Munchausen-by-proxy mom, 44, charged with killing her daughter, 7, after pretending she was terminally ill to raise thousands from Make-a-Wish is sentenced to 16 years in prisonThis just in, article on same news site reporting guy who assaulted three police officers and apparently attempted to ignite a flammable methane tank sentenced to 30 years. So the guy who may have hurt a few people is getting nigh-effectively life sentence while the lady who convinced others to help her starve her daughter to death may serve 15 years. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 11/02/22 06:01 AM
Munchausen-by-proxy mom, 44, charged with killing her daughter, 7, after pretending she was terminally ill to raise thousands from Make-a-Wish is sentenced to 16 years in prisonUh, I thought about it, your previous sentence, also didn't need to. This bitch convinced other people to help her starve her child to death. I say put a bullet in her head and be done with it so the people aren't subsidizing her life behind bars and her likely future appeals for reducing her sentencing. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 11/02/22 05:56 AM
Women losing their shit over men not backing them up on the Texas lawFor sure, I appreciate the civil discourse as well. The last thing I'll say is that I was careful not to use the word 'women' in my previous comment. | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 01:30 AM
Women losing their shit over men not backing them up on the Texas lawFull circle, I disagree that the original comment is a false equivalency. It's merely pointing out the hypocrisy of feminist rhetorical. Many feminists want men to shut up unless they agree with and support feminist goals. You are probably right though that the comment would a bit offputting to the average person who really doesn't pay much attention to gender issues. | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 01:11 AM
Women losing their shit over men not backing them up on the Texas lawOh I'm not at all. I think that you are assuming that this legislature was passed because of men and is sexist, where I would argue that it's only possible because both men and women support it. It is Texas after all, where many conservatives and Christians, women and men, are against abortion. | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 12:58 AM
Women losing their shit over men not backing them up on the Texas lawMaybe they shouldn't vote men into office then. Women make up a majority of voters, both in general within the US and in Texas: https://www.kff.org/other/state-indicator/number-of-individuals-who-voted-in-thousands-and-individuals-who-voted-as-a-share-of-the-voter-population-by-sex/?currentTimeframe=0&selectedRows=%7B%22states%22:%7B%22texas%22:%7B%7D%7D%7D&sortModel=%7B%22colId%22:%22Location%22,%22sort%22:%22asc%22%7D | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 12:51 AM
Women losing their shit over men not backing them up on the Texas lawYou realize you just equated men in Texas with the very small proportion of men involved in this legislature though, right? You say "our" answer as if men in general passed this. | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 12:44 AM

She talks herself out of a Pussy Pass and into a bigger ticketDon't be, I saw how long the video is and thought to myself "no way I'm watching the whole thing" but it's like watching a car crash unfold. Hard to divert attention from chaos. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 16/04/21 03:14 AM
She talks herself out of a Pussy Pass and into a bigger ticketOh man don't get me started. At first I thought I had major selection bias, but I being a bit hyper analytic started counting the amount of dumb shit I see other people/cars do on the road and Priuses most definitely commit a disproportionate amount of dumb shit, even accounting for their massive popularity and relative market share. I continued to wonder if I was crazy and asked several friends if they notice this too and every single one lit up in enthusiastic agreement. | 1 | Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. So, there was a Vietnamese kid name Phouc in one of my middle school classes. Pronounced "foo-k", phonetically. Well, one of the early days in that class I had to give a presentation and call on questions, Phouc raises his hand and I promptly called him "fuck" then tried to crawl inside myself. We ended up being friends for a bit, ironically enough, haha. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 05:15 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Well, first off Coon is my last name, and in fact I didn't even know it was a racial slur until I was twelve. Hell, Coon and variations there of are my nicknames and people (including black friends) still call me by that to this day. No one gives a shit about it being used as a slur cause they're not racist. But understandable how you might suspect that, by name alone. I don't intend to respond to every part of your comment, these aren't new concepts to me and I happen to agree with many of them… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:01 AM
| -1 | Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Replying to my own comment with a thought experiment - police forces composed of highly compensated, licensed therapists with strict physical and mental standards of practice. Hell, we as taxpayers have so much money squandered on things that are not for our society's benefit, I'd much rather pay for police that actually serve and protect. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 02:25 AM |
| -1 | Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Maybe a better way to put it is this: being polite, caring, and showing genuine compassion works in many situations. But when situations don't call for that and an officer isn't prepared to detect and deal with a potentially violent situation before further escalation, well, it may further escalate and lead to what we saw here - gunfire exchanges in public, shooting perpetrator and victim (bolded that because perhaps they need not be shot in the first place) fleeing the scene, and a death of a p… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 02:21 AM |
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Oh yes I'm not arguing that. I'm just agreeing that the situation could have been controlled better from the start. When the woman is blatantly ignoring instructions, reaching into her car, and pretending to be nonchalant about the whole ordeal, to me she is pushing boundaries / testing the limits of the officer and seeing what she can get away with. A better trained officer (and an officer in better physical condition, let's be real) could have arrested the woman once she started acting bellige… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 02:11 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.I agree. I don't want jacked up super-soldiers as police officers, but I'd like it if police officers were held to physical and mental standards that demonstrate their ability to deescalate and control situations without the use of deadly force, where possible. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 12:52 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Serious question, why are you an ACAB type? In my opinion, people of this persuasion only further galvanize people on the other side of the fence against legitimate (yes, I am implying that ACAB is illegitimate) movements toward police accountability. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 12:38 AM

Facts are facts! How about we stop calling it "defund the police". I'm for reducing the funds of policing, accountability over spending, less militarization, more checks and balances, independent investigations of police misconduct, etc.; but the whole 'defund' is dramatic (maybe for a reason?) and only serves to polarize people. Did you know those people? Do you know the people who are presenting this to you? Do you trust them, and if so why? Why would you believe the youtube shooting? Shootings happen everyday. Multiple times daily. Why is this one getting MASSIVE publicity, much like the other hoaxes, when other shootings do not? Maybe it's because with a planned event the narrative can be controlled. | 2 | Oh silly me. I thought she had raped him. With him being 11 and all.We can have nuance. When there is hard evidence or admission of guilt perhaps. Edit: I realize in our current justice system the death penalty is probably not a good solution. When there is massive incentive for attorneys to get convictions, both for their career/reputation and their wallets, or corrupt judges, people will be wrongfully convicted. I don't know the solution, it's just insane how much money is spent on keeping people in cells so they can spend more money on appeals. | /r/MensRights | 28/06/17 05:20 PM

| 11 | Oh silly me. I thought she had raped him. With him being 11 and all.Fuck that. I think a quick execution is the best solution... it's not like the father tortured the rapist, that is the kind of revenge IMO that perpetuates evil. For real though.
