What's your custody split? I'm primary because I have majority of custody 80%. But we both have joint physical.

My Stbxh does this too. We use an app ( his choice) and I do communicate everything with him in regards to our kids. Especially the health issues that they are experiencing. I don't get a response in a timely manner so I pretty much end up making the decisions all on my own. If there's something he doesn't agree with then that's when its convenient for him to respond but even then its just him either dismissing my concerns or complete ignoring them. I have primary but I still think its important…

Seriously, some judges do go by what the dissomaster calculates. If 2.5 years at $1000 is not reasonable to you, I wonder how you would feel if she lawyers up and takes you to court and then not only do you now have to spend more money on an attorney but you're also taking a chance that the judge might actually award her that or more. It's something you must really consider.

I'm a Mother of two whose husband didn't ask for 50/50. I can't stress it enough how important it is for children to have both parents involved equally. If you are already thinking about how to take them away from her because of her involvement with someone else, you are intentionally creating "parental alienation". This will only backfire on you. I suggest you do your best to put their needs before your own.

So he could have asked for 50/50 right? Mediation was an hr long. Since he left he said I want to see them these many days...etc .. I just thought that's what he wanted so the mediator went with that. I ofcourse would love our children to spend more time with him. Trust me, it's been hard. They went from having a fully involved father who they saw every morning and every night, to now just EOW 😢. Well if he ever wanted to ask for more time in the future, I wonder what he would say to get it if h…

I was unaware that it was a standard practice. CA here too . He didn't ask for it. From the beginning it has been an 80/20 custody split. Guess not all parents want equal time with their children 😞 I applaud those of you who fight hard for that equal time.

If this goes to trial...Im hoping to get a check in the mail too...this is BS!!! He wants it...why should I have to be in debt because of his choices? Its either I pay the attorney or I feed our kids! This is what he just doesn't effing get! Ugh! 🤦‍♀️

I can't wait to get to a point in my life where I can say this very same thing. The pain our children feel and the damage his cost makes it difficult. At least right now. Some day I hope to be right were you are...even if its just on paper...😏

This includes court filings, attorney fees (my side only) two appearances and currently working on a settlement agreement. 🤦‍♀️

I'm the respondent, so far 1 year in, $30k.

Im the respondent and his attorney has done nothing more than send frivolous letters, petty complaints and of Course my attorney has responded accordingly every time to address this. This costs me money. We had to tell them numerous times that these "letters" were driving my legal fees up. I don't have income like he does to pay my legal fees. This to me is unfair. Hopefully I get awarded reimbursement for legal fees. Have him on record stating that he too had to ask his attorney to stop the BS …
