There is no chance in hell the average American in a relationship finds the other attractive without developing that attraction over time Yes People in large educated affluential urban areas (and colleges) might find their SO or sex partner attractive without regard for their other attributes but that’s about it It’s a very high standard compared to most stuff like “not being an asshole, being artistic, being competent …”

I mean I don’t either but I just got back from vacation where we had to go to a Walmart, which represents the “average American” and I’d bet my entire net worth that there are more people there that are the “billion other things” than there are who pass your “pass/fail attraction” Like the being hot thing is literally the highest standard you most people can possibly get The billion other things are generally easy by comparison , without even knowing what they are
