You can tell she's insufferable and unhappy. Just wear a damn shower cap. She doesn't like the rain shower, then complains about not wanting to use the attached hose because she's at a barnyard animal (seems like she's in competition to be an ass to me, but whatever). Just say you don't like bathing, lady, and quit blaming men for your need to stay filthy. I swear some people just want to be oppressed in this 1st world.

Why are they calling her a fantasist instead of a liar?

Damn. Sorry man that sucks. I had decent parents, with flaws that still impacted me negatively, but I have never had my mom say anything disparaging about her sons or men in general.

Mother's destroy sons and then wonder why they turn out to be the very men they despise. Imagine growing up hearing stuff like that.

Why did I expect they would be at least harmonizing and it actually sounded like something worth listening to? Of course there isn't anything about harmony feminists seek so I shouldn't be surprised lol..and they sounded like a pack of hyenas in the end

Hi. Thanks for reading my response. Well, sometimes, perhaps a lot of times, men don't open up about our issues because when we have done so in the past, spoke about our feelings, or cried even to our woman, or to anyone, the sensitive topic will get used against us in arguments as a way to hit below the belt. So the alternative is to suffer in silence and try our best to work through it. So not you specifically, just generally speaking. As far as bringing something up he's told you about, let h…

Communicate. Often women are talkers, but they fail to communicate exactly what they want say while expecting us to mind read or know what youre thinking. Don't talk at him, but speak in a tone and use words that express the concern, how you feel about the concern, and ask how to PROBLEM SOLVE. Look up this video Iyanla Van Zandt when she demonstrated how women should speak to their men that will get him to move, inspire and not feel shouted down or barked at. Understand that while men and women…

That's great bro. Glad your mental health is improving and that you're finding a tribe of masculine men to hang with. We all need that regardless of sexuality. Being gay doesn't mean you aren't masculine or don't have interests on traditionally masculine things and activities. Also, you make a good point that because you're attracted to other men doesn't mean you're a woman or need to feminine. Stay strong brother and keep discovering and growing!

Yes! I wouldn't approach in a combative manner, but more like you said. Ask him questions to make his question his logic and thought process. Offer a new perspective. He may have come from an environment where there isn't a good experience with white people. Same as how some from all white communities may have a perception of how black people are based on media. I think this could be great learning experience for both young men.

Don't engage in hot button topics OR you could talk to each and see where he gets his worldview from. Who knows, you may be to offer a different perspective he never has really been exposed to. Iron sharpens iron. Could turn out to be a really good friendship. One of my best friends of 20 years is an atheist while I'm a Christian. We met in college. We respect each other's differences, though sometimes we push each others buttons, as friends do, but no love is loss. Don't rule him out just yet, …

I was extremely fortunate to have found really good therapists. And they were male. Initially I wanted to find one who was secular based as I was at a crossroads with my Christian faith, but was unsuccessful. So there was a faith based clinic near work so I decided to go there. I was very clear that I did not want to incorporate any aspects of the Bible or Christian perspectives in sessions until I was able to work through the issues I was having as a man. He was respectful of my requests. I giv…
