1	Feminists somehow acknowledge men being expected to be breadwinners, stoic protectors and pursuers under "patriarchy hurts men too" while they simultaneously tell men their dating issues have nothing to do with society or women. Lots of reasons... One I can think of is media portrayal. It's a given that you are shaped by your environment, i.e. Disney movies, the Princes, which are societal standards of beauty, are tall. You and I are no doubt subconsciously affected by influences like this. Biologically, we also care a lot about proportions. I.e. symmetry in objects and body proportions.
