Indeed. Sobriety is important to me. I just wasn't prepared for how hard it would be to sign those papers. Back to day 1 but I'm OK with that. Thanks!

This 💯. If my wife wasn't hot in some way, than it would just be a job. She has no real skill as far as a job. I mean, sure. She does technically. But if she was fat and of basic average looks, I would probably still be married. I unfortunately understand her situation. In some sick way It's just a very female thing, which might be controversial. I wouldn't just fuck a groupie. Because marriage. Because God. It's just so sad my wife decided that this weird world of fucking famous people is a thi…

Thank you. Our stories are entirely different except for the love part. Marriage was for life. For me. This was explicitly talked about beforehand. I remain married in mind. I can't date because of that. I keep waiting for it to just disappear, but I remain as in love as I was when we got together. You're a good man with a kids first attitude. Massive respect to you!

What would I do with more money? Particularly knowing my cheating cunt wife is involved. Give me a billion dollars and I'd still be the same sad guy. Crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, books and film. I guess I just don't care about materialism. Love was my thing. Not anymore, but it was.

I suppose. Cheating cunts are a dime a dozen. Are good men rare? Am I a moron or a good man? Are you? Is anyone? Are all women cheating whores?

*too I crunched the numbers and it would have cost too much in lawyer fees to try and get alimony. I had no physical proof she was cheating etc... All that would have happened is I would have drained my bank account and hers and rolled the dice with the judge. This ..over months.

You're welcome. I was just renting, but I had been in the place for 17 goddamn years. Perfect relationship with the landlords. In a choice neighborhood etc.. I was paying something like $825.00 for a two story, two bedroom, two bathroom place with a backyard and patio etc... because my loving landlords wouldn't raise my rent beyond cost of living etc... I walked to work for 17 years in my cute neighborhood, 9 of those years was working across the street. A two minute walk to work. My British Pub…

No reason to. We share nothing.

I meant that I gave up my home because she sold me on a better home in her State. Nothing to so with alimony. She now makes twice as much money as me.

Why would I? I'm too old to anyway, but to any young man lurking, yeah. Do not ever get "married". This concept is from the past. We live in "now" where the very idea isn't even real anymore.

Thank you. Total heartbreak is one thing. But I gave up my empire, so to speak. My house, the location and blah blah. I just can never get that back. And I'd rather have that security and the accomplishment of even getting it in the first place rather than ever meeting her. Just a note to dudes who own homes or even rent and have a good relationship with the landlords. Do not give that up. It's way more valuable than a female. Doesn't matter if it's a cheating slut or you're dream girl. Do not g…

It's called monkey branching. It sucks.

Highly sexed women are just not wife material. You think you've won the lottery.... but you would just be wrong in thinking so. Unless you're a swinger or whatever. My confidence is knowing who I am at this point. Pussy unto itself means nothing to me.

I can understand asking the question here. But most of us have had our lives destroyed by women. Our wives. I would say 30% here are men who fucked up and come here to complain. No real love here for men who are not real men. They go away. This space is mainly for good men who've been betrayed by their wives. I have looked at the female version of this topic here on Reddit, and I found it quite toxic, so I can understand why you posted here. It's really just that your cheating husband, the guy y…

I can say the betrayal of my wife, which was the biggest shock of my life has influenced my opinion of all women. Which is not good. Entering the dating pool, where women seem to automatically not trust men from minute one has been confusing at best. It's just not a toxic pool I want to get into. Good job, humans.

I don't know. I tried the thing where I told my wife "divorce fantasies are your problem, not mine. I'm neither moving out or getting divorced". This didn't last long. A few months maybe. The current state of law sides with women, and the legal truth is no one can stop a divorce. That part was news to my dumb ass. But not news to her. Beyond the heartbreak and all that, I was serious about not getting divorced. This is my home blah blah. Go live in your room, fuck your guy all day long. Neverthe…

I chose celibacy. My brain is somewhere between still being in love with my wife and basically hating women in general.

Sucks. Same. No idea why I thought I was the last branch. I suppose saying "I do" had something to do with it.

Monkey branching. Should have seen it coming, me being one of the branches. She waited ten years, just long enough for me to age out of dating and playing in bands. She only fucks co-workers so it was one year into her new job. We're not even divorced yet.

I personally decided to just be celebate after one or two attempts. I just realized that rando sex was no comparison to being a husband. It was a weird revelation seeing as though I was a major slut before settling down. I was so jealous of my wife fucking all the men, I thought I could balance that out by getting laid. Turns out I just outgrew that phase of my life. I found myself saying "OK bye. Leave now. Talk to you soon" rather than "I'm going to make you my special omelet in the morning". …

How long was the entire relationship? I ask because I've heard it takes close to half the time to finally get over it. At any rate, I totally get everything you said. I do not want to be divorced and I still love my wife despite also hating her guts(ten year total time together). It's been three years. I still have the random dream but they become less and less as time goes on. And less impacting the more I consciously realize I wouldn't take her back if she begged(I would have for the first two…

Utah. For the record. She has no deep cut money. I have no money. My stipulation regarding divorce is "go ahead and pay for it. Like all of it. I won't give a US cent". I have zero reasons for being legally divorced. I suspect she knows this. Hence no papers yet.
