a way that makes women seem like a passive by stander in their sex lives.

I can sense that you're actually sincere, but the "it's men's fault" is getting too old. It views women as a kind of infant who just doesn't know better and doesn't know how to speak up, and can't recognise what's wrong in the situation. It is first and for most your responsibility to know how to enjoy your own sex life and get educated on the topic. PS: There's no way to actually determine who enjoys sex more. Maybe men and women are about the same, maybe men more, but you can't proof any of th…

That's very interesting, i never thought about it that way. But you're right. It angers me to no end when they say, "We're humans like you," which is hilarious because society in general humanises women considerably more than men, and so do men to men. And obviously, women to men. Which i can live with, but not with the hypocrisy of it all, where they frame things as if we are seen as humans while they are not.

MAN!! I'm so glad this topic has come up. i once posted on a subreddit how hard it is for me when going out seeing attractive women and feeling sexually or romantically attracted to some. I'd like to mention that i may be slightly on the hypersexual spectrum. And I was recovering from the over use of porn. So i was particularly struggling with visual stimulus. of course i didn't mention the porn part. And i got answers like "You should think that there's a person underneath" or "You should imagi…

Yes, but are they merely passive recipient of it's teachings with no agency of their own?
/r/MensRights28/02/24 01:22 PM

Viewing yourselves as helpless victims with no agency will only cause you to sink deeper in your pool of misery. Instead of faulting culture and men, how about you actually make educational materials for women, on how to achieve an orgasm, enjoy sex... etc You're adults not children, men shouldn't be expected to study female anatomy and figure out how it ticks, that is your responsibility. PS: it is objectively easier for men to achieve an orgasm from a biological standpoint, and men start maste…

Interesting, but what would you learn from having "different cars" but "similar mods"? Do you mean that would let us know if even in the event of similar socialisation, "Mods" if the brains of males and females would be different? Alright, i'm definitely speculating here, but i would still say you could, the chevy should still remain a Chevy. In the organic world, you could perform the same function, just in two vastly different methods, like flight for example, you could go the bird route, have…

They might also point to another study thst showed transgender people have brains closer to the gender they identify as. Wouldn't that prove that there's a biological element to the structure of the brain, overcoming even socialisation?

I'm agnostic. However, explaining everything by chance seems intellectually lazy. Why does the earth exist? Well you know, chance and stuff! Why does everything exist? Chance. Why does life exist? Chance and blind probabilities. Why does (insert phenomena)? Chance... i think you get the point. If we skip the issue of probability, how probable is something to exist or not exist, and say that everything exists purely out of random purely coincidental inanimate operations. We still have the issue o…

I believe there might be a simple solution. If we assume that the starting preset of the brain is like a car, you could have two different types of car, you could in fact have a kia and a cheverolete. Now, one could come along and heavily modify the kia, although it'll look different and function differently, it's highly unlikely that you can modify the kia to be a cheverolate. You'll simply end up having a modified kia and vice versa. That could solve the masculine vs feminine brain. And by pas…

This is really interesting, i was considering making a post on this sub to talk about Saudi Arabia. Just a disclaimer i am from Saudi Arabia. I used to be mad at how overly reductionstic the Western view of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East as a whole is, but i suppose that is simply human nature. Things aren't as different from other parts of the world as one would imagine, We just happen to be a very conservative modesty in appearance is a big part of that. But what the west seems to always mis…

With all due respect, this feels juvenile. Shouldn't our main purpose be not caring what women think or do, not having them at the centre of our attention, this doesn't feel like it. It feels like a revenge seeking behaviour, the type ubiqutious in feminist, please let's not be like them. Just a disclaimer, I definitely don't think women should get any sympathy over this at all, but also being happy that someone else is feeling pain, it feels like a feministic mind set.

Read any research on "Neuroticism" it explains a lot of human behavior, and especially female behavior, women on average are more neurotic, and what you see in feminisim (and other areas) is a manifestation of that. Numerous studies have shown that women tend to score higher than men in terms of Neuroticism (Costa et. al., 322)](https://edubirdie.com/examples/analysis-of-gender-differences-big-five-personality-traits-in-both-men-and-women/)

This might be a moot point, and it might seem strange at first, but i have a simple inquiry. How did you notice that women in general are more empathetic/compassionate? I never noticed that in life, and i'm not saying women are not empathetic or compassionate, it's just that i never really observed and detected a noticeable disparity between men and women in that area, even though some theories in psychology strongly support it. In my interactions with men and women, i don't really notice that m…

That's very interesting, major respect to her. There are also many examples, of feminist getting chastised the moment their interests widen. There's norah Vincent who wrote the book titled the self made man, where she went undercover as a man for 2 years (A brilliant book). Also a very wonderful Ted talk by Casie Jaye.

I think you may have skim read my post. My point was that from the get go, feminisim is about resentment, anger, and vengence.

Although no one can deny that feminisim in certain situations have resulted in a positive change in women's affairs. But the reality is it never started out interested in a holistic equality, it was never not about anger, vengence, etc.. Janice flamengo discusses this, and you can find shorter form videos on her channel about the history of feminisim and how it began at the start of the 1800s. But below is an interview with her. In my culture arranged marriages are the norm, and the man is meant to pay a dowry and all of the wedding related expenses, which is around 30 - 50k. Even if i have that kind of money, the thought of paying it all for an overpriced dowry and an elaborate wedding ceremony gives me chivers 🥶

Largely also means women are excluded almost 100% of the time. However, in many areas of life, such as the education system, women are actually doing better than men, a state that should not be possible within an actual patriarchy.

I once wrote on a subreddit for my country, on why marriges involve a significant monetary investment from men. I got attacked by so many women, saying shit like "We give Birth!" Like some how i owe her monetary compensation for carrying a child, a desire which most women have to a greater extent than most men. I thought that women are soverign individuals who only do what they feel like doing, yet simultaniously i should think that they are these poor creatures who are hopeless and have to go t…

True. I think we shouldn't be overly effected by the feminist world view, where everything is about them, and they see the world through a very subjective emotional point of view. We should try our best to be objective and to examine things rationally from a non-emotional place.

Honestly, i can understand it being scary when you're in a confined place and someone is making sexual remarks about you. At the end of the day, just leave them alone guys, we give them way too much attention.

Damn it's beautiful! It's really heavy, tho, and i think we should appreciate it as a piece of art, as a perspective of reality, but it shouldn't be our truth or fate, and we need to keep in mind the relativity of things.

I think they could be good. Women complain about sexual attention all the time, "makes me feel like a peace of meat, like i'm the only thing stopping him from having access to my body" So problem solved, no more overly horney dudes going out doing stupid shit, and women won't have to deal with the inconveniences of such a burden.

Honestly i understand where she's coming from. But being this upset about it is not mature, she wouldn't feel the same about him if he was lazy and didn't have a job. And once he fixes that, she'll be a lot nicer to him.

Well think about it like a market. It's a religious society, so every other avenue of sexual relations is either illegal or very frowned upon. So if there's only one way that you could get a socially and religiously approved sexual access, then you create a lot of demand for that method. and do you know what happens when there's a lot of demand and limited supply for something? You get to NAME your price, there's but one way that the river flow, and surely it'll pass by you eventually. Of course…

Man i guess more people are in similar situations than i thought. I'm in your shoes. If i stood up to my mother all hell will break lose. The really disheartening thing is that my siblings don't care, and believe that i should let things because my mother will never change. I know for a fact, that they wouldn't be so lenient if it was the other way around.

No, it's in most middle Eastern countries. i've given you the average, it could be lower in some rare circumstances, and very often, it could be higher. But in the Arabic gulf (where oil is) it can get ludicrous. The irony is we get a reputation for being oppresive to women, but our societies are very brutal for men too, just in vastly different ways. Btw, If she divorces you'l have to save all of that money up again.

Thanks man! For a 23 year old, i think i'm doing okay, i make 40k a year, i have over 30k in savings, but i have actually invested most of that money, and currently i'm not looking for a partner, in my society we're always told to leave women alone, and honestly i don't want to find myself in a context where i'm having to constantly prove myself that i'm not one of the bad men. My goal in life is to become a scientist, i love learning, academia, and research. And it feels deeply rewarding and me…

You know, in my culture you're supposed to give the women a dowry (10-20k) pay for all the wedding expenses (another 10k) pay for the honeymoon, buy her gifts, and most likely you will have to furnish an apartment, that's probably another (10k) that's more than what a lot of young man make in a year. After all of that, you're supposed to understand the feminine mind and how to treat her gently so that she feels comfortable with you 😂 There's probably a rice bag somewhere in asia that's more care…

Man that's actually quite insightful. It always made me wonder, especially when women see a man act in a way they don't like, many of them would say "no women would sleep with you if continue doing or thinking that" which if you think about it, especially if the context has nothing to do with mating, why would they bring that up. I think i've found my answer today, keep it up man!
