You are 100% wrong. According to the World Health Organization: "Partial or total removal of the clitoral glans (the external and visible part of the clitoris, which is a sensitive part of the female genitals, with the function of providing sexual pleasure to the woman), and/or the prepuce/clitoral hood (the fold of skin surrounding the clitoral glans)."

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/female-genital-mutilation "Female genital mutilation (FGM) involves the partial or total removal of external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons." Your example was worded nicely. But it does involve the removal. Even your example is about cutting the organ itself. Not the skin around it. FGM is equivalent to cutting the head of the penis. Male circumcision is equivalent to removing the clitoral hoo…

Female genital mutilation cuts off the entire clitoris. Are you daft?

The removal of the clitoris is the removal of a sex organ. What are you even on about?

It is not as bad. Not in the slightest. And it is inappropriate to equalize such things. Circumcision is a cosmetic operation most of the time with rare exceptions. It is not the same as removing an entire sex organ. Neither should be ignored. But it is wrong to equalize them. Anyone who does so is disingenuous.

There are going to be nuggets of truth even in the most derelict of ideologies. Taken as a whole, redpill is garbage. Just because you can eat out of it does not mean you should. What exactly about the redpill draws you in? Much of it is hating on women and pointing to anecdotal evidence to prove how terrible they are. I am on the redpill and mgtow subreddits just to see what they talk about, and it is a good 90% woman hating echo chember.

If you a genuinely interested in discussion, red pill ideology is full of logical fallacies, misconceptions, and lies. It generalizes women as a homogenous group as though there are no differences in individual behavior. It is a collective ideology that does not recognize the individual. And often makes absurd statements and asserts them as facts. It negativity associates half of our species.

Here is one I found: https://web.archive.org/web/20060614174008/http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/homicide/gender.htm Interestingly, while men make the majority of victims, they are also the majority of perpetrators. We need to tackle both realities.

The 90s. It advocated for men to be allowed to show emotion and to be treated as people with feelings and not to be seen as weak. It sought to break down the idea that emotions were for women and men were not less than if they expressed them.

It might have to do with how men have viewed women over centuries. Something that feminists have pointed out was that patriarchal societal norms also adversely affect men in many instances. The common example of "men/boys do not cry". Norms like this are reinforced by other men. So if we want to take a critical look societal norms, we have to open to this perspective. Women, for a long time, and even now, are considered weaker them men, more emotional, and fragile. Men, in contrast, are viewed a…

It is sad because feminism used to include men's rights. Everything from allowing boys to cry to fair judgments. It used to be about equality. Now it is woke.

Depends on what you are looking at. Your point is statistically untrue when it comes to black women and white men. However, it is true when it comes to black men and white women.

I do not know what your demographic is, but this take tends to apply broadly to white women because they are, generally, entitled. Propped up by the men of society. This is not always the case, but they tend to be. Black women, on the other hand, tend to build up the men in their community they are with and get left behind when the men make it, usually left for a white woman. So, in my opinion, if you want to try for a healthy relationship, a black woman will be least likely to screw you over. A…

Statistics can only go so far, and without context, can color reality. Your also cannot say never. It happens. Domestic violence is more common than random assaults but they happen. There are recent examples of this. Just one I can think of was of the East Asian woman being beaten by a black man in broad daylight on the street. And two men in the nearby building did nothing. Another account that happened near where I live was a woman was murdered by a guy she did not know. This example was from …

If you subscribe to the Christian afterlife, suicide is a one way ticket to hell so... If you say your feelings are hurt, it is not manipulation. What is manipulative is screaming you are going to kill yourself because you got told no. Do you not see the gross disconnect between the two? One is a ridiculous extreme. It is not about disregarding a man's feelings in this example. The emotional reaction this person had was unjustified given the context. If he had said he was hurt that she blocked h…

It is worth noting that the age of consent is 16 in the UK. Therefore, news outlets may be unable to to use the word rape. Sexual abuse and sexual misconduct is more apt. On a similar note, an Alabama teacher is facing 20yrs in prison for something similar. She plead guilty (link)

These things happen. Men do and say stupid things. They make sexist remarks and make light of issues they never experienced. This is a legitimate request from woman and others who identify as feminists. Example: In college, I was in a fraternity. One night, a girl I was getting close with was drunk and passed out on my lap. My brothers suggested that this was a good opportunity to do some things with her. They were serious. I had to go from saying I do not think it is a good idea, dismissing the…

There is such a thing, yes. Not to say femininity itself is toxic, but aspects of it are or can be. The same can be said for masculinity. As a whole, neither are toxic. However, there are traits, aspects and behaviors that can be. And it is up to those in that gendered group to address those issues, not deny or ignore them. We also cannot resort to calling the other sexist for pointing out these behaviors either. Neither group is perfect, and if want to address these issues we need to look in th…

This is not necessarily refuting my point. In highlights something else in fact. Oppression comes in many forms. Woman, blacks, other groups of people etc. have faced it in one way or another. What this highlights, to me, is the root of it all, classism. The rich do not fight wars. The rich owned the property. The rich create policy. The rest is simply a division to keep us fighting amongst ourselves. Poor people have been oppressed, people of color have been oppressed, women have been opposed. …

This is just a list of anecdotal quotes from men that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Women did not have the right to vote for a long time. So the answer is yes, women have been opposed in one way, shape, or form from this one example alone. Men's rights should absolutely not be about what woman do or do not have. This is not a competition. This is not a tit-for-tat position. Discussing men's issues does not need or warrant a comparison to woman's issues. And to suggest they do not have a…

I would agree with this on some level. I do not know how old you (or others in this discussion are), but dating is significantly more difficult now than it ever was. I was fortunate to find a woman who is down to earth and not a neurotic basket case. However, we did not meet until I was well into my 20s. Here is my take on what the issue is. It is two-fold: noisy feminist bloggers and dating apps. Noisy feminists push their anti-masculine agenda on Twitter, blogs and online articles. They have a…

What troubles me about this is men's rights arguments that include domestic violence, and other issues are often brought up as a direct counter point to a woman bringing up their own struggles with those issues. It acts as a silencing tactic even if you do not intend it to. There is a time and place for these discussions, and it is not in response to a woman expressing their problems. I think it was inappropriate to bring that up in that context. It is combative and dismissive. This is not a com…

Your feelings on the matter mean nothing and your derivative religion (among many others) is nothing but a fairy tale concocted by bronze age people who barely started using the wheel (by derivative, I mean an offshoot of Judeo-Christian mythology, founded first in 3,000BCE). You pull morality based on a 5,000 year old foundation and and a 1,300 year old interpretation and try to apply it to modern society. Your appeal to tradition is illogical. Your black and white thinking is obtuse and a smal…

By men being their own problem, we tend to continue the cycle of abuse. The boys in this instance grow up and continue to employ other boys. For example: bullied or abused kids can easily become bullies or abusers. Children often become the adults that shapped them, perpetuating a cycle. It take a societal shift, often championed by outside thinkers, to change things. In this instance, child labor. Also, interesting how you conflate "men" and "boys" as if they are the same thing. Boys be no say …

You see a tweet made by a women clearly appreciating her man and you read negativity into it. Most people in this group complain about women being awful and here is an example a woman actually appreciating and recognizing what her man does. You do not know anything about her or the guy. You know nothing at all. There is being cynical and/or jaded, and then there is being destructively bitter. To a hammer, everything is a nail.

I think a discussion of actual issues with taking points would need to be established. I see them floated around here, but a lot of what is discussed is bashing feminist. We need to talk about sexual assault and how men do not report it as often as women and the reasons why. We need to address both female on male sexual assault, whereby addressing the issues within our own (e.g. other men laughing about it and saying you got lucky) and male on male sexual assault in the lgbt community as well as…

This is an example of clasism not sexism. The rich in the house of lords shot the bill down. And other chimney sweeps were men who employed boys. If you want to take a gendered approach, this is an example of men being their own problem.

What it even the purpose of this? Even if you were in the market for finding a women, no one here would even glance at that train wreck if a person. Also, maybe tone down the slavery allegory? Those comparisons do not do well. This is absurd.

Social sciences has more flexibility and room for variables than hard sciences. Your example of climate pits to very different sciences against each other. The comparison is not entirely valid. Comparing sociology and climatology is akin to comparing apples and oranges because they are both fruits. They are too different to compare. I can agree with the data provided, however it should also be noteworthy that boys tend to bully more according to this article that cites a particular study. I woul…

Masculinity is not toxic, no. There are parts that are and need work and do us no favors. The same goes for femininity. By itself it is not toxic, but there are segments of it that are. Men denying that we have toxic behaviors is problematic, in a similar way an adict denies they have a problem. Women who do the same thing cause a rift between the two groups. Both groups deny their problems and are hostile towards the other. I do not think you can talk about men's rights without also talking abo…

Grow a beard. Problem solved. In all seriousness, the ad is not only a year old, but has little to do with men's issues/rights. If anything, it should spark some self reflection. Instead of getting triggered and getting your collective boxers in a bunch, think about what the underling message is. It is not an attack on men. But highlighting issues that men should face head on. Men's rights is not just about fighting against perceived injustices and for equality, but also facing our own demons, a…

I would agree with you. However, do you think the father should make the choice instead? My opinion is neither have the choice. It should be up to the boy when they are older and by that point they should know how to take care of themselves.

I disagree. Many male bullies are popular. Jocks/football team guys picking on the smaller nerds. Other guys have a group that follows them because they pick on others to look tough. I would argue the unpopular ones are picked on. Male bullies are more physical vs. their female counterpart. The blanket statement that most women are not attracted to men is a myth. I do not know what kind of women you are around but this is untrue. I am not sure what kind of statement your are making regarding the…

I saw it a few years ago, but it is still relevant: Women Endure Surprising Bias in the Workplace; ABC News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nJq6des4jg But to your point, that is true. In general, we are more aggressive or perceived to be. However, in an interview or job, that is seen as a real go-getter attitude.

I agree that women do try to silence men and are vocal about it on occasion. I do not think it is done outright to deny it happens, however, I see male statistics tend to pop up when women talk about it in their own space. Of course, if you only surround yourself with like minded people or only read bias confirming threads, you will not know what I am talking about. It always seems one sized when you only experience one side. I do my best not to live with blinders on or live in an echo chamber.

I, too, wonder about some of things posted here and mens rights in general. There are legitimate issues that should be addressed. However, I do think a number of these issues are self-inflicted. Not by the current generation of men, but by our long standing history. A number of our issues stem from our forefathers attitude towards emotion. That men need to be strong and being strong means you do not need help (take the whole bootstrap mentality for example). Not having shelters catering to our n…

To counter the argument, I saw a woman do something similar, grabbing and picking up a kid out of the way of a car (of which did not even bother to stop)and narrowly dodging. Also so a video of a grown man jump into a car because a dog got loose and ran after his 2 or 3yr old daughter. Could not protect his child. I would say that his action is worse than freezing because he only thought about himself.

Too bad the academic studies are locked behind institutional walls. I would say this regarding the articles (to my understanding): Women are less aggressive and competitive than men. That's typically due to how they are raised. I saw a social experiment on YouTube where a man and woman said the exact same thing in an interview and the woman was perceived to be annoying, bossy, etc. The man, conversely, was seen as a leader and competent. This also, in my opinion, plays into the wage gap. You kno…

This does not surprise me and here is why: Asian women are often fetishized for their small body types, long straight hair, and submissive behavior. They are, on average, more petite and "cute", which, to me, many men men consider feminine. Small and cute sparks the protective nature in men. Black women, conversely, are seen as masculine. They speak their mind, they challenge, and many do not submit because it is demanded from them by men. I would wager that has a lot to do with the culture surr…

While common, that does not make it true. I see what you are saying though. I have heard that argument before. It devolves into a sexist exchange after that. A lot of these fights boil down to convenient double standards.

It would be rape if it was a drunk woman and a sober guy who was not into it too. The whole crux of the argument for intoxication supplanting consent is when you are too drunk to do or say anything. This man had an agenda. Being drunk is not an excuse. I have been drunk plenty of times and when a woman was not into it I did not continue. And there have been plenty of times where I was drunk and she was into it. Or she was drunk and into it.

I disagree. My point was to establish that there are men in the game with prominent roles. It's about 50:50. Thereby refuting the claim that there is too many women. Edit: Unless of course, having more or less an equal distribution is too many women and games must be male dominated at all times.

Why are you so upset that there are female characters in the game? Do you have something against women? What does this have to do with mens rights exactly? Haven't there been enough games with male only characterss? Maybe pick your battles. This is not the hill you want to die on. The fixers are about 50:50 male/female, there's Rivers, Jackie, Silverhand, Takemura. Get off the red pill for a moment and take a chill pill
