100 hours is 4 days... is it 100hrs worth of being together or 100 hours in general??

Not to mention many STIs have more severe symptoms on the female reproductive system including cancer. :/

Well not just girls, this is a violation of boundaries for guys too being forced to accept unwanted proposals. Also pressure for people to conform to going with someone instead of stag-which is lame. Idk why any school would teach kids to ignore other’s wishes/boundaries. Setting kids up for abusive relationships later on

Honestly, I’m 24 and I was thinking about joining the single mother by choice if I don’t find a worthy man in the next decade 🤷🏾‍♀️

There is non hormonal birth control. And did you take the combo pill or try something progesterone only? Progesterone only birth control don’t have as many side effects as combo forms

You forced a person who doesnt want kids to be a parent and expect them to be good at it/happy about it?... make it make sense???

A HVM would respect your boundaries and not push for sex so....

True 😬 the male med students I have met are either super socially awkward or very thirsty/cocky

Truuuee my last ex was 27 and we broke up right before i started PA school. He was a shit bf and would get mad whenever someone mentioned that he was approaching his 30s😬

Do you feel masculinized by being with someone who makes less than you? I feel worried that if I date someone who makes less than me, ill run into the same issue my parents had. Or like another commenter said, ill meet a gold digger.

I would even lower the age to like 27/28. Dated a guy who was 27 when I just turned 22 and he seemed so put together only to low key be a hot ass mess of a (ex)boyfriend. Dont do it girls. Be suspicious of guys in a different life stage than you

So where is my $100 since he offered? Hell, multiply it by 10 as reparations for every woman who has had to deal with his salty ass 💁🏾

What a total CHODE. She was right to stand up for herself and kick him out. This guy is a straight up narcissist and when his daughter is old enough to date and starts dating trash men like him, he is going to be scratching his head like an idiot. Its one thing to set boundaries and voice concerns and its another to start insulting someone and attacking their character. Also, is this an example of the whole negging thing people on this sub talk about?

Omg my ex got so pissed/defensive when I told him as nicely as possible how to rub things. It felt like he was trying to rip off my lady bits sometimes! Upon reflection, it just showed how fragile his ego was and how little he actually cared about my own pleasure/enjoyment

I remember my aunt’s friend talking about her husband and how much fun they have together(married for 30 years). I asked her how they kept up the romance and she said that they still date each other. Dude still buys her flowers, takes her out, and they are still putting in the effort to learn new things about each other every day! LVM are full of shit if they’re talking about the honeymoon fading!

I think “brown” should be defined here. Because there are light/brown skinned black women with femininity channels. If you mean latinx, asian, indigenous, etc. then it is important to make that distinction. As for black women, I know that the uptick in our femininity channels have become a cultural movement. We notice how we are treated masculinely and these channels have popped up to change our image with corrective promotion.

He is pretty awesome! I definitely learned a lot watching his stuff(especially on Darcy from 90DF). Him, FDS, and Pink Pill are my golden trifecta for self-improvement tips haha

Ahh i see. I thought you were speaking along the lines of “all marriage counselors are trash” like some of the comments. I recommend watching Dr. Kirk Honda on youtube. He’s a therapist and picks apart MAFS and 90 day fiancé. He gives really good relationship advice and tries to offer coaching for the scenarios that he watches. Interestingly enough, a lot of what he says is echoed on here when it comes to differentiation, standards, and boundary setting

Well this is a TV show. They want to stoke the drama, not actually produce healthy relationships...

Thats so true! I guess it’s a conscious effort to keep up the queen energy with someone you like :/

I literally used to do this without thinking early in my first relationship. Tbh before hr became my first boyfriend, i had major Queen energy! I was finishing up my bio degree, didnt take shit from him, studied abroad, but threw that all away once we became “exclusive” and he started treating me badly. Ladies, keep up the same energy from dating-> marriage and beyond!!!

Ironically enough, he could have just become an NP, finished school in 2 years, made 6 figures, and opened up his own practice. He decided to switch his field seemingly on a whim instead of making a practical choice that was still fruitful

It does for some. As a black woman in medicine, I have come to the realization that I can only help my community by refusing to date down. Black women are often pushed to date dusty/broke/uneducated LVM. The only ways we can build more wealth and power for our community, is to marry up.

Im going to tell you all what an older ex-coworker told me right before I started PA school. Medical professionals(Mds/Do/PA/NP) will date blue collar workers while in school, but once we graduate, we end up leaving them for other high-income earners. I didnt think it was true until now. My LVM ex was a teacher who would always “joke” about me being his sugar momma once I finished school and I realized that with how cheap and disrespectful he was, it was not a joke-he was telling me of his shady…

Finally someone said it! She is the female version of the very LVM Bums that FDS tells us to AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Ive had depression before and it can make you do stupid/selfish/toxic shit. Was a a HVW back before I got help? NO- I was an asshole and I can admit that. Now, I got therapy and learned how to progress as a person so im not an angry mess all the time. She may have changed, but i dont like the idea of taking someone back to left you and your kids to party, even if later on she got h…

The need to be loved and feeling like I was a loser for not having a BF by 22. Yeah, I was WAY out of his league and luckily learned my lesson. No more dusty 28 y/os for me 💁🏾

Dont perform wifey duties 💁🏾 no cleaning up after him, cooking for him, doing his laundry. You can maybe take him out every once and a while, but make him still chase you. Both you and him need to know that YOU could easily find someone new and live your best life. If he isnt talking about marriage on his own with/about you... thats a red flag

Anything past 5 minutes without a heads up PRIOR to the meeting time is a red flag to me. Im very punctual and I dont FW guys who make me late and trigger my anxiety 💁🏾 if its been over 10 minutes and I hear nothing, you hear nothing back lol and I take myself on a date!
