Contemplating DivorceYou can plan financial aspect well, do it now. Transfer ur money/assets to someone else’s name, maybe a trust in cayman island. Wait for few months and then file. You will not lose in asset split. And since you dont have kids, Child support will not sting you | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/24 04:00 PM

Why is it that mostly women ask for divorce? And why is it so hard for men? I hate her to the core but just cant seem to let go?Woman I love and cared for 13 years…just called off marriage in a silly argument, no regards for the kids and now seeking spousal support from a year back claiming we were separated long back but just living in the same house. I cannot imagine..i gave 13 years of my life to her and we have 3 beautiful kids…but i was so blind and could never figure out that she would be so superficial and materialistic | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/24 06:19 PM
My Rough AM for a new separated guyI can feel ur pain bro..i am 40 and in a very similar situation…my 8 year old son tells me other day “dad i wanna move in with u.. i dont like it here…but mamma wont allow” i couldn’t sleep the whole night!! | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/03/24 01:41 AM
Divorced man of 40, father of 3 beautiful kids, how difficult is it to have a fresh start at life?Absolutely not sir. My kids love me more than her I can say that. But I work fulltime and she is a full time mom. What I am trying to say is,Me working and keeping the kids in daycare wouldn’t be fair to them. While they can be with their biological mother. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/24 09:38 PM
Divorced man of 40, father of 3 beautiful kids, how difficult is it to have a fresh start at life?Yes, i will be paying almost 40 to 50% of my income in child and spousal support, as she never worked during our marriage and now considered un-employable because she doesn’t have skills | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/24 03:04 AM
Any experience this, Divorced now for like a year but I'm still low key in love with my ex, I lose interest in current love affairs cause they never live up to her?You sir are a nice man. And nice people tend to suffer. Men are usually perceived as cruel monsters. But I have seen more women cheating and taking advantage of decent men. Unfortunately I am one of those men. All I can say is give some time and you will overcome the attachment to her. Dont fight the feelings, they are completely natural, seek some therapy and address those feelings. I wish soon you find a loving and caring partner that you deserve. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/03/24 08:00 AM
How do you deal with the lonelinessYou need a ray of hope. I just got separated from a 14 years marriage, i am in a new country away from kids, it was tough…i was losing my mind..empty house made me sad and very depressed. I didn’t give up and immediately got back to dating. I didn’t succeed initially but recently I have been talking to a very interesting person, that has really inspired me and now I dont even think that I am alone. i come back from work, chat with her, FaceTime my kids, do some cooking..cleaning…before I know, I… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/03/24 02:42 AM

They broke meI am sorry to hear that sir, you have to go through that. It is truly heartbreaking. I am an Indian and my cultural practices may differ than yours but I can tell you I have pretty much gone through the same thing. I was never able to connect with my spouse emotionally, intimacy was a chore to her. But regardless I was taking it all like a gentleman with the intention that the joy and love I could not get from my spouse maybe compensated by my kids. I brought her to Canada, and now she has taken… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/03/24 09:48 PM
