I read your post in the marriage sub. Your wife doesn't love you. Same thing happened to me btw. Years together. A whopping zero BJs, just like you. And the fact you're here in this sub...I'd say you already know enough to realize she doesn't. She's with you right now as a stepping stone or as a convenience. And she plans on leaving you sometime in the future. And guess what? You're one of a million guys like that. Me, you...other guys on here. I got used. heres the great thing though that you h…

Im 5 years post-divorce. Dudes on here: Frame the above comment and put it on a wall. At the very least screen-shot it. This is the one thing, more than anything else, I've learned about divorce with women. My own, and now being on the opposite end talking to dudes going through theirs.

It's a good lesson to all guys. They can't just say "ehh I'm bored so I wanted a divorce (well to anyone not their girlfriends at least). So we get...voila. This stuff. A few fights...thirty fights , a year of drama, four years of drama, whatever amount it takes, to sufficiently wreck the china shop enough before they hit you with the "ahh shucks, everything is broken, I'll have to divorce 🤧😪😥" it's the tried-and-true play.

There was a thread about how women can do all the girfriend dates or seperate activities they want, and if its a social event? Yeah, he better be there (assuming its a social event where she wants company) But if a guy does it, it's considered blasphemy. Her time is her time. His time is her time. And one dude explained it that they see men as tools. Like a car. You don't want your car getting uppity and deciding it wants to go hang out at the garage when you need it. She is entitled to whatever…

Cheats with her boss and thinks he's her soul mate? Lol. what a loser. She's one of those mid-life women who have the emotional intelligence of a 16 year old and think butterflies=true enduring love. Sounds like a menopause thing honestly. She'll get bored of him too my man.

"The feelings were real, just not permanent" Very wise comment. I'm on the back-end of all of it. And my coworker I'd divorcing. I told him...you've just got to understand women see marriage as an at-will situation. Like most jobs. Boss: "we got utility out of you for X time, but now we will get more out of letting you go". It's why lesbian marriages have the highest divorce rates and women initiate divorce with dudes 80%+ of the time.

Yeah weaponizing the D word is pretty horrific. My ex did it our entire marriage. It's exhausting. OPs wife does is to be cruel and manipulative at the very least. Since she's been doing it for years. Even if divorce will happen sooner or later.

I wasn't sure about "the rules" then I read what you put. You're good lol. You made the right call. I dated a gal after my ex I liked a lot. We had known gone on a few dates, had had sex, were talking regularly. Asked her to be my gf. She semi-ghosted me that day but acted like everything was fine the next day. I stopped reaching out to her. She reached out to me later...I didn't care and didnt respond. Women know what they want. Just like us guys. The difference...is that they'll use a guy for …

She didn't move on super quick. She moved on in year 6 or 7 but stayed with you another 3 (or 4) years until all her ducks were in a row to be able to leave. 6 months...6 years, it's irrelevant to them. They use however much time they need. It's the dirty secret of marriage.

Props to OP if he found someone different. But man.... If they want to go out alone for some activities (or with just they're friends) they expect that at the minimum (and granted I'm fine with that). But once every 7 months I dont want to go out in the group? Holy crap. The absolute audacity of me. It's like...they want a servant idk. Her time is her time. My time is her time. I've yet to find a woman not like this that I've dated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
