I think it's more like feminists want to know why women choose the careers they do and whether the difference in numbers is due to sexism. I wouldn't have a problem with a girl or woman who genuinely preferred a more feminine occupation but I would have a problem with her choice being influenced by notions of what women should be doing.

I just said that it was less common not that it was acceptable in any way. People are more freaked out by jokes about men hurting women because it is more common.
