If you live in a rural area or a urban area that is not prepster or hipster, you can't really take their advice. Dude go visit MFA. Might have held a year ago, current MFA is way broader. For life MFA is better, in almost every way. Just pick up a sweet cafe racer style jacket, some ray-bans (or $2 knock-offs) and some white t-shirts. I have like 2-3 bad-boy outfits (sharing pieces) and like 40+ MFA outfits (sharing, again).

I've actually been doing the same thing- not particularly on purpose, just my two styles. I either dress MFA approved, or like a badass. (In my mind).
