Sad part is everyone in the comments is praising this video as being a great attempt at a legitimate apology. I fail to see how this is an apology video as he explains how he's not guilty of what he has been accused of. People may be rushing to this conclusion because he is too lenient in calling his accuser out on her blatant malintentions.

I think rapists know that they are doing something horrendously wrong when they rape people. And these people think they can change rapists' minds with an awareness campaign? Drunk driving awareness campaigns may work because not everyone truly realizes the dangers and consequences of driving drunk, but those who rape sure as hell know fully what they're doing.

It does both horrify and disgust me. But I don't blame women as a group; I blame the government we live under which so clearly rules based on bias. The answer to such problems is fair sentencing, not swearing off women. The fact that you would even imply that I'm not horrified or disgusted by this shows that you're attempting to play on pathos because your logic has has fallen apart.

Losing a trial is most certainly an implication of libel. The defendant could most definitely expect counter charges to be pressed by the rapist, especially if this defendant is high profile. This would be enough to scare many victims away.

How the hell am I defending false rape allegations? I'm simply stating a directly critical, negative outcome of the legislation which you're proposing. You absolutely must look at the negative impacts of proposed legislation before deciding that it must be passed into law. Anything else would be completely irresponsible and reckless.

It is incredibly relevant. As much as we want to prosecute those who are falsely accusing others, we must also show concern for legitimate rape victims. We don't want rape victims not speaking out in fear of retaliation if there isn't enough evidence present to convict.
