Being red pill doesn’t make you bitter towards women lol. The Chads I know are red pilled through experience, they are more likely to be red pilled without a label than blue pilled.

is it normal for a guy to feel insecure if he discovers that his partner uses toys? No, this is not normal. he’ll (most likely get insecure) if she has a past is too open. Wtf?

Most people have low standards. That's why their life is ass and people complain all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 07:04 PM

You think you'd still be happy going your whole life without anyone showing any sign of sexual or romantic interest towards you? If the roles were reversed women would feel exactly the same way men do. Women also feel this, just not to the extent that men can experience it. There's a break-off point where women cannot enter into that "extreme level of loneliness". I don't believe this supports your argument though. the average woman can have sex or start a relationship anytime she likes If you w…

It's dangerous to like any group of people "a lot". The reality is that women need to increase their standards, but remain reasonable once that adjustment is made. The hypergamous nature needs to be practical. If women increased their standards, this idea they will be used as a weak loving gazelle will dissipate. Man plays video game while he's out of shape? Gone. Man goes to bars while his financial life is not in order? Gone. Man wastes time complaining about not getting dates on Reddit? Gone.…

One of my best friends in high school was lesbian. She taught me a bunch of secrets, but we would never hook up, she was genuinely disgusted by the thought of penis lol. One of my other good friends I still have from high school came out to us a year ago, we were 27 at the time. He mainly hangs with women, but as a guy having a gay dude around helps a lot. If I need advice on styling, I just call him right up.

Even if that was the case, it still doesn’t invalidate my point of why the initial friendship is attractive. Anyway, most women are attracted to masculine men who have power over other men and that collect more resources than the other guy.

Pretty simple, women have the ability to have a male friend without worrying about that man trying to advance sexually. There's no psychological or back-end theory here.

If she is not conditionally feminine, then doesn’t she act submissive, agreeable, and sexually inviting to every man? No, I also wouldn't consider "sexually inviting" as an attribute of femininity. That would be a relationship dynamic. So, if we remove that, and start with submissive and agreeable, the answer is still technically no, because "every man" would include men in situations where your conditions should never be expected to be met (or at least 98% of time). For example, in general, a w…

Conditional femininity/masculinity = men will act feminine, and women will act masculine until both of their conditions are met. What you’ve described here is really just “waiting”. A man who engages in conditional masculinity in this context is essentially screwed, it’s not really an option for men. It’s also a poor decision for a woman to be conditionally feminine in my opinion, but that’s much easier to get away with.

Yeah, that would be fine. However, the argument starts due to the fact that women often lack self-awareness, and have wants that conflict with their current actions. "I want a child by the time I'm 30" "I will only have my child with a man who is tall and rich" With the attributes of - *Overweight, rude, masculine, career driven, not submissive* If you concede to dying alone as a woman, or in the mans case in my hypothetical scenario, dying without getting rich, all while continuously living in …

There is some super cringe “red pill” content out there, but for the most part, people seem to wildly misinterpret red pill talking points. This is fair given it has become so popular, but the experience people share about red pill when they’re looking to disagree with it is usually pretty far off. Men don’t denigrate women for wanting rich and good looking men, they point out the fact that most women don’t have the qualities men who are rich and good looking search for, yet women think they’re …

Disney (and pretty much every fictional story we tell) really just stems from stories going wayyyy back in human history, and even the bible (not religious myself, but it’s true). They’re arguably connected to deep rooted feelings we all have, and those feelings would exist whether or not Disney told the story. Also, nobody wants to think they’re not “the one”. We all have our own conscious experiences that we need to protect…. Women seem to be more concerned with protecting their views on the w…

Standards and preferences are interchangeable in this example. I understand your point, but it’s a moot point in terms of my response above. Not saying it’s uninteresting, but it just doesn’t change my point really.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 07:31 AM

Huh? How can you attribute an argument like that to a group of people with no data backing it at all? I’m sure there are loads of men who fathered a child that weren’t theirs that are pushing for this, or men who caught women who tried to play it off and they were outed beforehand. As for the latter paragraph, yes, I agree. However, this is likely a lot less practical than how you’re painting it. Large groups of society will have to meet each other doing things they wouldn’t be happy with doing …

That’s just simply not true. I mean, just think about it, that makes no sense. Women don’t talk to ANYONE that doesn’t meet their standards? This is crazy talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 07:17 AM

This just made no sense whatsoever. I asked a question, and then you said “Yes, because….”, followed by an explanation that doesn’t add up at all in relation to my question. If a woman voluntarily makes her standards part of the discussion, it is no longer “none of his business”, and your entire defense goes out the window.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 04:05 AM

Who is debating women’s preferences? Are you saying that men telling certain women that they’re likely to settle based on their standards, means that those men are debating against their preferences? That’s pretty off…..they’re not debating against their preferences, they’re saying that they are unrealistic for a specific individual, and so they’re likely to have to adjust their preferences at some point, or live in a continuous state of delusion. It would be like telling a man who wants to get …

There’s a lot of nuance here, but imagine a man meeting a woman at a club. They discuss terms to move on from the club scene after dating for a bit, but she continues to do it. This man isn’t “dumb yet”, but in the case it persists and he marries her, then yeah, he’s dumb. Before the marriage point, the “you don’t trust me” issue may arise, and it’s not that the man doesn’t trust her to a healthy extent regularly, it’s the fact that she’s going out in revealing clothing and placing herself in si…

If I was simply addressing your title - You can never 100% trust somebody else for extended periods of time. People change, people’s ideals change, people can change all of their belief systems in under a decade…. That’s why things like prenups exist, as well as other safety precautions for long term relationships. Your examples are where things definitely go south on this topic….. The proposed ideal for mandatory paternity tests is not necessarily about an individual directly accusing their spo…

Some people don't think there's a difference, and believe it's bad on both sides. Would you agree with that idea (bad for both men and women)?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:42 PM

Yeah, this is where making a lot of money as a man could go south (eventually). You have to pick carefully once you’ve “made it”, because you may sweep a woman off her feet with your high value lifestyle, and she’ll act perfect, but eventually, she could become jaded and start complaining about absolutely ridiculous things because they’re just a natural complainer. You have to search for women who essentially don’t really “care” about anything you could provide, but just highly appreciate it. I’…

Reddit is really a cesspool of people responding to content on more forward facing social media platforms. The question is really why is the gender way becoming so popular on more popular platforms for video?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 12:39 AM

Your title stated that a belief system that makes you feel good, is not serving you. I provided a belief system that would make you feel good, and serve you. You’re weaseling your way out of it by tossing a bunch of unnecessary deconstructions towards my example. “Someone’s healthy belief system that being fat is bad, can make them feel good, and serve them”. “Well, this doesn’t leave room for healthy fat!” Like, wtf, lol. It doesn’t matter, it still makes them feel good, and serves them. There …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 12:19 AM

I’m asserting it because we’re debating, lol. You still haven’t disproven my example, you’re simply trying to argue that because there is a healthy range of fat, a healthy belief system that makes you feel good is not serving you. This doesn’t make any sense. However, this doesn’t matter either way, which is why I labeled it as grasping at straws. Belief systems can make you feel good, and still serve you at the same time. I have provided an example that you have yet to disprove.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/23 07:53 PM

Your idea here is just not valid, and this can be proven by looking at how you had to bend my point to argue it. Having 0% body fat is not ideal of course, and this is obvious. Having a healthy range of fat means you are not “fat”, to argue this as if it’s not a given is grasping at straws. Your belief system can serve you well, and make you feel good, without being labeled as an excuse, or something that isn’t serving you well. Also, I wasn’t saying the Dunning Kruger effect in and of itself ex…

Eh, this seems pretty off. The practical goal of a belief system is to develop heuristics that typically result in positive outcomes. For example, if my belief system allows me to believe that being healthy is good, and being fat is bad, my heuristics will likely cause me to make healthier decisions, and therefore, result in a bunch of positive outcomes, as opposed to another belief system that would lead me to think, “Being fat is okay!”, and continuing to eat like shit. In the case you have be…

I never said “hugely accomplished”. I said any accomplishments. It is fairly difficult to have a good conversation with someone who doesn’t accomplish anything, which is most people. There’s nothing to talk about, no experiences, and everything will be speculation based off of no solid ground.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 05:40 PM

Most men get pretty nervous on dates, other than that, most people in general can’t hold good conversations because they’re dumb, and or they don’t have much going on in their life/don’t hold any accomplishments. If you were to ask most people what they accomplished in the past month or so, the answers would be incredibly boring, or the answer would be “nothing”. Aside from that, the “being dumb” usually comes into play either way for men AND women, because if you don’t know that the easiest way…

I stayed home until 25, when I could have left at 21, and had a nice place on my own. I left my home with a large amount of money, and a lucrative business. I purchased a nice house, and got my dream car. Went from looking like a dork, to “what the hell does that guy do?”. Nothing wrong with staying home past 25 either, what matters is what that person is doing at home. I never said people would stop having kids without marriage, that’s an insane statement. You’re not arguing my rebuttal here….and your argument that doesn’t apply, still doesn’t make sense. My point was that OP is arguing that men are upset about things that they aren’t, and in reality, men are already talking much more about the danger of becoming very involved with poorly vetted women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 11:14 PM

This depends on who you know/what your social status is. I know a good handful of men paying alimony. Regardless, that point is rather irrelevant. Marriage and reproduction coexist for most logical people, so it’s the same talking point.

Men, in general, do not want societal safety nets for themselves, nor do they complain about societal safety nets for women. Women are more vulnerable in the case of something like homelessness, but more often, “women’s shelters” are more prevalent in given areas for domestic violence fleeing. The chief complaint from men, is unfair treatment in family court. Which is why there is a lot of pushback from men on marriage in general lately. The gender dynamics debate is increasingly popular for thi…

Definitely not a problem in the way you seem to see it. You can’t be considered “dominated” in a game when your goal was never to partake in said game in the first place. College has been regarded to as “sketchy” for quite some time now, and any success data really requires high levels of skepticism, as data could easily be cherry-picked. College has a horrific success rate, is often overpriced, and there is an excessive amount of content on the internet explaining why modern college may not be right for you. Men have been opting-out of college and taking alternative approaches. It’s not “domination” in that regard, men are just taking a different route. Also, I’ve never met a man who wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with a man wanting to be a kindergarten teacher, or that the world revol…

Depends, some debates are good. I think some people have just silently conceded to some opposing views over time, and now there’s less progression in debates here. As an example, it seems to me that a few RP talking points have kind of “won” in a way, and the next evolution of them is pretty boring debate wise. A year or two ago, I would mostly see people arguing that n count doesn’t matter, now I’m seeing arguments from those same people saying that “it depends on where/when a woman obtained a …

Yeah, I can't consider a guy who can simply allow for SAHM to be "top tier". There are a lot of men who can provide this, but don't fit other qualifiers that women lay out. Either way, I'm not exactly sure what your angle is here then.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 07:58 PM

Not really, a top tier guy is someone who can afford high end cars, jewelry, frequent vacations, and can invest in their spouse’s endeavors while their spouse does not have to work at all. Supporting a family is lower on the totem pole there in terms of “top tier guy”. But to clarify, when you say support a family, I’m assuming you mean SAHM right?

You really think men wanting to be loved originated recently? That’s wild. Men and women both want to be loved, and for the most part, always have. Men feel comfortable telling women to lower their standards because it’s ruthlessly obvious what the end result will be of having unrealistic standards, as well as a delusional take on your own SMV. It’s just basic math, if most women want the top tier guy, either they have to share them, or they will be unhappily married if they don’t work on adjust…

Yeah, I mean, given the idea that her Instagram isn’t just clickbait or attention grabs, this person is a pretty solid snapshot of desperate women in NYC who are likely to settle at some point. They move to Manhattan “for the lifestyle”, get a higher paying job, then essentially act like men for 5-10 years while ruthlessly increasing their N count and standards. Most high-status men would be willing to settle down. The deal just has to be good enough, and they often can find that. However, someone like this seems to be a fairly bad deal, and also likely has some emotional problems. This is just based on my observation of her need to publicly and desperately address her superficial wants, even if it is just for attention.

Some other people in the comments think it's a location problem of NYC having too many options for top tier men. This would be irrelevant either way. I think you’re exaggerating. The large majority of men who seek these “similar” attributes wouldn’t say, “I do not care if she has no ambition whatsoever”. That would essentially make someone intolerable to be around. So this is just kind of a bad faith twist on men who want a more traditional relationship. Women are actually slightly more likely to be aggressive towards their partner physically speaking amongst younger people, but more often than not, they use indirect aggression, and it's easier to get away with because of this. There is a study where men were tested to see if they were intimidated by highly educated women on Tinder, the answer was no. Your preconceived notion here seems pretty bitter. Why does it have to be “mindlessly following everything I want”? A lot of men are just treated aggressively by their partner, despite the man being the full package (like I said). Whenever this is brought up, bitter women just label other women with happy lives as zombies. I guess it works as a pretty solid defense mechanism.

I think one of the best things I’ve heard is that a man’s day starts when he gets home from work. So many women are causing men pain these days by just not acting like women. I got lucky, but I definitely feel for men struggling finding the treatment they want, despite them being the full package.

You just argued that a 22 year old woman is very different from a 28 year old woman. Then argued that 6 years doesn’t change much and that both are comparable. This will be an awesome hill to die on if you’d like. I understand that this could allow for a false sense of security, but this isn’t really debatable. You can easily find immature 40 year olds, but generally speaking, a 22 year old woman is going to be much more mature than a 22 year old man. Also, you’ve already lost this debate by act…

You didn't answer my question, why? Your post is impractical, and your comments contradict it. Women won't just sit around being disliked by men. So either you think women should put out quickly to lock in the guy they want repeatedly, or remain disliked by men until they "meet a unicorn", which would make the person who waited the winner since they obtained the unicorn, lol. This is a mind-boggling pivot, lol. Men don’t actually like women who don’t sleep with men quickly I’m not telling women to have sex with men quicker Oh, so just be disliked by men until you put out quicker, or just never be liked by men? Got it. At what point should a woman sleep with a man who she wants to be with? That way she can avoid being disliked because she isn’t putting out then?

This is a bad take. You’re in college telling women they will struggle in their dating life if they don’t put out early, yet as a woman’s body count increases, her chance of a future long term successful relationship decreases. You’re in college, you’re not dealing with men, you’re dealing with boys (especially if you’re dorming). In the future, you will see the women who hold out wind up with a better partner, and the ones who put out quick will settle.

You’re right about the average guy having a better chance by doing this, but it’s not what women truly prefer. Even then, the move is risky, because men could fuck it up easier than playing it cool. Sounds nitpicky, but I’m mainly just arguing against your title because I think it’s important. Women actually prefer being able to obtain a man she wants to be with right away. No. The main issues aren't cheating or leaving, those are short term problems that give you the answers. The bigger issues are the overall baggage, lack of connection, etc., when one could easily choose to find a better option. But not with this obsession with numbers like people do on PPD. Not much of an obsession, it's fairly easy to find the data on it. People talk about it IRL, but it is a rather odd topic to be bringing up out of nowhere. Also, if your circle would disagree with n count having an effect on relationships, it's equally understanding they wouldn't look for data to prove them wrong. However, in this case, they are wrong.

Many people who have no idea what PPD is are aware of these studies. It's not a "PPD Study", it's a popular topic far outside of this sub. Your explanation of why my previous take doesn't make any sense, actually makes no sense. Me - It’s irrelevant whether or not someone looks at any data on the subject, the result will be the same whether or not they are aware of it. You - That doesn't make sense.....how are you going to vet against high ncounts? Your response isn't even a logical argument aga…

Low IQ take. It’s irrelevant whether or not someone looks at any data on the subject, the result will be the same whether or not they are aware of it. If driving while your tired increases your chance of an accident, it doesn’t matter if you read a study on driving while you’re tired, your chance of an accident is still higher while driving tired. Men also avoid it naturally, so there’s that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/23 09:18 PM
1

This makes absolutely no sense. Your preferences become much more bulletproof with studies to back up your preference, as long as your ideal outcome is to have a long-term happy relationship, this makes perfect sense. If data shows you reduce your chances of having a good relationship by doing (X), then it’s very logical to avoid (X).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/23 09:12 PM
1

Even if those two things discontinued, it would still hold a stigma. The data proves that N count can effect your relationship. Higher N count = less likely to have a long-term relationship, Lower N count = more likely to have a long-term relationship. Men will always look to avoid putting themselves in a relationship with a high N count woman, it's essentially illogical to pursue the opposite, because you're putting yourself in a worse situation when you don't have to.

The women here are mostly just strawmanning your post, which is unfortunately just easy to expect at this point. If these women didn't receive the amount of sex that THEY wanted in a relationship/marriage, they would blame the entire demise of that relationship on the fact that they didn't receive the right amount of sexual attention. However, when the roles are reversed, they will strawman you....... Man - "I'm not receiving the amount of sex I'd be happy with." Woman - "Oh, so you think our re…

You’re creating an unnecessary comparison that is also likely to not even be true. Comparing a doctor who owns his own practice to an NBA bench warmer isn’t a comprehensive comparison while discussing “status in society”. They’re both already beating 99% of society, and at that point, their options will be so wide it becomes irrelevant in any practical sense unless you’re talking about one night stands, but you’re not. Getting rich makes it much harder to not obtain status, you’d have to be a co…

A lot of energy and wasted time is spent trying to get people to “admit” and being angry over it. Eh, not really. I think the entertainment sector around this topic does this, but for the most part, people just learn it and move on. Most successful guys I meet including myself are all "red pilled", it's just that we barely even talk about it. As a weird hypothetical, some random dork could start yelling about red pill in a fancy restaurant, and most men would agree, but those men would just keep…

My view is simply that the environment that makes dating hard for men is because of sports culture I don't think it's this. I think it's the brain rotting media that most women consume in the west. Just look at anything popular amongst women, it's actually insane how out of pocket it is, yet it's become completely normalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/23 08:38 PM

I think most normal people, man or woman, have the ability to lean on someone of the opposite sex for either sex or companionship. They might not view that person as an ideal long term partner, but they’re still there. People online debating against this idea aren’t usually “normal” in my experience. If you’re doing absolutely nothing to make yourself at least somewhat attractive, that’s just not normal.

It does get easier in the sense that the average guy who meets a few pre-requisites starts to get more options. That is because that’s when the average woman typically starts to actually look for their equally average man as a partner, as opposed to thinking they can attract an above average man as an average woman. However, I don’t believe this is the start of a happy life for both parties, and I believe this is one of the main contributors to divorce down the road. In other words, women become…

56% of women with kids under 18 would like to stay home. 39% of women with no kids would like to stay home. I would wager there is also a significant portion of women who know deep down they would stay home if presented with a favorable scenario, meaning a large portion would essentially lie if asked due to societal pressure. That being said, the split is likely 50/50 overall. You won’t really see a lot of women have these conversations unless you’re a man who could provide that life. Even my gi…

The smartest business model I’ve seen so far is building an audience of men who are willing to pay for only fans on accounts the agency owns, and then cycling in new women to that account once they have converted a certain number of those men into paying clients. However, the whole conversation gets diluted with hypocrisy so it’s hard to even get that far.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/22 06:58 AM

That being said, having a high paying career puts you in proximity of other high paying people, but it doesn’t guarantee anything. It definitely does not guarantee anything, but it's pretty damn close to a guarantee. Considering the fact that a large portion of relationships start because of work (right behind meeting through friends), I would say that taking up a career in something like luxury real estate is essentially a surefire way to meet someone who has their shit together lol.

There are women out there that are the prize and are worth the work you have described here. You may have just not met one yet. I can see an argument that there’s seemingly less and less out there, but again, that goes back to how the game is simply rigged. Doesn’t mean you can’t beat it though.

This is why people start businesses. I wouldn’t say your philosophy is that strong though. The thought that hard work or sacrifice can go completely unrecognized and without any benefit is a bit strange. There is always good that comes from it, even if it’s pointless…. Also, at the end of the day, I think 99% of what we do is irrelevant and pointless anyway. It’s the 1% of things we do/find out that make all the difference. However, all of the things we do in the 99% that don’t matter lead to th…

The realities being that living a life of higher quality is near impossible to do without a partner for the majority of people. I grew up in NY, everyone around me was at least in some form of good condition. Very rare to see someone who was legitimately repulsive, I now live in South Florida and NY, between both of those places you’ll see people dating all over the place, conventionally unattractive people will be with conventionally attractive people and conventionally unattractive people will…

because what they get from being in a relationship with a person that isn't very close to what they have in mind as an ideal, isn't that appealing anymore. Yes, because the think they can live a good life without a relationship. My original point was that the people who think this way are just young and hold an inaccurate forecast for the future. People will 100% lower their standards of looking for an 8 or above once faced with the realities of the world around them. I agree with the rest of wh…

Sure, if you have to choose between an abusive man or an obese woman and a smaller/less ideal living situation, for many the choice would be taking the hit on the living situation while continuing to look for a better option. However, it’s not one or the other. While obesity is prevalent, obese people will still find relationships, especially with other obese people. Abusive men are a far lower percentage of the population than obese men or women too. Also, my argument wasn’t that people who are…

You don’t need to do it and it can’t be expected that you would, but it’s just a person asking for help. The questions she asked were nosy, but she clearly just likes you and your responses are a little dick/a bit unnecessary. Again, just want to put emphasis on the “kind of an asshole” here. I really don’t understand what part of the country these “You don’t need a relationship anymore to live” arguments are coming from….. Sure, if you’re in your 20’s and live with 3 roommates in a big city, you don’t need a relationship. Problem is that so many people base their entire personality, beliefs, morals, and ethics on short social media clips. It's absolutely rampant, and now it's somewhat rare to find people who don't spend at least a decent portion of their time on social media these days. My point was not that opportunity cost itself is a fallacy. Opportunity cost is very real. I believe saying someone else’s opportunity cost is higher or lower than your own, and using THAT to justify not taking advantage of your time, or not looking for more time, or not looking for more opportunity creates the fallacy….. Essentially my point is that everyone’s opportunity cost is the same because we’re all capable of better. Monetary gain is irrelevant in this particular thought process to me, …

To be clear, I didn’t assume you were a small biz owner with that statement. I believe it applies to everyone. Opportunity cost being higher or lower depending on the individual is a fallacy IMO. That’s even without the thought of a future family which you may change your mind on.

If you want to look at it from the most selfish standpoint possible - having a good woman will definitely result in you making more money. Still have to weigh the pros and the cons, but it becomes rather difficult to manage everything that comes with life without a partner (a big one being homeownership, which everyone says is a lot of work but nobody really respects the claim until it happens to them), there are alternative ways around this that you can pay for, but then you’re paying service f…

Men who are business owners that are good with women aren’t good with women because of money. Their emotional awareness is at a “female” level and that’s why they have success. In an odd way, most business books for men are just discussing how to seduce other men. When you get good at that, talking to women becomes a lot easier as you learn how to speak to someone in the way they like to be spoken to, mirror them, view the situation from their perspective, and can keep a conversation going. I think the accurate version of this is that “it’s a non-factor” if this is your opinion. When women say it doesn’t matter, their opinion seems like it’s more so just not a factor when it comes to who they are as a person. So yes, some still don’t want to share it for other reasons, but saying “it doesn’t matter” is just inaccurate when it comes to what they actually mean. To them, it’s just a non-factor. I grew up on Long Island, many rich parents did this and their kids are all lazy as hell. I grew up lower middle class and “broke the family curse”, so it does play out in my experience. However, I’m not arguing that overall a smart poor kid will do better than a rich dumb kid. No. For someone who is experiencing chest pains (in comparison, someone who is iffy on signals women are sending them or is in a situation where the chances of a false accusation feels/is higher) the statistical chance of dropping dead of a heart attack at that age can be used to help show someone who is worried about it that there’s likely nothing to worry about. This is what you w…

That statement isn’t false, but doesn’t hold weight in this regard as there’s no agreed upon number or percentage of false allegations. You could argue this if we were discussing the chance of dropping dead of a heart attack in your 20’s because the probability of that is extremely low. You can’t argue against this fear as being invalid on the premise that people are afraid of things that aren’t likely to happen because you have no idea what the chance is of it happening to you.

Calling that an extreme case to me takes away from the fact that it’s a very real possibility that men are aware and afraid of. Alternatively, many things that could be labeled as an “extreme case” would be a disservice to those who have truly experienced it.

I disagree…. Women are definitely starting to become more and more direct because they understand it’s not a “lack of adequate social interaction”. It’s that men by and large are afraid of making a “hot move” because their entire life can be ruined within a few days if they read a situation wrong and if that woman (who may have seen totally normal and into it) winds up to be a nut case who falsely accuses them. The majority of men are concerned about this and are very afraid of false accusations…

It’s illogical - most people hold ideals for themselves that don’t reflect the worldview they suggest imposing or implementing for others. At the end of the day, most people would give this shit up if people were just in better positions, but people aren’t. For the majority of people, being in an above average situation by today’s standards pretty much requires you to push away and deny everything you’re being told for the short term. Men would sweep women off their feet left and right when time…

I believe there is a balance, and I understand I might come off as a huge stick in the mud here, but this is why I think shows and movies that contain stuff like this aren’t all that good to watch. They dramatize horrible things that happen to real people for views. To me, it’s just kind of a cheap shot and I don’t find it enjoyable. People like to watch it because they like to get wrapped up in the drama of it and place themselves in that situation in their imagination, but usually those who ha…

People will invent all kinds of twisted arguments to avoid confronting their own shittiness. Pretty much the main issue with the internet IMO. It has allowed groups of people to come up with the "best" excuses and pollute the minds of children and young adults. What may seem harmless to some who agree with certain things on the internet could very well be a very cancerous mindset/thought/idea to take in and repeat.

A lot of people are jealous of other people for a lot of reasons. People will often give backhanded compliments and be sarcastic because they're insecure and don't have the recipe. I think most people are jealous of people who hold their youth, everyone would trade everything to be younger again.

Nope, permanent decision in my eyes. As for the other question, that's fine, but it's kind of irrelevant when it comes to the main question IMO.

I mean, I can see people arguing something along the lines of that love is conditional, and people "fall in love" because of what is provided vs what is at the core.... However, to say it doesn't exist, that's just an absurd amount of ignorance.

Tell the truth, it’s so rare these days it should be respected. From there, in the case they work on that issue, you can always get back together in good faith. I would have benefited heavily from the truth back in the day, it just took years of rejection for me to really look in the mirror.

There’s nothing wrong with sending a message or that they want to send a message. Which is fine ???? you’re supposed to show who you are, not just mindlessly do things the way your date might want them to be. Are you just saying this at random? I really don't think you genuinely believe that on a first date both parties don't bend the truth at least a little bit to make themselves seem a little bit better than they truly are. That's extremely out of touch if you believe this. Most people aren’t …

Women can pay for dates, it just depends on how the woman wants to present herself. There’s nothing that says they can’t. If a woman insists on paying, to a lot of men that’s seen as a sign they have something to prove, or that they want to send a message. Which is fine, that’s just how a lot of men will read it. I like to cook certain meals because when I was growing up I worked in a butcher shop, so I really like to cook steaks. However, other than that, my girlfriend mostly cooks for us becau…

People are obese and don’t brush their teeth. While I totally agree that there are moments of shock when it comes to how dumb people act, I find this to be the least surprising. Women be letting men hit it raw while not on birth control all the time. The only women I know who have gotten abortions are women who didn’t use any form of protection and frequently had sex. What a shocker, right?
