There’s only one time that I STFU and that’s when my wife is already in an emotional state. You need to STFU when YOU are in an emotional state. It's not about her.

OYS #6 Stats: 37, 5'7 165lbs 22%bf (navy), LTR 6 years, two kids <5yrs and one on the way Books: NMMNG, WISNIFG, MMSLP, Rational Male, MAP Lifts (lbs): Bench 185, DL 305, Squat 235 My last OYS was a couple months ago. I was allowing reddit to become a distraction, so I decided to work through things on my own for a bit. Frame I've come to understand that frame is basically just knowing what it is that I want and acting on that... without being swayed by external influences (manipulation, opinion…

Just out of curiosity, have you had your testosterone levels checked recently (or ever)?

This is really a fascinating idea. After reading this, I realized that the times in my life where I had insane amounts of energy were times when I was curious about something... like finding something new and learning about it, or trying to some up with a solution to a problem just to see if I could. Those times felt like I didn't even need sleep. Are there any resources you could recommend for learning more about this? Emotions as the source of energy and/or moving from anger to curiosity?

I always thought I had a good handle on the anger because I'd just quickly block it out, but I was just temp…

Yeah, you're right. The only one who actually cares about the anger is me and it does absolutely nothing but hold me back.

Thanks, I'll put that one on the list.

Wow. That just blew my mind. I can see now how this anger really is about me and I'm projecting it out onto everything else. I'm also realizing that it's the same for some of the anger I experience in other areas of my life... actually, I guess all of it is about me. And by final defense, I think you're saying that in order to pass the anger phase I need to fully accept that I'm just unhappy with myself. Thank you. I'm going to re-examine everything with this in mind.

Yeah this is exactly it. Pretty much lines up with what I've observed so far and the things she's told me over the years. It is definitely a "one that got away" kind of situation.. she's told me this story about how he dumped her and she was devastated at first, but then downplayed it by saying that when he tried to hook up with her again she was "over it". She's also compared me to him (both negatively regarding sex, and positively regarding my beta qualities) in texts to her friends and in her…

Married. Not ILYBNILWY. Found out that she has some secret accounts that she uses daily to stalk her high school ex from 20 years ago. Has done things like take pictures from his social media and put them side by side with hers in photoshop to see how they look together, or run them through one of those "see what your baby will look like" websites. Apparently this has been going on for at least 10 years. Recently she dug up his phone number to take it to the next step I guess. Confronted her and…

OYS #1 Married 5yrs, two kids, one on the way Books: NMMNG, WISNIFG, MMSLP Found out some upsetting stuff about my LTR. I went through multiple anger phases and have just been trying to keep my mouth shut about it. I'm at a point where don't blame her for what she's been doing anymore. This is my fault for just throwing my dick around instead of doing a better job of vetting her. I wasn't even really into her when we got together. This situation exists because I am an idiot. So now I'm here. S…
